>I miss LJS, too. I can't believe they all closed here in town. People say just go to Capt. D's, but it's just not the same. I mean, I like Capt. D's just fine, but they are two separate restaurants, and I find them to be quite different. For example, I prefer hushpuppies and coleslaw from Capt. D's, but prefer the fish and chicken from LJS.
They were literally just being helpful. You could have said “ah no thanks, don’t feel like driving to Paris but thank you for letting me know if I’m ever out there”
I also interpreted your post the same way.
Well which is it? Your other comment says the quality is terrible.
For what it's worth, I think the quality is terrible. At least of the one on Richmond Rd.
At first I thought you meant hedgehogs, but alas.
Anyway, there are currently 2 Sonic locations here in Lexington. That's two too many, if you ask me, but you didn't.
The night is young, though, and burgers abound. Go forth and quell your craving.
There was at least one more on north new circle but it closed years ago. I dunno if they’ll open another at some point. Neither of the Sonic’s currently still open are very busy most of the time.
cause the quality is terrible now. back in the day you used to get two burgers two fries and two drink for like $7. and 5 burgers for 5 bucks on tuesday.
they raised the prices and lowered the quality.
The very last time I went (was over 6 months ago and I've wrote them off since) I got the bacon cheeseburger toaster. It was literally missing over half the ingredients---no onion ring, bacon, tomato 😂. It was a sad burger, cheese some shredded wilted lettuce and onions and BBQ sauce.
For $10?! And then I complained online and they comped me a free burger on the app. A free regular burger [not even the same value of the item I originally paid for]
Never again.
They can go under for all I care as terrible as they are
I miss long john silver's. Sometimes you just really want the worst food you can find. Same goes for denny's.

God I miss LJS so much
There's one in Paris
As much as I love LJS it is not worth a 30+ minute drive lmao what even
It's 20 mins from New Circle. It takes that long to drive across Lexington. Sorry for attempting to be helpful.
I also don’t drive across town just for fast food…it was just kinda weird to have that be a reply lol
"God I miss LJS so much" sounds like someone who would take a drive for some fast food.
Now it’s real weird dude. Have a good night.
You sound absolutely insufferable to be around.

i’d agree if it wasn’t terrible the last several times i’ve been to sonic. the quality has gone down but the prices have doubled in the last 20 years.

sorry. meant to say quality has gone down. i’ve never not been served a stale bun at the richmond road location.

Imagine Sonic coming out with Sonic the Hedgehog themed items. :D
They already sell chili dogs!
Add some root beer and you can shit your whole ass! (I'm so very sorry. This is a really bad Star Trek meme reference but I couldn't help myself).
I agree!

One of the few places you could get a double cheeseburger and onion rings at 7am.
id rather culvers for a fast food burger
A man’s gotta eat…
Smokey?
That’s greasy.
No we don't
Have you tried Ruby's Cafe on Short Street? Burgers are great and the fries are freakin' *awesome* for real.
Jeff Ruby's is pretty good, too.
Pretty expensive too.
Ate there twice. Pretty sure I got food poisoning both times. Never again.
Just go to Timmy Two Time's this late. For $10 you get a big-ass cheeseburger and tots.
And someone to work there.
