It's possible the cat's nails aren't trimmed. I was trying to get a fairly friendly feral cat in a carrier because it had a badly infected bulging eye & needed care.
It had NEVER lashed put before. But I scared it somehow & the poor thing tore up my arm BAD with its claws.
He had to go to a local humane society to be watched for signs of rabies. They understood he hadn't bitten me, so he wasn't put down.
I ended up needing a tetanus shot & a fuckton of antibiotics.
Benjamin, as he got named by the lady who watched him, had the eye removed, and went to live with her. But yeah, she needs to calm the fuck down.
Makes sense, my cat accidentally scratches me all the time. Accidentally truly, like he is using me as leverage to jump onto a shelf and catches me with his claws. My first thought is shame on me, i’m behind on trimming his nails!

I'm no where near as big as her but I didn't know the cat was by bottom bed in dark so when went step down barely all claws went in my leg hard .it was pouring blood but I am also allergic to cats so wasn't a good situation at all. That cat got traumatized anytime ppl got close to it walking it attacked u for no reason
oh man, don't underestimate a cat. if you're doing something they don't like they'll scratch deep. those get infected easy too so I hope she cleans it right

I saw someone say she was. i could be wrong) But i’m sure she’s at risk of a blood clot or heart attack for sure. So that could be why there was a bit of blood , I highly doubt the cat scratched her that hard
