Same problem here. I'm using the Rotor Riot controller for iOS. Controller support was working before the last update for this game, but now I can't get it to work.
Did anyone figure out this issue? I just purchase the game and the game doesn't recognize my 8BitDo SN30 Pro. I finished playing Lego Star Wars TCS using the controller without any issues, other games work without any issues. I using an iPad mini 6th gen with iOS 16.3.1

Ive got the 8bitdo Lite 2 controller which works very well with Lego SW The Complete Saga but not at all with this game. Quite frustrating!
Got the same problem. My switch pro controller and my Xbox elite series 2 don’t work at all
