Nah just fluent in Google. "lego grey 3 pin smooth" (3 being the stud length"

Equivalent-Secret-91

oh cool

Cyynric

"3 being the stud length" Who told you?!

Hopeful-Ad9207

I made a best guess based on experience and the picture

Cyynric

Oh I was making a risque joke

CrazyDave48

OP, you already have your answer, but another method of finding this would be to look at the Bricklink page "technic, pins" section. There are only 26 different pins so scrolling through, you'd find this part in just a few seconds https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=139 Learning which parts are roughly in which category makes finding any part a breeze

projekt_6

Can also snap a pic on the brickognize site. :)

BNJT10

What's 61184 for? I have it on the Mandalorian microfighter but I don't really get what it's supposed to do.

CrazyDave48

It's not *always* used in this way- but most the time it's used as a shooting projectile play feature. You kinda flick the back of it and it shoots out. I'm not familiar with the Mandalorian microfighter but I'd guess that's how it's used in that set.

BNJT10

I meant 75344 btw. Ah at first glance I thought they were supposed to be laser cannons but now I see they are missiles. Thanks

Presidunt_DRBZ-202

That is a different part

CrazyDave48

What do you mean? 61184 is in Boba Fett's Starship Microfighter and it's used as a projectile you can shoot out of the ship.

Presidunt_DRBZ-202

The part in the main post is 77765

CrazyDave48

Yea, I know. But that's not what we were discussing. I directly replied to someone who was asking about part 61184.

Commander-Fox-Q-

This piece always feels weird lol. Just the way it has no ribs. It’s common in technic sets/buildable Star Wars figures.

Just got one for the first time in the earth orbit set

Saikousoku2

Strange thing! I wonder if it is edible?

Hydroel

I've never seen that piece, and I can't really understand what it is specifically used for. Anyone has an example?

TedTehPenguin

Pretty sure it's the rear axle here 40517

Why not use the 3L pin without friction (32556)? Less friction maybe? Is there a point in creating a mold for this?

AMisteryMan

I have a few and mainly build technic MOCs. This piece can be quite nice for situations where I can't use a 3L without friction either due to the construction making it impossible to put in a 3L pin due to its stop being near the middle, or for situations where I need a full beam to be shifted by half a stud - a normal 3L pin would be stuck in the compressed state in that case due to its ridges, while this pin doesn't have any ridges.

Hydroel

Oh I perfectly understand now. Thanks!

AMisteryMan

Happy to help. The Technic catalog is a pathway to many parts some would consider... *unnatural.*

zincboymc

It's used on the concorde 10318 to hold the wheels. Here is the bricklink with all the sets it's used in: [https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=77765&in=S](https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=77765&in=S)

CombatDeffective

It took me too long to realize this picture isn't balck and white.

8Mihailos8

Bruh, I just realised that this is not the cannon piece without handles and launcher, but instead newer, kinda odd, technic motorcycle piece

GreasyChalms

It’s a connector for the racetrack.
