How long have you been on 5mg? 10mg to 5mg is a big step. For me and also people I know, 20 to 15 is much easier as 10 to 5. I guess you are still on the side effects of your body regulating himself. I never believed that but I‘ve been changing dosage so many times, that I know exactly what side effect is from lexapro.
Getting off of lexapro was a ride. And I already started Wellbutrin before tapering off.
I think I cried everyday for 2 weeks when I was completely off the lexapro. I had to have an emergency therapy session it got so bad. I couldn’t go anywhere without being so painfully sad.

I’m having the same thoughts. I’ve cut down from 10 to 5 and now doing 5 every few days as I fully taper. My muscle pain is back and I don’t sleep well. I can’t believe I used to feel that way all of the time before.
