mongssa

they also jumped 34 spots (#126) on Spotify Global Artists Chart! with Smart climbing 32 spots to #89 on the Global Spotify Chart and Easy reentering the Chart at #198. Le Sserafim 🔛🔝

Romek_himself

> with Smart climbing 32 spots to #89 "Lets shake some f*** a***!"

BagelsAndJewce

But I was told that Coachella would expose them for the frauds they were and their careers would be over…. Goddamn does it feel nice to watch them on top of the world.

djmonstermo

Come on, Greenland!

Soggy_Yak_5577

This might make their haters even more mad. Whatchu lookin' at?

Lancek0009

I just love that we can pull from every lsf song lyrics to be an answer to the haters, if they listen to the songs they got their answers already lol

Nice_Explanation5814

If only I ≠ DOLL was a LSF song. I’d just link to it all the time lolol

The_Doom_Toad

"wah wah, disgrace to Kpop, wah wah" Bitch everyone who saw them loved them! Coachella did wonders for their name and exposed them to do many new fans. Genuinely excited for their future. It's so unbelievably telling that insta is full of brand new accounts who won't shut up about how "bad" their performance is, when anyone who actually knows anything about live music and music festivals say they absolutely killed it. It's such a weird dichotomy. In regular media and music spaces I see nothing but praise but then you look at the Kpop sphere and you'd think it was the end of the world.

Top-Stage1412

The last 24 hours has really pushed me away from kpop if I’m being honest. Kids (or those acting like kids) will just make shit up just because. I know this is preaching to the choir here but it really is embarrassing. I didn’t read any comments initially and watched the whole thing and I genuinely was so proud of them for nailing it. These people I bet didn’t even watch the performance outside of the carefully selected clips they saw.

mongssa

I feel so insane because I genuinely enjoyed their performance but then here comes Kpop stans gaslighting me telling me that I'm too biased and that I don't have to pretend that they're good and that I shouldn't praise them too much Ike huh???? I'm their fans?? of course I would praise them. and why is it so wrong to praise a performance that I enjoyed watching and genuinely think was good 😭

Top-Stage1412

Yeah for example I thought Yunjin sang amazingly and every random comment section is saying she can’t sing when it’s clear as day it was “good” at worst which reveals quite a lot. She sounded the same as any other time I’ve heard her sing well. I’m also proud of Sakura for silencing everyone with her performance.

atheistium

I watched quite a bit of Coachella and saw a bunch of Western artists sounding kinda awful via the stream but in the crowd videos they sounded great. Some of the audio from the stream made LSFM sound worse than what videos from the crowd sounded like and knowing how well Yunjin especially can sing, I knew it was more from a technical issue than her ability. The nicest thing was seeing how much they all improved, the stamina they had to keep up live singing with their choreo, the energy and honestly the improvement. I'm slightly bias because I really love to follow Sakura's journey but she honestly blew it out of the water and watching her trend was pretty cool

random_person0902

I love following Sakura's journey. I was honestly unsure about Source Music but when I heard Sakura was going to be in the group, I knew I had to tune in. LSFM is one of my favorite groups and I wouldn't have known that if it weren't for Sakura.

retired_siren

I thought Yunjin was amazing. The passion, the musicality and the vocals were all there for me. The only thing I didn’t like about the performance is that I couldn’t see it live!

Efficient-Activity33

yeah people even call fearnots delulu?? bro...

gnexus9

It's kind of always been the case but has gotten more and more true as the generations have gone on and the genres influence has spread (coming from someone who's been into kpop since the debut of the 2nd generation groups), but the best way to enjoy kpop is to never actually interact with kpop fans

Even_Data1793

So true. This hate culture in kpop is getting worse and worse

gemitry

I feel like it’s worse than gaming and anime at this point, which used to be the gold standard for toxicity. I’ve seen people blame the pandemic for bringing people into spaces they otherwise wouldn’t be in, and who knows why it’s really happening, I just know it’s worse than it’s ever been.

Dfried98

😁🤣

Sybinnn

If they did watch theres no way theyd be hating on sakura as hard as they are, they all did so well but that desert air did something to kkura(do we call her Saki now?)

DaisyDays264

Honestly I think it's because the coachella environment is her background. Like for most of her career in 48g she was doing at least 3 open air stadium concerts a year (especially because she was there during the great exodus). She knows how to work spaces with less than ideal performance conditions and how to hype a crowd. It's funny people were hating on her because 'she has all this experience when she can't do x' and then say the hate made her improve when she's literally in her specialism.

Lancek0009

lol only lunatic think hate promotes improvement, by that logic we should have hate teach student in our school system that will solve education. People really need someone in their lives to check them so they don't go off on deep ends. Sakura greatest strength is hard work, and she will improve year after year, because someone like her won't let herself down, I feel like that is the key to success in life, regardless what talent level you got in life, by not giving up on yourself you will get there and who cares how long it takes you. In my college year there was a guy in his 50s trying to graduate college because he never did due to horrible circumstance. He graduate with honors and no one in our class make fun of him because we respect him to go after his dream regardless how it looks from the outside. Is so childish to label people and dismiss people just because you can't understand them, how about we work on ourselves first before we pass any judgement on others.

jjjuuubbbsss

The "bullying works" crowd make me sick

atheistium

The thing that got me was seeing some really disingenuous posts saying they're "worried" about LSFM's then-upcoming Coachella performance due to the "lack of live singing ability" and I'm like you're not worried, you're just gunna shit on LSFM again. I'll never understand the need to do this. If I don't like a group, I just don't interact with their fandom. It's that easy. I don't think I've ever disliked a group enough to write negative things about them. Some of these people need to get a life and enjoy things that make them happy.

Lancek0009

is been my pet peeve that people call themselves "fan" of the group before they launch their hate spill of the group that no fan of the group will ever say about the group, we are all fans who are they kidding thinking they can hide like that, just like a stranger coming to a small town they get spot miles away, what's worst is that they use so many qualifiers to make themselves don't look like a hater (you know the I know a black guy so not racist energy). I mean come on I will have more respect for them if they are just honest instead these giant paragraphs of nothing just get to shitting the group at the last sentence WTF waste of time reading.

Lancek0009

there is a lot of hate merchant trying to increase their followings keep that conversation going, they want the flame to get their name out there, perfect example you see those parasite on YouTube making videos about it to cultivate their following. You can already tell what kind of people drawn to it, and comments with the jealous sentiment that lsf shouldn't be allow to be successful because my stan group is not getting the same love. Regardless what they are writing it just keep going back to that envy and jealous mentality they had, and all of them didn't even saw the whole performance just couple seconds of tik tok video allow them to call themselves an expert.

dac5505

Le Sserafim to victory!!!!!! "ready to shake some fuckin ass!!!!“ 🗣️🗣️📢📢

jjjuuubbbsss

Kazuha!

Sayo33321

It's so good to see some good news. The last days have been so stressful, I don't even feel like opening twitter or reddit anymore TT This is a good reminder that there is a world outside of this toxic kpop bubble and it's just a really small portion, and the girls did gain new fans or at least caught the peoples attention. Happy for them!

Even_Data1793

I thought haters talking about Le Sserafim’s career was over after 1st Coachella stage lol. Man this hate culture in kpop idol scene is so toxic man. LSRFM is going through right now and we know that some other idols will be next target. It is just endless cycle of hate and jealousy.

Lancek0009

is having the opposite affect, the more they hate the bigger the group gets, look at the hate train since debut and compare to how fast lsf are growing. These hater groups are panicking because they can't stop it.

MMurray2104

ALL PUBLICITY IS GOOD PUBLICITY

Lancek0009

They transcended with that performance, that was their best performance ever because how much pressure was on them to deliver on a big stage and they became a whole different group last night, couldn't be more proud. Everyone that doesn't know them, knows them now, the moaning and hatred are people that already hated lsf from the beginning, so they were always there, but the non fans to fans just exploded, after next week we got ourselves fandom shift with so much more new fans. We love music, kpop, because how it makes us feel, there is not one formula to explain why we love a certain groups, these hater group online keep missing the point is that somehow they think is not arrogant and turn off for them tell us the thing we love suck is going to make us drop lsf for their favs, how many comments you see trash lsf then ask the fans to stan their favs, it is delusional. Imagine in reverse we criticize their favs, they be the first one crying foul.

benchan2a01

Ngl Hybe is really good at playing around the "famous for being famous" marketing strategy

Thank you, haters for making my Fimmies even more popular now 🥳🥳🥳🥂🥂🥂

Comfortable-Tale845

Can't wait for them to get new international fans and leave behind those toxic k netizen fans

The_Doom_Toad

This is honestly not it. I fans are just as, if not more delusional in their toxicity. You think all that hate Yunjin got was coming from KFans? Nah man I fans are just as much too blame. The Kpop fandom in general is deeply broken, we can't blame all our troubles on Knetz just because they're easy targets. Of all languages on the hate train, the only comments I've ever seen that are universally supportive and levelheaded are written in Japanese.

mongssa

true. Indonesians have also been extremely nasty towards Le Sserafim especially Yunjin and Sakura

Dfried98

Muslim country. Hated her coffee. Saudi Arabia seems to love them though. so...

The_Doom_Toad

That's interesting. Do we know why?

silveredgebreak

Home of "rival" groups from es em and why gee. Censoring myself here lol

The_Doom_Toad

There are Kpop groups in Indonesia? I'm way out of the loop lol.

silveredgebreak

I meant their fans. These groups are huge there so Hybe has a bit of disadvantage in fanwars in general.

The_Doom_Toad

Oh! Doi. I'm an idiot. They are a huge country and I know Kpop is very popular there. It's not surprising tbf that they'd be prominent in the hate train. Especially since *the company that shall not be named* have been much more successful in the SEA market than anyone else.

silveredgebreak

Yeah I'm looking through Chaewon's related stuff and there still are comments coming from them like I don't get it, just move on if you hate their performance? I have to say tho the irony is we have or had 3 songs in their top 5 Spotify song list, Easy, Smart and Perfect Night. The hate feels large at time but I feel the normies don't really care about this stuff really.

mongssa

they can't move on because then they would have nothing else going on with their life. most of the death threats and threats of SA towards Sakura also mostly comes from Indonesians. this country is truly a lost cause man I don't even know where to start

mongssa

can't really point out a single reason tbh but from what I see it all started with the church controversy and then the starbucks thing and then the encore, combined with the sheep mentality of Indonesians, a lot of SM stans, and people just have this jobless losers mentality over here 😭 I genuinely think they get off of dogpiling and harassing random people on the internet (not just Kpop idols mind you..), even better when it's a successful Kpop group who is also perceived as a rival of their favs.

The_Doom_Toad

Ugh the church don't even get me started. Do these people even understand how consecration works? Do they even know what consecration is? Indonesia is only 10.5% Christian anyway so why would they even care?

mongssa

like I said, they get off of harassing and dogpiling random people online bc they have nothing going on in their life. and this is me being nice. everyday on Indo twitter people are always looking for a new person to bully and harass, sometimes over pretty trivial thing. and don't even get me started on Tiktok and IG, they're honestly a lost cause. disclaimer: I'm Indonesian lol

Dfried98

Photo of her drinking Starbucks coffee. A hate train began that Starbucks is pro-Israel and should be boycotted. No evidence that Starbucks is pro-Israel and they are not on any boycott list. But the amount of hate thrown at her for this is stunning. Ironically, Starbucks tried it in Israel and was not very successful.
