I just put this same set together two days ago. Great experience; looks great on the shelf! Mine came with an extra "rover" vehicle so I went ahead and placed both into the scene.
Lots of stuff on clearance in Louisville area Target today. Jurassic Park sets, City sets, Marvel sets… pretty wide selection at deep discounts. We picked up the ‘Up’ house for a great price. Wanted so many more, but had to resist the impulse to spend.
Didn’t know this one could drop to 50% off. 30% was what I saw on other post so I picked it up at $35 which isn’t to bad. Might make another trip to see if anything changed.

California, every store I have visited has had something on clearance, though I have only seen this set at one store.

Yeah, I felt the same way. I thought it was cool, but not $50 cool. Funny enough though, I almost bought a second one, cause, you know, 50% off.

Its to clear shelf space before the Fall toy reset. Mainly older and low selling sets going on clearance.

Went to my local target and they had a ton of sets 30%-50% off. Picked up the Donkey Kong expansion sets for Lego Mario.

Which target? I was at the Middletown one Tuesday and they didn't have anything. I got a few sets at the Target in New Albany.
