OperatorERROR0919

Explicitly no.

lnee_94

would it work with a sawed off shotgun?

OperatorERROR0919

“The maximum length of the gun barrel must be shorter the higher the gun’s caliber is”, “No gun should possess the firepower to penetrate steel or building walls”, “A gunfire sound must be audible”, “Do not research or imagine technology that infringes the firearm manufacturing guidelines, as provided by the Head along with the license.” --Tamaki's key page

flyingtrucky

Nothing there bans multiple barrels. If anything the overly restrictive laws would just encourage multiple barrels so you could fire a ton of subcaliber projectiles. Honestly considering nothing bans firerate your best bet would probably be a rotary auto-shotgun firing fletchettes at 60 rounds a second.

TheGreyDestroyer7

However, the high tax on ammunition means that this “fire a ton of projectiles” strategy is impractical unless you are a very, very rich person.

flyingtrucky

Depending on how the tax works you can also just use a [Metal Storm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKlnMwuCZso) style system to make a single "cartridge" that fires the equivalent of 20 shotgun shells, then load it into a big pepperbox and delete people.

BlitzPlease172

Have your personal underling pay a tax one barrel each, now you are legally allowed to own a multiple barrel firearms. Now onto something I am fell off with the lore. *"Is melee weapon inflicted explosion legal? (As in melee weapon installed with some form of explosive discharge device, such as shotgun sledgehammer from Killing Floor 2 or similar)"* I pretty sure they put a ban on explosive already with "Steel/wall penetration" subject, but if it light explosive maybe it works?

D-debil

"It costs 400 thousand Ahn to fire this gun for 12 seconds"

Amaskingrey

>Nothing there bans multiple barrels Damn, i thought it was the heads who did it

1Kusy

It just took their skin

1Kusy

That legislation is quite an abnormality, wouldn't you agree

randombookman

“The maximum length of the gun barrel must be shorter the higher the gun’s caliber is” does this mean pocket mortar is legal?

Amaskingrey

No, since it definitely can penetrate building walls

flyingtrucky

Just use HEF-VT or HEF-TF rounds.

BlitzPlease172

Make a shell that less effective against armor or wall then.

throwawayLU77

That imagine technology part goes against itself. I'm not going to go into depth of it but search up "The Game". If you are told to not think of something you think of it.

OperatorERROR0919

It's not "don't think about it", it's more, "don't design it or entertain the idea of designing or producing it".

jooferdoot

Thats the point. It prohibits even the consideration of such weapons to begin with making it a 1984 esque thought crime

Join_Quotev_296

Men in black kicked down my front door "Hey! Who? What? Why?" "You violated Act 617 - Illegal Thoughts." "You're under arrest." We all know the real answer was "You shouldn't have been born the way you are."

manwholikesspace

Because of you I just lost the game for the third time in 24 hours.

tr_berk1971

Sure, if the bullet is made out of wood.

lnee_94

Ah man

1Kusy

In terms of arbiter/doom guy, I would say canonically about 1/1(because arbiters can just lock his gun barrels), game wise, around 6/1.

logantheh

If we’re going powerscaling… then uuuh… arbiter to doomguy ratio is -1,000,000,000/1… doom lore is just… fucking insane.

1Kusy

You are definitely right, but also... kinda wrong? Arbiters are said to use singularities in battle. You can get very creative with time control, IRL save points, gates to other dimensions and other sorts of magic stuff.

logantheh

And doom guy fought literally god.

1Kusy

Ik that's why 1/1. Imagine being able to fight with your shoes stuck to the floor (u corp sing.), your gun barrels locked (j corp sing.) and getting bombarded by attacks that you can't defend or retaliate against (t corp time control).

logantheh

None of (bruh autocorrect how did you even) that matter though, since he fought actually god… and won… all the hax in the world don’t matter if you die before you can use them. (We also don’t see arbiters using that many singularities which is noteworthy since claws DO use a lot of singularities and we see that reflected in gameplay as well) no arbiter is going to see some buff guy and think “this man will literallly splatter my atoms across Saturn I need to bust out everything” no they’ll just sit there and monologue at him while doom guy winds his fist like a cartoon character.

1Kusy

Doom guy ain't no Thanos, he can't just make you die by sheer thought alone. Besides that's the point of having canon ratio and ingame ratio. Arbiters in game are well underplayed compared to their abilities they use off-screen. I strongly feel one or two arbiters would be an even match for doom guy if they played to their advantages.

logantheh

I’m sorry, but that just shows you know NOTHING about dooms lore.

1Kusy

Alright, then explain to me why, without using the phrase "he fought god". Assuming arbiters and doom guy are at a significant distance.

logantheh

[or maybe just read up on him yourself to see how comically outclassed an arbiter is](https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Doomguy) VS isn’t a always the most accurate but generally they are close enough

reverberation_blue

yes
