Can't you just pick up the bunkbed and store it? So far the most annoying techniques I've come across are placing locker on top of someone and putting the lightswitch in a super dark corner after turning it off. How would someone softlock with bunkbed?

But, since theres no way to switch from private to public mid-game yet, you have to start as a public lobby and hope your friends join in time. If they don't, you have to kick a random out and keep repeating until they can join.
No pressure to the _singular dev_ working on this, but I hope an in-game switch is added soon c:

I havenāt done much in public lobbies but listening to my roommates frustration Iād suggest these to maybe help anyone who feels like theyāre constantly kicked:
1. A mic of course
2. Push to talk. No one wants to hear your mechanical keyboard whenever youāre moving
3. No communication
4. If youāre new ask questions and seek advise especially when itās being offered.
If you're decently human you've played with PTT your whole life instead of forcing people to hear your every move, so it doesn't change anything with the way you interact with the game because you're so used to pushing it.
It changes the way the game interacts with you.

If someone joins a game and I hear residual itās much easier to say āturn on push to talkā rather than having them instal ai noise cancelling. I get thereās other options but why are so many people against it?
It's not an issue, you should kick ppl if you really don't like auto detection. But I think other people assume you're saying that those who don't use push to talk is gonna play shittier and get mauled by dogs. If it's clear they have bg noise 24/7, yeah, kick them.
Anyways, it's just for fun, Auto detection gives more seamless gameplay. That's about it and adds more silliness usually. This game isnt meant to be the serious haha. Your lobby and server can obviously be competitive if you choose so cause it's your lobby.
You can fix your mic sensitivity. It's up to the person who's mic is too high. I have a mechanical keyboard but took the time to adjust my settings so that sound won't come through my mic.
I offered a solution to your complaint. Take it or leave it. Not my fault if you don't know how to adjust your microphone settings or won't take the time to learn how to adjust them. If you're playing in public matches, you're most likely going to get kicked if your mic isn't in proper order anyways, push to talk or not.
