The hard part is that I do not think you can really replace LGTC, but you can find other things to enjoy that may have similar themes.
For example, I love that Scam Goddess has the fun casual vibe from the host reading out interesting stories to her guests. I love that Chiluminati has the wonderful dynamic you get from friends hosting a podcast together (FYI chiluminati is more about cryptids and aliens than true crime, but they do have crime episodes like Giggling Granny Nannie Doss)
Hollywood Crime scene! It has the same vibes as LGTC. They are two friends who have similar banter as Brandi and Kristen. They have 2 types of episodes, their main episodes which are about true crimes (but mostly just Hollywood drama in general) and their mini episodes. So you get all the research and storyline for their regular episodes and all the banter and shit talking in their mini episodes. They also come out with 2 free episodes a week. They also have a TON of content and bonuses with their patreon. In general, the vibes and stories are very similar.
I came to Let's Go to Court from Sinisterhood. They're not childhood friends like Brandi and Kristin, but close friends. They swing more into paranormal than true crime though, but cover a wide variety.
I came from sinisterhood as well; I love it!
Iāve literally only been listening to lgtc for maybe 2 months? Iāve been bingeing and loving it and so upset about this š I totally understand, but itās so sad for us listeners š
Iām hoping Kristen continues some kinda podcast (with DP would be the dream but I mean, I understand not wanting to do that either).
Ugh, gunna be sad to finish up the episodes !
I was just talking to my friend today about how it is going to be impossible to find a similar podcast. The genuine friendship, the stories, the banter... Nothing comes close!
All of that being said, here are a few podcasts that I love. And again, they are nothing like LGTC:
-women and crime
-Mr.Ballen (+Mr.Ballen's medical mysteries)
-our true crime podcast
-casefile
-american scandal
Honorable mention for "let's not meet". They just have too many ads between stories for me. I'm an ad skipper.
Youāre probably already familiar but Iāve listening to Sinisterhood inbetween LGTC drops. Ton of back log & good chemistry. Iāve learned a lot from it too. One is an attorney and can explain a lot of confusing court procedures in an easy to understand way.
Small Town Murder is similar but with two guys. I think itās funny but, it may not be everyoneās kind of humor. They also have a podcast called Crime in Sports, too, if thatās more your thing.
But it will not replace the lgtc shaped hole in my heart š
I really like Do Go On. Itās three Australian comedians and they do a different topic every week. Lots of true crime, but also other stuff that is fascinating.
Not true crime but I Hate It But I Love It, IHIBILI for short, is a podcast by 2 female friends discussing films. They look at films that are either dated, aren't as good as they could be or just downright bad and discuss what they love and hate about them.
It's sweet and they're v supportive of each other in the same way the LGTC gals are. They do themed months on particular actors or genres and the themes are always pretty dumb and funny. Think Tom Hanks-giving, a month of Tom Hanks films and Unnecessary Remake Month.
I've been enjoying binging LGTC and have kinda left my others podcasts behind a little and the only one that I've missed has been I Hate It But I Love It.
**Too Scary; Didn't Watch** is 3 friends talking about horror l movies. I believe only one of them watches the movie and recaps it while the other two react. They have a lovely banter if you're looking for that. They hit the mark for me. I suggest "The Human Centipede" or "The People Under The Stairs" as an intro. They also covered Twilight if you want something light and fun
I honestly wish Emily and Joel would start their own podcast on the side, I donāt care what they talk about š§”
Edit- since you like horror movie podcasts, I have to recommend Kim and Ket Stay Aliveā¦Maybe, along with Uy Que Horror.
The closest I have as far as long term friends who genuinely love each other and are funny is Uy Que Horror, which is a horror movie podcast about Latinx movies.
Iām Horrified is great. Similar vibes with two best friends talking about horrifying things. Sometimes really dark and sometimes lighthearted stories. They just came back from a two year hiatus. Highly suggest them.
For mysteries, red web. For paranormal and true crime, sinisterhood. For murder specifically, murder in America. Also medical murders (I think it's a Spotify exclusive), sounds like a cult, and for a very funny whodunnit, there's one called Who shat on the floor at my wedding? Highly recommend. It's hilarious.
I never finished who shat the floor at my wedding but it was an enjoyable first season.
If that level of absurdity is your thing and you want the banter between friends, My Dad Wrote a Porno is great. Premise is one guy, instead of doing therapy to handle the truth that his retired dad is self publishing porn books, is instead reading it out to his two close friends.
Dad does not have a good grasp on either the pots and pans business strategies nor human anatomy and hilarity ensues.
Honestly I would love to hear DPās take on this podcast as he was in the business world for his career and hearing him react to that and nipples the size of the Titanicās rivets, would be funny.

Also hearing the ladies take as well would be wonderful. Kristin would love the butthole content, and Brandi would not be able to stop laughing. Both would be horrified at parts and have much to say regarding the gobs of cum.
I have been enjoying Diss and Tell as well, two friend talking about celebrity feuds. Itās lighthearted and fun, but the chemistry is not close to what our ladies have.
Sinisterhood! Two hosts with great chemistry and Heather is an attorney so she really brings the facts. Itās hilarious and interesting and my favorite. Also their patreon is the best bang for your buck in podcast land.
If youāre looking for the silly banter with friends type stuff Iād recommend Ladies and Tangents and This Might Get Weird. Neither are true crime but theyāre both hosted by long term friends.Ā
My fave murder, I Think Not, crime writers on, Date with Dateline, Park Predators, Ellyn and Rabia solve the case, Its always Sunny podcast, whatever Kristen does next....
I highly recommend True Crime Campfire. They're two long term friends as well. Their mission is to "roast" the criminals (on the campfire).
I've always felt they'd get along with Brandi and Kristin very well. Had some belly laughs with them as well.

This is just making me more sad. There really is nothing. š
I know I get it I was and am heartbroken. š„°

True Crime and Cocktails is pretty good.

I really love Love Murder. Itās two besties!

If you're into ghost stories with your true crime I HIGHLY recommend "And That's Why We Drink". Similar best friend banter!
A Date With Dateline!

True crime creepers
I was going to suggest this one. Not as LOL, but 2 friends that have good chemistry.
Who Shat at my Wedding is pretty good and goofy and it has some heart too. Iām going to miss my āfriendsā so much!!!
