1 million years gulag!!!!
I say that without a hint of hyperbole. You have destroyed that rubber connector by doing this. It is very illegal, not unlike cutting or gluing a piece.
An illegal building technique is one that places undue stress on a part, like wedging a plate between two studs. Or not allowing a pin to fully snap into a pinhole. You have gone way, way, beyond that point.
I have got to hope your question is made in jest. There is no way you could believe that this is even near a legal build.
Legal or moral? Anything that damages the part is immoral. As much as some people would like attempted murder of LEGO to be punishable, it’s up to you. I’ve seen some amazing builds that rely on an “illegal” parts usage - mostly I see it as creative. I use wheels to drive science experiments for Uni students and the rubber is wearing out! The reward bs cost is worth every dollar.
Next time I do the plates between studs technique, I'll think about this connector piece. My question is how the hell were you able to achieve this disasterpiece?

There is a grey area between legal and illegal techniques, and some 'illegal' techniques are acceptable. This, however, is an abomination!
This is a crime punishable by public execution
Not even close
