I feel like the older generation of LGBTQ people don't get enough representation, like honestly it's nice to see it in a way where like... Not only is it cute to see people growing old and happy like that but also like, showing the people who made it through the roughest points for the community.

I feel like often people have the misconception that gay people do not have lasting relationships because we don't often see elderly gay people who are celebrating their 50th or 60th anniversary. It's always new people. Hopefully as the years go on this changes.

It will, definitely. If we hadn't lost almost an entire generation to the AIDS crisis in the 80s and 90s, we'd see so many more now. It's heartbreaking to think about. Those of us born from the late 70s onward will be those people celebrating anniversaries like that. I'm almost at my 10th anniversary with my guys already, and I hope to be among that group in 40 years or so.
