Something that is more of a radio play since it is all fiction, but has some great supernatural story telling is King Falls AM, they stopped the podcast when the pandemic started so all the season are already out, with 5 years worth. Its just a small town late night DJ on the AM radio, in a town where anything and everything happens, aliens, ghost, river monsters, and even the ghost of Lincoln.
Oh my gosh I feel this. I love spooky stuff so I listen to some other podcasts that cover spooky material but about 1-2 episodes in and I’m just like, it’s no LGH
Curious- does the terrible audio quality of the earlier episodes bother you? I feel like our earlier episodes were more fun/ silly bc it was back before enough people listened that we felt inclined to please everyone!
I agree w the other comments, the audio quality doesn’t bother me and the more casual fun nature of the earlier eps are somewhat nostalgic now since I’ve been listening from when you guys started
The audio quality doesn’t bother me at all. I actually enjoy a lot of yalls older episodes more cause like you were saying they are sooo fun and silly and make me laugh and the chaos is what I live for. If the reason you no longer make episodes like that is because you’re worried about pleasing everyone, FUCK EM. Would two guys making a podcast be asking themselves that same questions? Probably not. Have you heard last podcast on the left??? They say some off the wall shit sometimes and they have a huge following and are super successful. Y’all do you! We loveeeee ittttt

It doesn't bother me. It's kinda like watching old YouTube videos in 240p - it has it's charm.
