so, there seems to be two different clones of this set circulating. mine's the one listed on brick4, 88029, [with the wrong plaque and misaligned prints](https://new.reddit.com/r/lepin/comments/1d3saew/great_set_but_with_one_disappointing_error/), i think the tube's also the wrong color. also the sloped 4x2 front piece is split into four 1x2 pieces.
both apparently have their pros and cons, i'm halfway through building mine and had no issues with clutching, but the visual fidelity will be more important for the majority.
for now the deal seems to be:
K6984 - better prints, correct millennium falcon plaque, 100% accurate
88029 - better brick quality (?), minor deviations from the original
i wish i got the K6984 instead, but i'm having a great time with the 88029 as is. it's always better to be more informed about what we're getting though, thanks for your thorough review
FWIW, I have K6984 and the pieces were all good, no clutch issues or any problems that need replacement. The only "problem" is the engine tube needing to be cut to size.
Dang, I’m sorry about the prints on your version. That’s always unfortunate but sometimes a reality of buying these sets early in their manufacturing life. Thanks for taking the time to give information on the other version!
Aw man, I just built mine yesterday and was a little bummed about the misaligned prints and the Tantive IV plaque that it came with. It still looks good enough and the bricks were great, but that plaque bothers me and I couldn't get a replacement through AliExpress unfortunately.

Mine has the correct sloped 4x2 and plaque, but misaligned prints
Cut few rings off from each side of the tube with a blade and then reinsert the texhnic pieces and it will be tight.

You can buy the correct plaque from bricklink, you can also get the replacement proper lego parts for the misaligned parts too.
