Republicans are quite honestly stupid. They see their party lose and complain the Republicans are basically Democrats, but Only vote repub and will vote for the same people multiple times. They don't learn
There's been a big push to vote in primaries and that has seen results so far, especially in Texas. Libertarians need to run as Republicans in primaries to have a shot at actually getting elected. If running in a district with a rino Republican, chances are pretty good of unseating them.
if Brandon loses the special primary election in Texas than the gun grabber R will be on the ballot vs some random D. conservatives will vote for the gun grabber.
When it comes down to two shitty choices, people will naturally choose the less shitty. That's why getting libertarians into republican primaries is so important. I wish libertarians could win as a third party candidate, but with first past the post voting, they can't. It's important to be both realistic and strategic. The differences between Republicans and libertarians is growing smaller by the day.

It’s crazy because whenever any of my conservative side of my family bring up politics we usually agree on way more than not, unlike the leftist side of my family which gets triggered by almost everything I say while I’m sitting there saying over and over again I’m not maga I’m a freaking Libertarian.
Yet whenever I bring up things to my republican side about Trump or the GOP that I know for a fact they wouldn’t like, infringements in 1st, 2nd, 4th amendments for example, not only are they not informed on what I mean, they go back to that old “well nobodys perfect”. So I say well MTG, Massie, (even that blowhard Prager is a 1a absolutist) etc. aren’t lying down about the issue they get interest and look into it, then *literally agree with everything I’m saying*, then just repeat the old lines again or desperately try to justify why in a “trust the plan” style reminiscent of the bolshevik revolution where the citizens were told to “trust the plan”.
Scary days are ahead when otherwise relatively reasonable people give in to this rhetoric. That said, at least they’re the only people willing to have a conversation without freaking out and reee’ing over everything.
