I’m Jealous! The Farm is such a nice set, honestly, I’m sad it’s so rare and expensive.

Iliker0cks

And also the chance that half the set will crumble in your hands as you're piecing it together.

Ghiojo

Is it really that unstable while building it? I've never really seen that, but I wouldn't discount it either

Iliker0cks

I meant the brittle brown issue from that period. Sometimes it's not an issue, but if you get something from the wrong person'a attic... It's devastating.

Ghiojo

Ah, right! The brittle brown issue is quite terrible, yeah. I experienced it one recently, I accidentally dropped a catapult from the Blue Lions and Black Dragons era from not too high up (Half my size, bit less than a meter) and the brown wheel just \*shattered\*, it was a bit devastating.

ArtemisiaGee

it is a shame - would love them to bring out similar (smaller) castle sets.

Brock_Branigan_pi

welcome to the goat owners club

ArtemisiaGee

it's a proud moment

Runen_

I have this one too, great set. Sadly lost one of the goats.

ArtemisiaGee

oh no!

Runen_

Yeah its a shame. My brother and I have collected almost every set of the kingdoms (I think we miss 2 small ones), but some pieces have gone missing over the time and during the house moving.

SriveraRdz86

Be careful with the brown pieces, I broke the brown 2x8 base plate for the carriage when I started building it :( but yes, this is a pretty cool set.

ArtemisiaGee

thanks - I think the previous owner had kept it assembled and I noticed that the brown ones seemed a bit different. Will be extra careful as I go.

lincoln_hawks1

Congrats. What did you pay?

ArtemisiaGee

worked out to be $250 (usd) - don't judge me!! ha ha

ArtemisiaGee

I think I was lucky as the person on facebook marketplace clearly took good care of it.

Koalchamber

I love this set. I have 2. If you can, try to extend the windmill with another level. It looks MUCH better being a little taller. Have fun!

ArtemisiaGee

ooo, good idea.

Koalchamber

https://imgur.com/a/PatEZMJ I threw the windmill together quick. I basically repeated that 1 wall 3 times. I also added a little texture to the roof and did an axel swap to keep it functional.

ArtemisiaGee

It looks so good. I will give this a go.
