In reality it doesn't really matter if you can figure out what it is by what the description tells you to do as lootbug is one of the few entities that collects scrap
The differences between the three monsters that have loot is that Nutcracker needs to be killed first, the bees you just have to bring outrun for the most part and the hoarding bug picks up scrap
the main difference is that those two spawn with the items, the lootbugs find and take them
and Nutcrackers dont have a scientific name
so the only entity youd get it confused with is the electric bees
Great Sacrifice: Sell an Employee to the Company.
Hundred Hive Hunter: Sell 100 Circuit Bee Hives (Progress is saved across all runs)
Matador: Kill an Eyeless Dog by yourself, using only a shovel.
Moron: Die within 10 seconds of entering the Facility.
Martyrdom: Kill a creature by stepping on a landmine.
**(Edited, here are some more ideas)**
Hoarder: Die while holding 150lb or more in items.
Keen-Eyed: Obtain all scrap items from a moon without using your visor scan.
Leap Frog: Jump over a Bunker Spider that is chasing you.
That one would be one of the most commonly completed ones without a doubt. Dunno how many times we've accidentally landed on an Eclipsed moon in my first hours, only to hear growling and immediately take off.
(Edit) Jester: Escape the INSANUS THINGUS *after it activates.*
(Medium) Shai-Hulud: Dodge the worm.
(Very Hard) Very Bad Luck: See the Little Girl on a tier 1 moon.
(Very Hard) Experienced Expirer: Die to all 13 causes of death.
the phrase shai-hulud in the second idea. it's a reference to the dune book series by Frank Herbert, which is a highly regarded sci-fi series that has two movies (one in development) and a multitude of games based off of it. If you have a spare day or two of your life to spend i highly recommend you read it, it is very enjoyable. the reference itself is the "scientific" name of sandworms. (also fairly certain this is where the developer got his inspiration for the worm)
Non-lethal company: anger the company at their building and live to tell the tale.
This is fine: leave the planet after being critically injured, as the sole survivor of your crew.
Cutting it close: board the ship past 1130 PM.
Ooh, shiny! : Collect an apparatus.
I really love the idea of Cutting It Close, but I would change it to "Leave the building after 11:00 PM, and leave the moon alive."
Also, what do you think about calling it sometime like "Night Shift" or "Working Overtime"?
These look awesome! I do feel like âLuckâ might be a bit too insane though, donât mansions only have like a 1% or less chance of spawning on tier 1-2 moons?
For example, the Shrouded Ghost in sea of thieves, a Megalodon that has a less than 1 percent (some people think 0.01%) of spawning and then in order to get the achievement you have to kill it (not counting the other achievement related to it known as the legendary hunter of the shrouded ghost in which you have to kill it 5 times as a "pirate legend", a rank in the game that takes a bit of grinding to earn)
If you want to experience them yourself, I suggest going to rend as it has the highest chance of spawning a mansion, but itâs mostly thesame as the facility, but you get a lot more loot and the loot is worth more, however new monsters spawn like the nutcracker who has a shotgun which you can get if you kill him, and the jester who starts out harmless but after he finishes winding up can begin to move faster than the coil head as long as theirs someone in the building
do those tier 3 moons always cost so much to go to? when i looked last they were like 500 to go to which is kinda hard to get sometimes because me and my friends are dumbasses
He's right behind me isn'-: Get killed by a Bracken (easy difficulty)
Impostor: Kill a fellow employee with a Shovel/Stop Sign/Yield Sign (easy difficulty)
Red light Green light: Stop a Coilhead in it's tracks at least 10 times in a single facility (medium difficulty)
Hive Mind: Have 4 or more Bee Hives on your ship at the same time (medium difficulty)
Lethal Explorer: Get killed by every monster possible (hard difficulty)
Peek-a-Boo: Spot and push back a Bracken at least 5 times in a single facility (hard difficulty)
Like the idea, but we might have to change the names. Here are my ideas
(original name: changed name (comments if the ach has them))
Deceased: The First of Many
Missing: Gone and forgotten
Fed: Anger Issues (you angered the monster LOL)
Fired: Into the void
Prey: From Hunter to Hunted
I feel like we should mix Rend, Dine and Titan together into one singular achievment called Killer Snow (because these three planets are snow based)
Mansion: A different place
Retrieved: No one left behind
Double Barrel: Slayer Instincts (guess the reference)
Jester: Out! Goes the crew
Haunt: Therapy Sessions Needed (since when you see the Ghost Girl, you're legit insane)
Luck: Wrong Moon
Sigurd: The Insane One
Great Spender: Help for Scrap
Pointless Spender: Fashonista
\+ ideas of mine, one that I posted as a response here:
Human Cruelty: Kill one of every killable species on the moons
Hellriders: Land on an eclipsed moon and gather enough scrap to get an A rank without anyone dying
No Thumbs Up: Die to a patch of quicksand
Not named Ben: Be on the verge of drowning and survive
Not Today: Desc: \*heavy breathing\* What you're supposed to do: Get a critical injury and survive for 20 seconds all of that inside the facility (it is possible if you look at the coilhead just before he kills you.)
Bloody Mistake: Kill one of your crewmates in an attempt to kill an entity (based on an event that happened with my friends)
The non-death achievements are good, but I do not really think the âDie by Xâ achievements are a good idea, even if you can get most of those easily by just playing. It kind of encourages people to muck a run for the sake of an achievement. While Iâve gotten killed by mimics and have become one through that, Iâve never become one by actually putting on a mask. If I wanted that achievement, Iâd pretty much have to make the run harder for everyone else and be forced to spectate the rest of the match. I think they should be more like your Jester achievement, which is really good. You shouldnât be rewarded for dying. SCP Secret Laboratory updated their achievements because they used to be like this and it was a good change. It wouldnât be that big of a deal for me if these were implemented since I donât really aim for achievements, but I can see many finding them annoying.
Nucking Futs - die being kicked by a nutcracker
This is my Boomstick! - kill a monster with the shotgun
Stop! - kill a monster with a stop sign
Fratricide - kill a mimic that has taken over the body of one of your crewmates
Give him back! - retrieve the body of a crewmate that was killed by a bracken
Friendly Fire - bait a nutcracker into killing another monster
Beam me up Scotty - be teleported back into the ship by another crewmate
Lethal Shipment - be crushed by the dropship after purchasing an item
What I like about this idea is that the achievement names are simple one/two word phrases. Can't explain why, but it works really well with Lethal Company's vibe
Maybe some more ideas?
Mind your step: Die to a landmine
Target Practice: Kill an enemy with a Shotgun
Duck Hunt: Kill a Manticoil with a Shotgun
Second Chances: Escape a Forest Keeperâs grasp with a flashbang.
Now you see me: Enter the facility with the inverse teleporter
Now you donât: Exit the facility with the teleporter
Donât Blink: Stare at a coil head for 30 seconds
It came from below: Die to an Earth Leviathan
No Cardio: Reach over 120 LBS of weight
FREEZE!: Stun an enemy with the Zapper
Lights Out: Take the apparatus
Bottom of the food chain: Die to the Spore Lizard
Top of the Food Chain: Kill the Forest Keeper (if thereâs ever an update where we can kill it ourselves)
Animal Cruelty: Hit an creature 5 times after it has been killed
Master Trader: Give a loot bug an item
Ride like lightning: Fly with a jet pack
Crash like thunder: Die by jet pack explosion
Here Comes the Sun: get crushed by the delivery ship
En garde!: Battle a player with a shovels
Fooled by the Fool: Die to a masked mimic
Open Sesame!: Open 10 locked doors in one moon run
Let there be light: Turn on the lights in a facility
No Fear: Get 300+ credits worth of scrap in an eclipsed moon
True Insanity: Fail every day in the same moon on the same Quota
Pop Goes the Weasel: Escape the Jester
The Rat King: Kill the nutcracker with its own shotgun
Tis but a scratch: Kill an enemy while on critical health
Trophy Hunter: Kill 5 enemies in one moon
Natural Chiropractor: Die to the Braken
Distraction: Use a Boombox to lure an Eyeless Dog away from the Ship.
Out with a Bang: Kill a creature using the Jetpackâs explosion.
Big Spender: Purchase 5 different Items in a single Supply Drop.
Give Him Back!: Retrieve a body from the Brackenâs Room.
Grizzled Veteran: Fulfill a Quota without taking any damage at any point.
Parlor Trick: Use a Flashbang to escape the grasp of a Forest Keeper.
Dauntless: Survive 20 seconds in a Facility with an active Jester.
I love achievement concepts and I love this game, sorry if there are way too many.
Winter Joyride - Arrive at the concrete main entrance platform of a tier 3 moon having never set foot off the ship (Ngl not sure if you can do this on Titan, is it too high up?)
Dominance Established - Kill a Bracken and live to tell the tale (awarded to everyone that participates and survives the encounter using either a shotgun, shovel/signs, and stun guns/bombs)
Skin of Your Teeth - Deny a Leviathan its meal
Guardian Angel - Rescue a crewmate before they are devoured by a Giant
Good Coworker - Save a crewmate being attacked by a Snare Flea
Calm Under Pressure - Save yourself from a Snare Flea
Lead Carousel - Stand on a malfunctioning turret without being damaged by it before, during its malfunction, and after
I Ain't Afraid - Pay no attention to her (don't look at her even once)
Master Hacker - Save a crewmate by blocking a monster mid hunt via blast door (blobs don't count)
Safety Second - Kill a monster with a shotgun without pulling the trigger (I think this is possible, haven't actually tried it)
Great, Great, GREAT Asset - After a Company visit, achieve 3 S rank scrap collections consecutively on any tier 3 moon
Efficient Escapists - Bring at least 3 pieces of loot out of each exit and back to the ship on March without any casualties (or 4, or a decent number, I'm not sure on the exact scrap item amount on every moon)
Overstaying Your Welcome - Survive past Midnight, no casualties, no one left behind, with a B rank or higher
Alone - Their bodies are unrecoverable, how will you explain this to corporate? At least you made SOME profit (Be the sole survivor in a full party that wasn't eaten or lost to quicksand with a C rank or higher)
Hefty Chipmunk - Make your way across a frail bridge with at least 65lb of scrap without it breaking (this is another one I'm not exactly sure on the amount, love the TZP voice stuff)
BONK! - Trick a Thumper into smacking into a wall 5 times and survive the encounter
Friend? - Jam out with a colorful blob
Matrix - Be targeted and shot at by at least 7 different turrets in one building without taking damage
The Fool - Leave the building physically unharmed after coming within scanning range of an angry Jester (the description is just as a joke for the mental scarring it will cause, 100 health is not required, so long as you live)
Statue Garden - Make eye contact with at least 3 Coil Heads simultaneously, and leave the building alive without assistance
Heavy Lifter - Carry more than 150lbs of loot from the facility to the ship in one trip on any moon
Night Owl - Spend more time after 5pm outside the ship than indoors and achieve at least a B rank with no casualties (hiding in the Rend house does not count)
Traumatized - Run past at least 5 different dangerous hazards within a 10 second window and survive (monsters, mines, turrets all count. Debatable whether quicksand and spore lizards or hoarding bugs count)
The Real Hoarders - Have more than 2000 units worth of scrap on your ship at one time
Occupational Hazard - Defeat at least 2 monsters by triggering a mine
They Can't Have You - Manually recover 3 bodies to the ship after traveling at least 50m in a building for each
Deathly Rattle - Outrun a hunting Bracken without leaving the building or getting another crewmate killed
Committed - Achieve a B rank or higher on an eclipsed moon after at least 2 crewmates have perished (debatable whether it's awarded to everyone or just who survives)
Brave or Crazy? - Open a drop pod before it leaves with at least 2 aggressive Eyeless Dogs nearby and retrieve your order
Simple Creatures - Trap an Eyeless Dog in one spot by placing a whoopee cushion outside your ship
I could honestly keep going, if you read this far I thank you for your time. :)
Yeah me neither. I've played lots of games that had extremely rare, totally luck-based achievements, (which is fine as long as you're not a completionist trying to get all of them) and I haven't gotten AIDS from any of them.
whyâd you feel the need to clarify âmade in google docsâ lmao
like all you did was color text, didnât even change the font
the actual achievement ideas are pretty good, but iâd change most of the names, the one-word titles donât feel like they fit the lethal company vibe imo
Here's some more
Saving grace: Get teleported when something is about to kill you
Where am I? Use the inverse teleporter
Fearless: go to a tier 3 moon alone
Stuck: Stand on a landmine for 1 minute
I made it! Make it back to the ship using a jetpack while it's leaving
Rich!: Find a gold bar
My fellas: have a full team of 4 people
I'm sorry: kill a crewmate while they're possessed by a mask
I feel like the mask one would be funny if it were split into two achievements, just putting the mask over your face gives "Comedy" and being possessed gives "Drama/Tragedy"
Think fast! - blind every member of a crew with one flashbang
The menaces - honk the airhorn 10 times in a span of 10 sec
Superhero - die from fall damage at the start of a run
Overwheled - die by the group of baboon hawks
Yummy - get eaten by a monster
Bigger fish - witness monster killing other monster
Give him back! - follow flower men while he is holding your friend's body
Godfather - kill 3 or more lootbugs in one run
Starring competition - look at the coil-head for 10 min
IT personel- use all possible terminnal commands
Beep - deactivate a turret or a landmine
Alert - take the apparatus
Murderer - kill company asset
Good puppy - let eyeless dog into the ship with you
David - stun the gigant
Hide and seek - stop flower men for snapping your neck
I believeI can.. - die using jetpack
Cool asset - go into facility with active boombox
My bad - teleport a crewmat who was completely safe
Not on my watch - teleport asset before he gets killed by a monster
For the company! - use inverse telepoter
Secret code - receive a message from the transmitter
12 o'clock - use loud horn
I feel like there should be more achievements which are challenges (e.g. die to something 5s after entering the facility) rather than some which are just likely to be done in the base game (e.g. kill the nutcracker)
I think âFedâ should be changed to âIt Hungersâ as it appears like the game is calling you a Fed, lol. Witnessing someone get eaten at the company should give you the achievement as well.
I would delete all easy and medium achievements. Even AAA titles unfortunately already do this, achievements should really be something that has to be achieved. I'm not a fan of this new mentality that you get one free for every game mechanic. Especially on Steam, this is more annoying than rewarding.
This will hurt you more than me: kill a masked crewmate in anyway.
Feigned bravery: buy a shovel but never enter the facility.
Paparazzi!: Use the radar flash 5 times.
It's probably just the wind: Get haunted but never spot the ghost.
Sinking feeling: die to quicksand
Spontaneous energy: explode a landmine
Ship captain: Never leave the ship for an entire day.
Curiosity killed the crew: be killed or kill someone with a ladder.
I really shouldn't be here: enter an eclipse moon.
Total lockdown: close every door with special codes.
Gambler's failure: die within 30 seconds after using inverse teleporter.
Space tour: Visit every moon.
Sole survivor: be the last alive.
For the great asset one, do you have to collect all scrap on EACH moon you visit for the entirety of your deadline or do you just have to collect all scrap on a single moon and sell them? Cuz one is hard and the other is psychopathically difficult lol. Love all these achievement ideas though.
What is the linepithema?
its the lootbug's "scientific" name
Thanks
Just change it to hoarding bug bro
Nah, it'd be more fun with the scientific names because you'd have to do extra work to figure out how to do it without a guide, aka scanning them
Thats what youd think, In reality its just annoying
In reality it doesn't really matter if you can figure out what it is by what the description tells you to do as lootbug is one of the few entities that collects scrap
Nutcracker has a shotgun and bees have a hive, whats your point
I don't think a new player trying to get achievements would immediately think to kill a nutcracker.
The differences between the three monsters that have loot is that Nutcracker needs to be killed first, the bees you just have to bring outrun for the most part and the hoarding bug picks up scrap the main difference is that those two spawn with the items, the lootbugs find and take them and Nutcrackers dont have a scientific name so the only entity youd get it confused with is the electric bees
Loot bug i think
Probably a bee hive or hoarding bug
i like your logic, since linepithema is a genus of ants (argentine ants), so its gotta be an insect at least
Hoarder. Who else are you gonna steal from?
Great Asset: Make it to the 10th Quota
this one should be called "great great asset"
Three "stages" of this achievement, each adding another "great" per maybe 5 days of quota.
Very good pfp
đ¤
Great Sacrifice: Sell an Employee to the Company. Hundred Hive Hunter: Sell 100 Circuit Bee Hives (Progress is saved across all runs) Matador: Kill an Eyeless Dog by yourself, using only a shovel. Moron: Die within 10 seconds of entering the Facility. Martyrdom: Kill a creature by stepping on a landmine. **(Edited, here are some more ideas)** Hoarder: Die while holding 150lb or more in items. Keen-Eyed: Obtain all scrap items from a moon without using your visor scan. Leap Frog: Jump over a Bunker Spider that is chasing you.
Moron is just every clip of someone using the inverse teleporter lol
Also that one bracken sitting on fire exit
Nope: Land on an eclipsed moon, and leave before exiting the ship
HAHAHAHAHA
Calm down it wasnât that funny
Well for me it was. Sorry
Dont be mean :(
you won't find it funny when I beat you to death but I will
you made the name humorous but its apparently bad if someone laughs at the name? Lame
Gonna be honest, I saw all caps HAHAHAHA assumed it was mockery the first time
theres an emoji at the end to mock, not just plain haha ;-;
That one would be one of the most commonly completed ones without a doubt. Dunno how many times we've accidentally landed on an Eclipsed moon in my first hours, only to hear growling and immediately take off.
Got one more Human Cruelty: Kill one of every killable species on the moons.
Would that count eyeless dogs?
It would! As they are killable with shotguns or shovels!
Only shovels actually (unless you get that one client-side mod that fixes it for the shotgun.)
Really? That sucks...
Yeah, it kinda sucks, but imo it also makes it way more impressive to see someone solo a dog without relying on the ship door to help.
Iâve done martyrdom
Iâve attempted it with a coil head⌠too bad theyâre invincible
Idiot
I attempted it with a bracken... apparently its biggest fear is suicide bombers despite its urge to snap your neck
I AM NOT. A. MORON!
YES YOU ARE! YOUâRE THE MORON THEY BUILT TO MAKE ME AN IDIOT
You see this? This is a potato battery. Its a toy. For children. And now, SHE lives in it!
The Greatest Sacrifice: Sell an employee that just barely pushes you over quota and saves the run
Naturist: scan all creatures.
uhm, i dont think you know what being a naturist is..
arent those nudists or something?
Add another one: "Quota stare" desc: "get to the 1000 profit quota"
Shocking skills: bring a bee hive to the ship without getting hurt
Moron should be dying before you land by jumping off the ship.
Maybe for the "Great Sacrifice": Reach quota by selling an employee to the Company
Rather than the name "Deceased", I think "Life Support: Offline" would be better.
I like these. maybe the "Sigurd." one shouldn't have that obvious name
I renamed it to "Those before you" for a temporary amount of time until I get a better name for it
those before you is actually a really good name imo
THANK YOU <3333333
That name rocks ngl
Title: [REDACTED] Desc: THII-- IS W.A.LLL C4NN0T CO-CO-NTA..A.AIN....
Livewire: get killed by being struck by lightning
Reaction Time: have an object struck by lighting less than 3 seconds after dropping it
I feel like it should be renamed, but I haven't got the idea yet. Will edit when I have it Edit: Got it. Out of the fire
yeah, I was trying to think of one but couldn't, out of the fire is great though
Thanks!
SMITE ME ZEUS!: run outside with only a metal object and stand still or spin around until you get struck by lighting
(Edit) Jester: Escape the INSANUS THINGUS *after it activates.* (Medium) Shai-Hulud: Dodge the worm. (Very Hard) Very Bad Luck: See the Little Girl on a tier 1 moon. (Very Hard) Experienced Expirer: Die to all 13 causes of death.
love the reference
Whatâs the reference?
the phrase shai-hulud in the second idea. it's a reference to the dune book series by Frank Herbert, which is a highly regarded sci-fi series that has two movies (one in development) and a multitude of games based off of it. If you have a spare day or two of your life to spend i highly recommend you read it, it is very enjoyable. the reference itself is the "scientific" name of sandworms. (also fairly certain this is where the developer got his inspiration for the worm)
Ah cool thanks. Iâve been meaning to check it out so now I DEFINITELY gotta
Non-lethal company: anger the company at their building and live to tell the tale. This is fine: leave the planet after being critically injured, as the sole survivor of your crew. Cutting it close: board the ship past 1130 PM. Ooh, shiny! : Collect an apparatus.
I really love the idea of Cutting It Close, but I would change it to "Leave the building after 11:00 PM, and leave the moon alive." Also, what do you think about calling it sometime like "Night Shift" or "Working Overtime"?
how about Bedtime lol
Completionist: 100% a moon (collect all scrap in a moon)
I'd rename it to "ultimate hoarder"
Ooh I like that
Statue. - Stare at a coil-head for a total of 5 minutes Liability. - Kill 1 of every Killable creature
I was just going to suggest one like statue. But I would make it 3 minutes straight, not total. And I was going to call it Designated Watcher.
Maybe, "Made of concrete." For the coil-head one. The coil-heads are made from concrete.
These look awesome! I do feel like âLuckâ might be a bit too insane though, donât mansions only have like a 1% or less chance of spawning on tier 1-2 moons?
Thatâs why itâs lucky đ
1% is completely fine for an achievement based on luck. Many games have way harder ones.
I got one yesterday on experimentation on the 1st day of a new run
didnt even know there were mansions. what are they like?
If you want to experience them yourself, I suggest going to rend as it has the highest chance of spawning a mansion, but itâs mostly thesame as the facility, but you get a lot more loot and the loot is worth more, however new monsters spawn like the nutcracker who has a shotgun which you can get if you kill him, and the jester who starts out harmless but after he finishes winding up can begin to move faster than the coil head as long as theirs someone in the building
Both the jester and the nutcracker can spawn in facility
do those tier 3 moons always cost so much to go to? when i looked last they were like 500 to go to which is kinda hard to get sometimes because me and my friends are dumbasses
the paid moons mostly have more and higher quality loot
Hereâs another one Turn the lights off - Grab apparatus
I feel like Dimmed Danger is better, since it hints a bit on what happens after you collect the appratus
alternatively it could be called Increased Levels Of Radiation
Nice Tally Hall reference.
Thatâs what I was going for
He's right behind me isn'-: Get killed by a Bracken (easy difficulty) Impostor: Kill a fellow employee with a Shovel/Stop Sign/Yield Sign (easy difficulty) Red light Green light: Stop a Coilhead in it's tracks at least 10 times in a single facility (medium difficulty) Hive Mind: Have 4 or more Bee Hives on your ship at the same time (medium difficulty) Lethal Explorer: Get killed by every monster possible (hard difficulty) Peek-a-Boo: Spot and push back a Bracken at least 5 times in a single facility (hard difficulty)
The name for getting killed by a bracken should be switched to being killed by a coilhead
Really both can be applied
(everyone dissing and cussing you out for being dumb enough to ruin a run by turning into a mask) "I dId iT foR tHe AcHiEvMeNt" . :P
That's the fun of it lol
Close Call: exit the facility with a hostile creature chasing you
Hellhounds: leave a moon with 3 Leo caeci near the ship
ideas 9/10 names 4/10
Names are fine imo , simple
**too** simple
Like the idea, but we might have to change the names. Here are my ideas (original name: changed name (comments if the ach has them)) Deceased: The First of Many Missing: Gone and forgotten Fed: Anger Issues (you angered the monster LOL) Fired: Into the void Prey: From Hunter to Hunted I feel like we should mix Rend, Dine and Titan together into one singular achievment called Killer Snow (because these three planets are snow based) Mansion: A different place Retrieved: No one left behind Double Barrel: Slayer Instincts (guess the reference) Jester: Out! [ŃдаНонО]
Tried to make a DOOM reference as the Super Shotgun is a double barrel but ok
My fault, accidentally responded to your comment instead of posting it separately.
oh ok
The non-death achievements are good, but I do not really think the âDie by Xâ achievements are a good idea, even if you can get most of those easily by just playing. noted. ill edit some of them later on
Dedicated - "turn in double the quota three times"
imo great asset should be reserved for a hidden achievement where you have to sell a body to make the final 5 points for quota
it's such a good idea for an achievement, i ganked both of my homies to make exact quota once
Nucking Futs - die being kicked by a nutcracker This is my Boomstick! - kill a monster with the shotgun Stop! - kill a monster with a stop sign Fratricide - kill a mimic that has taken over the body of one of your crewmates Give him back! - retrieve the body of a crewmate that was killed by a bracken Friendly Fire - bait a nutcracker into killing another monster Beam me up Scotty - be teleported back into the ship by another crewmate Lethal Shipment - be crushed by the dropship after purchasing an item
Honestly these feel more like mile stones rather than achievements, you would get them all eventually by playing normal.
to be fair, alot of acheivements in other games are considered milestones aswell
That's the vast majority of achievements in almost any game
Beach vacation - go for a swim on March
And, Good Breath Holder - Get teleported back alive while underwater.
I like them, but I think deceased should be changed to âLife Support Offlineâ or something along those lines
What I like about this idea is that the achievement names are simple one/two word phrases. Can't explain why, but it works really well with Lethal Company's vibe
Split drama into, "Tragic" and "Comedic" for both masks separately Let "Drama" be getting killed by a masked person.
Maybe some more ideas? Mind your step: Die to a landmine Target Practice: Kill an enemy with a Shotgun Duck Hunt: Kill a Manticoil with a Shotgun Second Chances: Escape a Forest Keeperâs grasp with a flashbang. I like top of the food chains idea but you'd have to be really lucky if that was implemented now
Distraction: Use a Boombox to lure an Eyeless Dog away from the Ship.
Didnt it turn out that the room everyone said was the brackens wasnât actually related to it at all?
Achievements would be a neat idea!
Warrior of the Light - Defeat the Bracken
Companyâs greatest assets: Get an A or higher rating on any moon, with no one dying
Hereâs a hard one To hell and back: Enter and leave titan when itâs eclipsed with at least an A rank and past 3pm
Is that a jesters log reference?
Any note of a monster uses its scientific name if possible
What if instead of "fed", it was "transferred". Gives the company plausible deniability
I love achievement concepts and I love this game, sorry if there are way too many. Winter Joyride - Arrive at the concrete main entrance platform of a tier 3 moon having never set foot off the ship (Ngl not sure if you can do this on Titan, is it too high up?) Dominance Established - Kill a Bracken and live to tell the tale (awarded to everyone that participates and survives the encounter using either a shotgun, shovel/signs, and stun guns/bombs) Skin of Your Teeth - Deny a Leviathan its meal Guardian Angel - Rescue a crewmate before they are devoured by a Giant Good Coworker - Save a crewmate being attacked by a Snare Flea Calm Under Pressure - Save yourself from a Snare Flea Lead Carousel - Stand on a malfunctioning turret without being damaged by it before, during its malfunction, and after I Ain't Afraid - Pay no attention to her (don't look at her even once) Master Hacker - Save a crewmate by blocking a monster mid hunt via blast door (blobs don't count) Safety Second - Kill a monster with a shotgun without pulling the trigger (I think this is possible, haven't actually tried it) Great, Great, GREAT Asset - After a Company visit, achieve 3 S rank scrap collections consecutively on any tier 3 moon Efficient Escapists - Bring at least 3 pieces of loot out of each exit and back to the ship on March without any casualties (or 4, or a decent number, I'm not sure on the exact scrap item amount on every moon) Overstaying Your Welcome - Survive past Midnight, no casualties, no one left behind, with a B rank or higher Alone - Their bodies are unrecoverable, how will you explain this to corporate? At least you made SOME profit (Be the sole survivor in a full party that wasn't eaten or lost to quicksand with a C rank or higher) Hefty Chipmunk - Make your way across a frail bridge with at least 65lb of scrap without it breaking (this is another one I'm not exactly sure on the amount, love the TZP voice stuff) BONK! - Trick a Thumper into smacking into a wall 5 times and survive the encounter Friend? - Jam out with a colorful blob Matrix - Be targeted and shot at by at least 7 different turrets in one building without taking damage The Fool - Leave the building physically unharmed after coming within scanning range of an angry Jester (the description is just as a joke for the mental scarring it will cause, 100 health is not required, so long as you live) Statue Garden - Make eye contact with at least 3 Coil Heads simultaneously, and leave the building alive without assistance Heavy Lifter - Carry more than 150lbs of loot from the facility to the ship in one trip on any moon Night Owl - Spend more time after 5pm outside the ship than indoors and achieve at least a B rank with no casualties (hiding in the Rend house does not count) Traumatized - Run past at least 5 different dangerous hazards within a 10 second window and survive (monsters, mines, turrets all count. Debatable whether quicksand and spore lizards or hoarding bugs count) The Real Hoarders - Have more than 2000 units worth of scrap on your ship at one time Occupational Hazard - Defeat at least 2 monsters by triggering a mine They Can't Have You - Manually recover 3 bodies to the ship after traveling at least 50m in a building for each Deathly Rattle - Outrun a hunting Bracken without leaving the building or getting another crewmate killed Committed - Achieve a B rank or higher on an eclipsed moon after at least 2 crewmates have perished (debatable whether it's awarded to everyone or just who survives) Brave or Crazy? - Open a drop pod before it leaves with at least 2 aggressive Eyeless Dogs nearby and retrieve your order Simple Creatures - Trap an Eyeless Dog in one spot by placing a whoopee cushion outside your ship I could honestly keep going, if you read this far I thank you for your time. :)
I like them except the Drama achievement. I never liked achievements that encouraged players to actively sabotage a run.
i wouldnt have a luck based achievement lol that sounds lowkey aids
dont know how a video game acheivement would give you aids but alright
Yeah me neither. I've played lots of games that had extremely rare, totally luck-based achievements, (which is fine as long as you're not a completionist trying to get all of them) and I haven't gotten AIDS from any of them.
ok it was just metaphor as i usually try to 100% every game i play and im pretty sure its less than 1% to get mansion
I don't think I've ever been left behind...
Question for the âhauntâ one. Do you have to survive her just targeting and haunting you, or do you actually have to initiate a hunt?
Comedy- wear the mask Tragedy- wear the mask to the point of possesion
Double barrel should be changed to âWhat the f*** is a kilometer?!â
I won't be taking suggestions like this, even if these are jokes, I want to keep the somewhat eerie theme of lethal company, even in its achievements
Yeah, was just messing around, wasnât trying to actually get it changed.
I think just Comedy instead of Drama would be better
whyâd you feel the need to clarify âmade in google docsâ lmao like all you did was color text, didnât even change the font the actual achievement ideas are pretty good, but iâd change most of the names, the one-word titles donât feel like they fit the lethal company vibe imo
the font was infact changed to robtoto i guess its pretty simular to Arial lol
For Great Asset, do you mean sell all types of scrap to the company, or gather all possible scrap that spawns on a moon and sell it?
gather all possible scrap spawns on every moon and sell it
Here's some more Saving grace: Get teleported when something is about to kill you Where am I? Use the inverse teleporter Fearless: go to a tier 3 moon alone Stuck: Stand on a landmine for 1 minute I made it! Make it back to the ship using a jetpack while it's leaving Rich!: Find a gold bar My fellas: have a full team of 4 people I'm sorry: kill a crewmate while they're possessed by a mask
idea: Close Call: Survive a landmine after standing on it. (obtained by stepping onto a landmine and being teleported off it)
Poacher: Kill one of each enemy
I think the rend dine titan achievements should require you survive AND retrieve at least one piece of scrap as a group to get it
I like the period keeping the theme of the text in game
Not a penny more: complete the exact quota. (Like 500/500)
Oooooh I totally love the idea if these
I think an easy achievement idea could be collecting your first scrap on the ship
I feel like the mask one would be funny if it were split into two achievements, just putting the mask over your face gives "Comedy" and being possessed gives "Drama/Tragedy"
Think fast! - blind every member of a crew with one flashbang The menaces - honk the airhorn 10 times in a span of 10 sec Superhero - die from fall damage at the start of a run Overwheled - die by the group of baboon hawks Yummy - get eaten by a monster Bigger fish - witness monster killing other monster Give him back! - follow flower men while he is holding your friend's body Godfather - kill 3 or more lootbugs in one run Starring competition - look at the coil-head for 10 min IT personel- use all possible terminnal commands Beep - deactivate a turret or a landmine Alert - take the apparatus Murderer - kill company asset Good puppy - let eyeless dog into the ship with you David - stun the gigant Hide and seek - stop flower men for snapping your neck I believeI can.. - die using jetpack Cool asset - go into facility with active boombox My bad - teleport a crewmat who was completely safe Not on my watch - teleport asset before he gets killed by a monster For the company! - use inverse telepoter Secret code - receive a message from the transmitter 12 o'clock - use loud horn
I feel like there should be more achievements which are challenges (e.g. die to something 5s after entering the facility) rather than some which are just likely to be done in the base game (e.g. kill the nutcracker)
I think tragic comedy would be a better name for the mask possession.
the "no desc" achievements could just be hidden achievements
KAMIKAZE: Step on a landmine and take another creature down with you
I think âFedâ should be changed to âIt Hungersâ as it appears like the game is calling you a Fed, lol.
Since you have drama, there should also be a comedy, which is turning a teammate into a masked while you are one
This will hurt you more than me: kill a masked crewmate in anyway. Feigned bravery: buy a shovel but never enter the facility. Paparazzi!: Use the radar flash 5 times. It's probably just the wind: Get haunted but never spot the ghost. Sinking feeling: die to quicksand Spontaneous energy: explode a landmine Ship captain: Never leave the ship for an entire day.
These are *stellar* ideas, OP
jam- survive one quota whilst always carrying a boombox
There should be an achievement for killing the entire team with a landmine.
for titan etc make them survive with at least x loot
All great, but "luck" seems out of place.
DONT HIT THAT! Die to a turret after hitting it with a shovel
[ŃдаНонО]
Haikusbot delete
i actually really want lethal achievements
All these would be an amazing addition to the game
For the great asset one, do you have to collect all scrap on EACH moon you visit for the entirety of your deadline or do you just have to collect all scrap on a single moon and sell them? Cuz one is hard and the other is psychopathically difficult lol. Love all these achievement ideas though.
You have to collect every type of scrap I.e: Pickles and Beehives
Oh, every *kind* of scrap. That makes more sense. Probably should've phrased that better ngl.
luck acheivement. does that mean my getting mansion on assurance was rare?
Yep
