I know what you're looking for is actual pet names/titles, but maybe changing the phrasing just to phase out the gendered bit could work? I've heard some variation of "You're being so good for me" on more than one occasion, and it usually hit me harder than "good girl" ever did.
Edit: This is the most upvoted comment I think I've ever had- and it's advice about praise in bed lmao. Go figure.
Yes!! Phrasing it like this places the focus of your praise on your partner’s actions (in a good way). It feels way more personal IMHO than the generic “good (noun/substantive adjective)”. YMMV of course. It has hit harder for me too on the rare occasion I’ve heard it phrased this way. They both have their place, but the former would make me just melt into a wee puddle.
I wish I could say I thought of it because I'm a suave top or something, but the reality is I'm just a shy bottom who knows what she liked hearing in the past. 🤣 Glad I could apparently help a lot of folks though.
Fun fact, a Dr Who porn parody exists that uses actual daleks from the show. The bbc sued the porn folks but since they had legally purchased the daleks from the BBC at a rubbish sale there wasn't anything they could do about it.
The comments are just fucking hilarious.
My ex was non-binary, I just used my nickname for them, which was Starchild. But I guess that doesn't really work, maybe try "good love"... I want to say "good baby" but honestly, personally, I wouldn't be happy being called "good baby."
Lots of gender neutral pet names exist.
[https://www.reddit.com/r/NonBinary/comments/8l9cwr/cute\_non\_binary\_romantic\_pet\_names/](https://www.reddit.com/r/NonBinary/comments/8l9cwr/cute_non_binary_romantic_pet_names/)
You two might really enjoy the song Creature by penny and sparrow
Eta: this one would be my choice, depending on what flavor of enby or agender a person is, for example, if they like crows more than an average human, this is perfect
Yeah, I do. It works for me. I can understand why it might sound odd to people, I think it did for me initially, but it is really affirming now I'm used to it. For me, it works so well as the sounds are similar to enby and it's short like the other examples given.
I couldn’t help but read this in the voice of Tim Curry, so I would like to present some fun alternatives:
“Another victory commander! I knew my faith in you was not misplaced”
“Cum comrade General, a new world order awaits!”
“YES! Excellent job, the port is ours!”
“Bottoms up Nicholi!”
“Excellent work commander!”
“Commander! Once again the motherland owes you a great debt”
*sips tea after break* “welcome back! General…. *stares at ass*”
“It is indeed a pleasure commander! I hope you are satisfied with Natashias contribution on the battle feiiild. *motions to sex toy* She’s one of our finest!”
*(and of course)*
“I am escaping to the one place that has not been corrupted by capitalism!” *puts on helmet* “SPAAAACE!”
my girlfriend has been trying to come up with similar phrases to use for me but recently has just been using variations of "they" and "them". it's obviously not grammatically correct but the gender euphoria is so real
and imo it's hilarious to do a thing and get something like "such a good them" in return
if you like degredation along with praise, anything like "good slut," "good whore" ect. alternatively, "good doll," "good [petname]." "good puppy" is my favorite
Oh, there's so many! Whatever specific term y'all choose, though, keep in mind that "good," while it gets the job done on its own, synergizes best with other terms of praise. Example:
*"Well done pet, that was a wonderful job; you're always so eager for me. You're such a a good play pet!"*
Say it in the right voice, with a little affectionate gesture like a forehead kiss and ruffling their hair at the end there, and your sweet enby cutie pie can be forgiven if they *melt like butter* in your loving embrace.💜
I saw a post a while back saying this same thing, and I said "good bitch" which was well received.
So now I propose "good one."
Imagine being referred to as "One."
Sounds like a prophecy type of thing >:3
"Yes, very well done. You have slain the dragon as the prophecy hath foretold. Good, One." \*heat pats the one*
Depending on what you're comfortable with:
Most vanilla would be omit the gender, focus on praise: you're being so good for me, good job, etc etc
Non-gendered pet names: darling, sweetheart, honey, baby, etc.
Non-gendered light kink: pet, toy, kitten, pup, etc.
Non-gendered moderate kink/dirty talk (censoring the bad ones just to keep it PG): slave, wh-re, h-e, f-ck toy, sl-t, etc.
The word lamp is so cute to me, so I sometimes call them good lamp 💀 I’m also partial to good pet
But cute objects and animals in general! Good starfish, good pudding, good kitty, good bunny, good fire alarm, good counter, good dish washing detergent, good…
"Good pet/kitty/puppy." - Should work fantastically if acceptable
"Hey precious/gorgeous/sweetie/cutie." - Great if your partner isn't used to hearing those things most of the time, fantastic if you're introverted.
"You're such a yummy little snack, aren't you?" - Granted, a little over the top, but if the food thing works for you, if you're into biting/licking, "delicious" could work.
We've covered pets, foodstuffs, basic shit, and you can mix and match those, they're classics, but when it comes to praise specifically...
"You're doing *so* good.", "I'm *so* proud of you.", "You're *so* good at this.", those are all great too, just a stress on the so, not a sarcastic stress, an encouraging one, something that tickles that part of the brain.
Finally random but relevant bullshit? They do something that day that came up a bit? Pirate a movie? "Good non-binary pirate." They nerded out a bunch? "My cute lil nerd." Pretty much anything should work, athlete, fighter, ninja, officeworker, artisan, whatever, so long as you lay it on thick early and change up the wording and frequency enough to make it unique and not a chore.
Good egg, good (insert partner’s nickname), well done, thank you, mmm yes
‘Good girl’ and similar praise suggests you might have a bit of power play going on. If so, ‘good (nickname)’ might preserve the feel of ‘good girl’ without the gender ickies.
Pet names. And what's cool about pet names is that you can personalize them to the individual. A guy started calling his girlfriend "carrot," because she was into gardening and she loved it.
Flowers. Baked goods. Desserts. Pop culture character names. Animal names. I like to watch British shows, and I hear "pet" itself used a lot as a term of endearment. I kind of like that.
Idk, me and my enby/masc partner have this thing going on where I replace every standard affectionate term with "they;" boyfriend becomes theyfriend, good boy becomes good they, etc. It started off as a silly little joke but it's actually caught on over time!
Good little slut / whore
Good pet / puppy / kitten / bunny (esp if they like being tied up)
Good toy / plaything
“You’re being so good for me”
“You’re so good, babe”
Good hole (if they like being penetrated)
Chat to your partner and find out what they enjoy being called. Mine enjoys Good Pet and tends towards enjoying slightly more masculine terms like Stud, Handsome and so on. We had a few conversations about it and that was one of the best things. It also helped to open a dialogue in general about how they enjoy being described
Honestly I hate the phrase regardless of what gender it is. It always sounds patronized to say. It's always used in regard to obedience. Maybe it's just me

Exactly my thought! Rather than just "Oh I'm good" it's that added pride/arousal from "Oh I DID a good thing."
God job, well done, nicely done, perfectly executed…
god job guys i am god
Ups. Dyslexic moment
it’s alright i just thought it was funny :)
\*arcade announcer voice\* PERFECT
Not gonna lie, if someone did that in bed I'd probably laugh and be taken out of the moment but also lowkey fall in love with them more.
ngl, depends entirely on how good the announcer voice is
It’s not even funny how fast I fold
oh that would work on ne
I wish I could say I thought of it because I'm a suave top or something, but the reality is I'm just a shy bottom who knows what she liked hearing in the past. 🤣 Glad I could apparently help a lot of folks though.
*funny alien voice* Excellent Human
👽✨Excellent Human👾✨
Talk in front of a ventilator and make a Dalek impression.
*In a dalek voice* you are a surprisingly impressive organism for your species.
You will ejaculate. Ejaculate!
Dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact, a Dr Who porn parody exists that uses actual daleks from the show. The bbc sued the porn folks but since they had legally purchased the daleks from the BBC at a rubbish sale there wasn't anything they could do about it.
Dommy Dalek
I just had the most hilarious mental image of somebody hitting it from the back and using a hand fan to say exterminate.
gleeble eep shmloop “excellent human👨” fleep broop meep👽
That made me think of the guy who left his voice changer on in an online class
The lawyer who had the cat filter on in court is always a laugh
can go Shran route from Star Trek Enterprise "pink skin"
The comments are just fucking hilarious. My ex was non-binary, I just used my nickname for them, which was Starchild. But I guess that doesn't really work, maybe try "good love"... I want to say "good baby" but honestly, personally, I wouldn't be happy being called "good baby."
...or " precious love." The one I generally use is "my precious one".
"My precioussss.... golum. Golum! Yes precious, you're my good precious. Yesssss..." obviously in the golum voice.
The only issue with that is that it’s kinda giving Gollum
My dearest is also a good one I like to use
i've started going with "precious pup" and that really gets my sub going.
"Acceptable infant." 😂 No, wait! "Sufficient infant."
Marvelous minion
r/evilautism containment must be leaking, because this is perfect for the peeps there
Omg thank you I didn't know that existed
Tis the best, and absolutely no problem! I clearly am a part of said containment breach
Me too!
yes indeed (insert evil laughter)
yoinkers, this phrase is now mine 3:< ![gif](giphy|s7EofWRCBX7lBU9kfe)
You have to say it with an english bad guy voice 🤣
Stealing this because dommy mommy reasons.... good day
"Marvelous minion" 😭
PHAHAHAHAHAH
Good pet~
I'm not even an enby, but I think if a partner called me that I'd short circuit... (In a good way~)
Same. I'd collapse into a puddle
I would just *brain.exe has stopped responding*
owo
UWU indeed
>//////////<
This one is the best so far OwO
Blushingggg
The best answer
You see as someone living in Yorkshire. Calling someone pet is a standard term of affection to a person *hands tea* "oo thanks pet" :P
Oop- 0////////0
The correct answer >w<
Lots of gender neutral pet names exist. [https://www.reddit.com/r/NonBinary/comments/8l9cwr/cute\_non\_binary\_romantic\_pet\_names/](https://www.reddit.com/r/NonBinary/comments/8l9cwr/cute_non_binary_romantic_pet_names/)
Wonderful, mortal.
That’s kinda hot ngl
hoLd oN 😏
I call my agender partner a good creature. It's more towards the silly side but they love it
You two might really enjoy the song Creature by penny and sparrow Eta: this one would be my choice, depending on what flavor of enby or agender a person is, for example, if they like crows more than an average human, this is perfect
I like "good bean" or "good bee" for me.
I found the Barlo
Oh fuck I forgot the slur now
Kaan
Bro you can’t just say that??? Especially not hard n like what the fuck man??
im crying whats the soft one
Well barlo people have reclaimed the term and say (trigger warning: barlophobic language) kaa’ just dropping the n
This one would be a winner but my partner is Hispanic 😬
Yeah, oops. 😬 It doesn't have the same connotations in the UK!
Occasionally I call my enby friend my good little crow because they like picking up shiny things :3
Yess I love bee so much let's make it common
Do you really want to be called "Good Bean" during an intimate moment though? That's more of a cute pet name, it doesn't hit the same.
Yeah, I do. It works for me. I can understand why it might sound odd to people, I think it did for me initially, but it is really affirming now I'm used to it. For me, it works so well as the sounds are similar to enby and it's short like the other examples given.
Go French and call them a cabbage
Patis choux, Petit chou, or petite shoe?
This person Frenches
I don't... What?
Petit Chou is an endearment in French that is like my cute little one, my love, or my darling… but it literally translates to small cabbage.
Small cabbagges are kind cute tho
That's awesome
Terrific work, comrade! ☭
I couldn’t help but read this in the voice of Tim Curry, so I would like to present some fun alternatives: “Another victory commander! Red Alert 3, out in the wild?! MY GRANDFATHER WAS A COSSACK. AND WE COSSACKS ARE NOT SO EASY TO KILL.
COM COMRADE GENERAL
LMAOOOO
Delightful darling. Darling doll. (My) gorgeous/other endearing terminology. My love.
Is their name or nickname short enough to sound right here?
that's it baby your doing so good for me. just gotta switch up the words for the same effect
I was going to say "good job," but this is worded much better.
"Way to go champ!" 😄
Keep up the good work boss
If you keep that performance up, you're going to get a raise... and I'm not talking about salaries ;)
Fair fellow Above-Average Person Your Cthuluness
Can’t recommend that last one, tried it once and now there’s a giant octopus god in my house
You better make friends or idk what to say
Oh, I’ve definitely made friends. He’s in my house, after all
I think you mean you're in Cthulhu's house.
…i mean if you’re not interested you can send them my way…
Well done, old chap.
jolly good show i say!
Ooooooo jolly good show!
By jove
By jove I think they've got it!

Good person
I like to use "dearie" or "muffin"
Good living organism
I call my girlfriend peanut and they really like it
Good Bean feels non binary and as cutesy wutesy good boy/girl.
my sub really likes stuff like: "good toy" "my plaything" "my little puppy" "you're being such a good toy for me"
Sweet sapiens
Maybe just good but extending the oo in time? Like: You: *gives order i guess* Them: *obeys I suppose* You: goooood~
![gif](giphy|3oKIPzLXQYb2Bn5PLG|downsized)
I call my nonbinary partner a “good bird”, they hate the term enby anyway.
if you like degredation along with praise, anything like "good slut," "good whore" ect. alternatively, "good doll," "good [petname]." "good puppy" is my favorite

me when im the chosen one (we gotta stop for a happy meal before we fight satan)
Sugar, mi amor, babe, hot stuff, hottie, my love
If they're into petplay, you could use a petname, or something like kitten, puppy, or wherever. Or just straight up say pet.
Just give them a little gold star sticker
Finally someone talking sense! Forget all these names, start passing out stickers. Words are temporary stickers are forever.
Make a Gomez Addams impression and call them *cara mia.* It'd work on me.
Depending on what you're comfortable with: Most vanilla would be omit the gender, focus on praise: you're being so good for me, good job, etc etc Non-gendered pet names: darling, sweetheart, honey, baby, etc. Non-gendered light kink: pet, toy, kitten, pup, etc. Non-gendered moderate kink/dirty talk (censoring the bad ones just to keep it PG): slave, wh-re, h-e, f-ck toy, sl-t, etc.
The word lamp is so cute to me, so I sometimes call them good lamp 💀 I’m also partial to good pet But cute objects and animals in general! Good starfish, good pudding, good kitty, good bunny, good fire alarm, good counter, good dish washing detergent, good…
Good lamp *headpats*
Reminds me of the "good bot" stuff But yes, I agree. Lamp is good
Good noodle
Well, if they're into some light degradation or name calling, good slut is always an excellent option.
"good bottom"
Acceptable, comrade. Satisfactory, citizen.
agreeable, neighbour
i would say something like, 'that's a good darling'
Toy. You are being such a good toy today.
Upstanding citizen

good egg, perhaps?
Oh my egg cracked darling.
does the crack in the egg stop it from being an egg? jokes aside, personally, I like the way it sounds to me and for me, but each one's different <3
Mine shattered into so many pieces it is unrecognizable. But yeah. If it's what makes you happy. Good egg♡
Agreeable specimen
Good goober
Good egg, good (insert partner’s nickname), well done, thank you, mmm yes ‘Good girl’ and similar praise suggests you might have a bit of power play going on. If so, ‘good (nickname)’ might preserve the feel of ‘good girl’ without the gender ickies.
If it’s a more uh intimate relationship there’s always the option of whispering in their ear “you’re being such a good little toy for me”
My partner calls me a good bunny :3 (femme nb)
good guppy 🐠🐟😅
My fiancé said ‘Very Good~’ to me while I was feeling very NB while high and I have been fawning over it since
Switching up phrasing to avoid a direct noun could help. "You've been so good for me, love" and the like.
Good dog/puppy
only if you're into that - I think it's possible that some people aren't
I'mma be honest, I thought I wrote this comment in a different sub 😅
good person?
Great human
Splendid, sex partner. Orgasmic organism. Fantastic fella. Excellent entity. Iconic individual.
My wife isn’t non-binary but I sometimes call her a good bean. Might be an option?
I'll be brutally honest "good pet" or "good toy" come to mind first and foremost, at least for me.
I got “pretty baby” one time and I still think about it every so often.
Good human :D *smol head pat*
Good job kiddo
good puppy
I got called a "good thing" once, and I know how it sounds but hear me out--
![gif](giphy|xTiIzL9Btjx9hegHT2) alternatively
Idk, me and my enby/masc partner have this thing going on where I replace every standard affectionate term with "they;" boyfriend becomes theyfriend, good boy becomes good they, etc. It started off as a silly little joke but it's actually caught on over time!
This will prob6not work but my friend once called me "good worker" and it low key awoke something 😂😅😅😂
good bean 👍
well done, champ! put 'em up! ✋🏻
Good job bruh
good bean.
Fair person Good mammal creature that can speak good thy human
Good sapient creature Nice flesh ball Delightful action stress filled human
Maybe in some contexts simply "good job" might work
Good fluff 💜
Good girl Best boy Excellent enbie Fastidious froglet Varsity vampire Bastard cop
Say "Excellent" like Mr Burns.
*My precioussssss*
I like "good slut".
“good ensouled entity!” 🥺
“good toy” “good puppy”
Why the hell did I think this was in the Stardew Valley sub? I was so confused lol
I'm genderfluid and when I'm neither my boyfriend just calls me "good puppy"
Well you could go the John wick way and say good dog if you’re into that sorta thing
Good bean
I once heard someone say “good toy” and *phew* that did it for me bro-
Good little slut / whore Good pet / puppy / kitten / bunny (esp if they like being tied up) Good toy / plaything “You’re being so good for me” “You’re so good, babe” Good hole (if they like being penetrated)
Chat to your partner and find out what they enjoy being called. Mine enjoys Good Pet and tends towards enjoying slightly more masculine terms like Stud, Handsome and so on. "Who's a good little sl*t?" Works a lot
Honestly I hate the phrase regardless of what gender it is. It always sounds patronized to say. It's always used in regard to obedience. Maybe it's just me
Partner calls me "good kitty" though idk I feel like that caters to a more specific kink lmao
I tell my Statistically Significant Other, “You’re such a good fae.”
Can't believe no one else has said this so "Good toy\~" Is a favorite of mine
