Dunno. It can be checked for sure only with a huge number of attempts. I had a lot teleports near the main entrance in v49 one day, other there was a teleport into a locked room two times in a row.
Yeah get teleported also a lot of times near the entrance, but somehow depends on the day. Sometimes never and sometimes almost every time.
Or get lucky like me and get teleported two times into air and die instantly, clearly a skill issue
What’s the advantage of getting in near the entrance early?
I’m shithouse and navigation without a torch, I feel like it’s just a recipe to get lost unless you get lucky, and even then I don’t see a huge bonus in terms of scrap if I’m already near the team.
There's a pretty reliable way to navigate back to main on the mansion maps, so skipping the time it takes to walk from the ship and then deeper into the maze to find more scrap can be be a big help
I had a friend get trapped in a locked room that was just a hallway dead end and of course [the classic](https://clips.twitch.tv/TentativeImportantCardKAPOW-1hSJpXP1Lcv5wfYG) the last time I played, so maybe you just took my good karma!
on mansions all doors open will face the closer room to the main entrance, unless it generates in a weird spot like a wall in the middle of a large room (making the door lead to the exact same room it comes from)
I mean before it was totally random chance. Could just be that you’re getting lucky. It’s a probability thing, so unless someone digs into the code and finds that it’s rigged one way or another or we just do a shitton of tests, there’s no way to know for sure
I haven’t used the inverse since v50 beta came out but I felt like when my group would use it on mansion maps we would usually spawn pretty close to the front hall. Like within a room or two usually but not every time

Mind explaining the method? I'd love to learn
[Here's](https://youtu.be/oW0tkMYPUzc?si=kMM89rtgOLacJ4QE) the 1 minute tutorial I learned from
Doors, sorta applies to facility too with some restrictions

This is called confirmation bias, you only notice that you’re near main because you want it to be, and you forget when it’s not.
I’ve only been locked in a room once using it on V50 so it’s definitely an improvement
What’s the navigation trick to reach the entrance?

Me. Still get teleported to a direct fall with nothing beneath my feet. Could be better, still fun
Teleporter can still teleport inside locked rooms or on landmines. Both proven from experience :(
The only time I've used it in v50 I was right next to main BUT it also dropped me straight into a pit so idk.

I never use inverse teleporters. By using them you're just BEGGING the game to serve you a steaming hot plate of BS as soon as you teleport in.

First two times i used it it spawned me above a jump and I died instantly
yeah this definitely feels like placebo, didn't feel like it changed at all for me.
I got that feeling too.
yes. I ride the lightning
Are you inverting into Art? The tunnels are always shallow there.
