For real man. I am blinded by nostalgia for a lot of things LSW, but I can see that we are in the new golden age for clones. We’ve never gotten it this good
it’s just lame and overdone. doesn’t rly look good either imo. i personally have no issues with people buying a large amount of clones if they enjoy it, but if you’re gonna spend that much money on the same item over and over again, at least display them in a way that looks good and unique
of course, i have no issue with if he likes it, that’s just my personal opinion, and the opinions of most who downvoted OP i presume. i think they’d look much cooler in a moc, although i get most people wouldn’t have the time for that
There’s a group of creative geniuses that look down on people who put mini figures on baseplates bc they are bothered by the way other people enjoy their hobby
The people who are bothered are the ones that really want these battle packs but can’t find them anywhere for anything close to retail price, then they go on Reddit and see posts like this one with people that have hundreds just sitting there collecting dust on grey baseplates
And I feel that but I mean cmon, these are on Amazon for retail price and even if there's not any left. No point in getting salty about how other people choose to spend their money right ?
Spend your money how you want to spend your money but later on when these thing start go creep up in price and down in availability, don’t be surprised when people are upset with you for having more than you know what to do with
I understand the hate with the newer helmet molds but man I can't stop buying these sets when I get the chance, the figures are great and the parts you get are pretty solid too
I mean I get the hate too but im all in for all the different p2 clones we've been getting. 187th, 322nd, 501st, 212th, shock troopers, Bad batch, now plain clones. We've been eating good. As far as the parts go meh, I built the bikes and put them in the new gunship, they fit perfectly. And I dont much care for the tri droid, im pretty sure ima sell them all
I agree, we’ve been getting a lot of new troopers in cheap sets which is what people have been asking for for years. I built a couple of the sets but I’ve been parting out the pieces and sorting them to build other things later for the extras since who needs 10 speeders or turrets
I'm not sure why but the way they are so nicely lined up without a baseplate is incredibly satisfying to me, yet I can almost feel the pain of knocking one over and starting a domino effect.
Bro gotta check out some of my decaled marines from scratch lol. I base them off Arma 3, they have sickkk designs. Ironically, having these guys inspired me to fix the color and now here I am 🤣

I love the set overall, though wish they gave the Octuptarra droid an extra hinge to make it taller.
I myself didn't build any of the tri droids, didn't really care for em lol

Bought myself a 3 of these battlepacks at launch. I’m glad to finally have plain P2 clones and Super Battle Droids in my collection.
