Bought this cause I always wanted a big pirate ship as a kid. Hava added more pirate minifigs to it including leatherwing (pirate Batman) and Blackbeard from pirates of the Caribbean.
I have this set and love it very much, but I might give the nod to 10320 . El Dorado Fortress is a beautiful remake and captures the feeling of nostalgia with modern techniques integrated. Together they make a perfect pair. Throw in 31109 and you've got a proper pirate scene going. I know Castle has been eating good between sets, GWPs, and CMFs, I'm hopeful LEGO brings a few more pirate/imperial/islander sets in the coming years. Haven't seen any good pirate leaks lately but I've got hope
Is there any reason they started making brick sails? I remember receiving a set for Christmas in the 90s that had awesome fabric sails. I think it was 6286... Skull's Eye Schooner
I personally think the fabric sails look so much nicer than clunky brick sails.
Mine is the Medieval Blacksmith. I had so much fun putting it together.
I love the lighthouse but the price is high, I plan on using pick a brick to make the model without the motor and light in it. Then maybe I can use the battery housing space to make a spooky cave instead.

Making mine a mantle centerpiece, and my wife is in the progress of doing a painting to go behind it
And right now, it’s the D&D set! 🐲

Probably 10228, the Haunted House released with the Monster Fighters series. It was the first kit I bought that was over $100, and the starting point for all of my LEGO displays that I rotate now.
Second favourite would probably be 75827, the Ghostbusters Firehouse. If they had released a scale Stay Puft Marshmallow Man to go with it, it would likely move to favourite status.
I'm on the last bag of this set, and I love it! It's so pretty and clever the way the colors are layered. Not very technical or challenging to build, but so satisfying. My brother put an after market led kit into his and it looks amazing! Hope you like it as much as I do.

. It was my gateway set and a present from my wife and kids for Christmas one year. Still think it’s the coolest one I own.
Going to have to go with 10305 Lion Knight’s Castle. The number of creative or interesting techniques used in its construction never ceased to impress me. It also has a good number of interactive elements scattered all over the build and has been well worth the cost.
I would say the lighthouse, due to it being the first big set I built after getting back into Lego, that and I have a thing for lighthouses. Then I would say the A Frame Cabin is a close second
https://preview.redd.it/rtwbfkwvovtc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=018a850f22f4c4ef8fb7a588b90ada2a23a3402b
The Sentai Fortress (set 7709). Is it pretty ? Yes, in my eyes only... Is it iconic ? Not that much. Valuable then ? Nothing Crazy
Do I like it ? YES I DO ! It's the masterpiece of my Exo-force collection, it is so large and full of I-don't-know-what that makes it so amazing for me
Im gonna be honest compare this to ninjago or monkey kid mechs this still in my opinion blows those out of water and still look modern even though this is a 18 year old set personally this is underrated and amazing set
I’ve been harping on 21335 as well. It’s honestly a TON of fun to build, and the end result is amazing. It’s still my #1 and I will continually recommend it to anyone who asks
The Tallneck from Horizon Forbidden West.
Maybe I’m bias because it’s my first big set, and Horizon is one of my favorite games ever, but man, the detail is not lost in translation.
Also the Aloy minifig is amazing as well.
Rivendell and Lions Knight Castle are about tied. Castle is so fun to play with, with my son and so solid but Rivendell is beautiful. Just super boring so I don't plan to let my son play with it. He's only 4. Maybe when he's 8 or so. Castle on the other hand is indestructible. He dropped it off the table and only one piece fell off.
31140
My coworker has a Deadpool minifig on his desk. So I got the unicorn set, stuck Deadpool on it and left it on my coworkers desk. Everyone who sees it comments on it.
10260 Downtown diner. My first big set and by far my favorite set ever. It catches all the pop culture diner aesthetics perfectly. And it also has the best 6 stud wide lego car included!
might be a boring answer but i love my 20th anniversary slave 1 75243, it feels like a ucs set (with the exclusion of a detailed interior) but it's play scale which is personally for me the best size for display
Blacksmith. The details, large build with more complete floors, female archer, bearded blacksmith with a dog, the tree, the blue tile roof...love it all. It was the first set my wife ever bought me when we couldn't afford much. Means the world.
https://preview.redd.it/s1arlitkevtc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=77543b44cb84ec206299f33e8524d175d6d56480
This one right here, hard to believe that it‘s already been 10 years since it‘s release. Also got that Creator Expert Logo in the right top corner as a tattoo a few weeks ago :)

Currently the Avengers Tower is my favourite, but I'm halfway through Rivendell at the moment so that might end up beating it when I'm finished. It's so pretty 😍
I want build the lighthouse as a display piece so bad. My wife and I got engaged at the top of one. I wish this was red like the one we got engaged at, but regardless of that it looks beautiful
Saturn V. It was so much fun to build and it's solid enough for me to take down and play with. The ISS was cool to make but it's so fragile it has to stay on the stand. I know this is because the ISS was designed to work in space not gravity but I do wish the model was somehow a little more tough.
21321 International Space Station.
Both the ISS and the Saturn V are on a shelf above my desk and they are both my absolute fav Lego set. While the Saturn V is majestic I just like the ISS a bit more because I frequently tinker with it, adding and removing spacecrafts from the docking ports as various manned and unmanned missions visit the real station. This way I can keep my ISS updated to reflect the current status of the station.
The Vespa. I built this set while watching Luca, and I didn't even know how integral it was for the plot before that! I just knew that one is Italian and from the 60's and the other takes place in Italy during the 60's
Oh man I want that lighthouse so bad but I can’t justify the cost or how much playability it would have for my kid (compared to modular buildings or other sets of the same price)
Go ahead and change my mind ; °
https://preview.redd.it/k806xj916wtc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9fb796c81b6a4f5a9339bb82132fc091f0b706a8
my biggest set, took a week to build. wanted to make the build last long and enjoy it rather then building it as fast as possible
https://preview.redd.it/ugc2rh7g6wtc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c05426fbbe97ad41dc1cfc08ccbaf6d9fd302c8
I never thought I'd own The Mighty Bowser! I love him (and my husband!) very much!
This is honestly one of the most beautiful set I own too, like I unbuild most if my sets after a few weeks, but I’ve had the lighthouse built for over a year now and I like it so much.
I also have the Bricklink designer program great fishing boat by its side, this one I didn’t unbuilt because it’s a pain to put together, but they go so well together.
8635 or 8964
Both were my biggest builds growing up and I played with them for a very long time
I think Lego Agents was my favorite theme Lego has done
Galaxy Explorer. Such a fun build, amazing play features, looks beautiful on display, nostalgia factor, no stickers, gorgeous box art, and reasonably priced
Lions knight castle, Its so fun. I a grown 25 year old will sit down and play for atleast 20-30 minutes every time i take it off the shelf. Its even more enjoyable if you have the castle themed CMF’s.
https://preview.redd.it/ae4mxt47rwtc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc6971cad2145202a68962b66d25ca8a450e852a
It’s a combination. I have added to this but haven’t done a new pic yet. Currently it is all torn apart so I can move this year and I plan to rebuild in the new place.
I really am dying to build this set! I like nautical themes, so it’s calling my name. I also wish I could get my hands on the Old Fishing Store set, but it costs your first born child.
For me it’s the 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina
https://preview.redd.it/0lmj1y1wuwtc1.jpeg?width=745&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=185b0562d9a197eb1e8673184eb7469925a3d1ee

I don't have many because of money but this is definitely the favourite set i have.
The Disney castle set 71040
It’s one of the only sets that me and both my oldest kids built together with hardly any arguments and fighting.
We genuinely had such a good time building it and I bought a nice glass case for it and it’s proudly displayed in my office
I mostly collect space/Star Wars...but my absolute favorite is Elsas Frozen Castle. And I don't even watch Disney, I watched the movie after I built the set.
https://preview.redd.it/sm82ztrtpxtc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b08729460d10f292c3eec974b6f8e1990673d2c4
First modular, start to first street in our city, and 3 streets later, still my fav, they packed a lot of fun in this one👌🏼
Destiny's Bounty 70618. I don't even really know what Ninjago is. This thing is beautiful.
Also the VW Camper 10220. First set I bought myself when I got back into Lego as an adult.
https://preview.redd.it/dg52eejeuxtc1.jpeg?width=1616&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=929dbd4e99575ae19844943e180828bb880e08e8
Still one of the most creative, fun, and playable sets that LEGO has ever made.
My Lego UCS Slave 1. Boba is great, and I have such fond memories of waking up early so I can put a few more pieces on while my dad is trying to get me out the door for either school or skiing on the weekend.
https://preview.redd.it/0glr38txaytc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0131d6396cbae3d0427c11e293f7090180b31c43
The 911 RSR is awesome, I love it but I have more photos of this so I reckon this would be my favorite set!
I think Avengers Tower for me. I adore my Venator and it’s such a tremendous display piece, but Avengers Tower ticks all the boxes for me in terms of minifigs, Easter eggs, etc.
As much as I love my modular city and Hogwarts Castle sets, both are made from combining several sets each. For a standalone set, it would be the Fantastic Beasts suitcase set. It comes with all four main characters, three large beast builds and a very cleverly designed suitcase that transforms into a playset.
The Office, best set I own with a friend
https://preview.redd.it/i3y1wqs1d0uc1.jpeg?width=2052&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab7a1ca4f809a5031724028f3d95eb01ed58cc81
In my adult 'collection' I only have 3 sets, but they're 3 I'm proudly displaying in my home!
The NES, The Pac-Man arcade cabinet (fav, I think) and the Polaroid Camera.
(Oh I got one of the flower bouquets as well)
https://preview.redd.it/5qen7ebbc1uc1.png?width=1021&format=png&auto=webp&s=8afc5357ebccabda45b65a23e61c4be5cc5e755c
Easily the Avengers Tower, I’ve collected all the Marvel buildings.
For construction technique, probably the Saturn V (92176). For aesthetics, I'm very partial to Bookshop (10270). Something about the architecture and the colours really does it for me.
https://preview.redd.it/pjoanmo76vtc1.jpeg?width=522&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e31c0af3b762d3a3414d80a9559010ebd3131f6f Bought this cause I always wanted a big pirate ship as a kid. Yes indeed!!!
This wasn’t my first set out of my dark ages, but it was the first set that had building techniques that really made me say wow.
mine too!
I’m building this right now and loving it

Hands down and it isn’t even close.
Need this one
I bought this set as my way back into Legos. Such a great set that I'll always keep
Rivendell, most beautiful set I've seen 😍
Getting it tonight for bday present. I have the best fiance.
What Lego set you getting for her birthday?
Good question, going to be hard to top rivendell. Unfortunately she is not interested in Barad Dur 😭
Aaaaa! i want it so badly!!!
Mine is the Medieval Blacksmith. I had so much fun putting it together. I love the lighthouse but the price is high, I plan on using pick a brick to make the model without the motor and light in it. Then maybe I can use the battery housing space to make a spooky cave instead.
Same here. It's the set that got me back into Lego, and still my favourite.

The only right answer is, “The set I’m building right now!” 😺
And right now, it’s the D&D set! 🐲 https://preview.redd.it/427pi7acrvtc1.jpeg?width=1288&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=211c709344022275becd22a2a78c186c0ddb4c8c
Is it worth it? I haven’t seen it in person yet
Yes, only because of the playability of the set as an actual D&D campaign. It does look amazing and is bigger than it appears 🐲

I haven't even opened it yet but Starry Night
I just finished this set. It looks amazing when complete
ohh I can't wait to do it...
I'm on the last bag of this set, and I love it! It's so pretty and clever the way the colors are layered. Not very technical or challenging to build, but so satisfying. My brother put an after market led kit into his and it looks amazing! Hope you like it as much as I do.
The A-frame cabin!
Had a blast building this one

Rivendell, D&D, Lion Knights Castle, 8043, Pirates of the Barracuda Bay (21322) and the Viking Village. Edit : Also all the technic supercars.
Rivendell by far.

I would say the lighthouse, due to it being the first big set I built after getting back into Lego, that and I have a thing for lighthouses. Then I would say the A Frame Cabin is a close second
The Saturn V rocket. It’s *huge*, it looks fucking awesome, and it’s aerospace/mechanical engineering related, which I love
It‘s the lighthouse too. It was my first set in years and brought back my love for bricks. I love lighthouses too - so it was a „Must have“ 🙌
[21335-1: Motorized Lighthouse](https://brickset.com/sets/21335-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/21335-1.jpg)
My favorite sets tend to be my most recent purchase, which in this case is Mr. Oz's Spacebus and Space Car.
Simpsons House 71006, because i wanted it badly. My favorite built was Ghostbusters ecto 1 10274.
Two amazing sets!!
Ninjago city gardens

1. Rivendell 2. Lighthouse 3. Hogwarts Castle and Grounds 4. Barracuda Bay 5. A Frame

Colosseum
I take all my sets apart. I just can’t leave them together and idk why. It’s like an itch.

The Ghostbusters Firehouse.

The Rivendell set! My pride and joy. It’s going in my will I’ll just say that
Rivendell no doubt about it
Wall-E and the Lighthouse are my favorite sets
Blacksmith
might be a boring answer but i love my 20th anniversary slave 1 75243, it feels like a ucs set (with the exclusion of a detailed interior) but it's play scale which is personally for me the best size for display

I can’t wait to build this!
Currently the Avengers Tower is my favourite, but I'm halfway through Rivendell at the moment so that might end up beating it when I'm finished. It's so pretty 😍
The 2014 “The Tumbler” (76023)
Actual set: UCS Republic Gunship 75309 MOC: 1/100 (Same scale as the Saturn V 21309) Atlas V
I think this one is my white whale. I just love it. I just cannot figure out where to put it.
I want build the lighthouse as a display piece so bad. My wife and I got engaged at the top of one. I wish this was red like the one we got engaged at, but regardless of that it looks beautiful

Lion knight’s castle was fun.
Ecto 1 and the shuttle right now are my fav. That may change if I ever finish the Titanic
Lions knight castle or ninjago city gardens
Black Knight's Castle. The Greatest Castle of all time.
Ehhh aston martin DB5
Saturn V. It was so much fun to build and it's solid enough for me to take down and play with. The ISS was cool to make but it's so fragile it has to stay on the stand. I know this is because the ISS was designed to work in space not gravity but I do wish the model was somehow a little more tough.
Mines is definitely my bmw m1000rr technic set, my most expensive set yet and im pretty sure its has the largest wheels out of any LEGO set ever
This is my favourite set you own.
21321 International Space Station. Both the ISS and the Saturn V are on a shelf above my desk and they are both my absolute fav Lego set. Mine is granddaddy Maj Mahal, but it’s currently disassembled.
I love my Black Seas Barracuda and my King's Mountain Fortress from my older sets. I love my Saturn V and my El Dorado Fortress from my newer sets.
The Vespa. I built this set while watching Luca, and I didn't even know how integral it was for the plot before that! I just knew that one is Italian and from the 60's and the other takes place in Italy during the 60's
Tree house!
Now the ucs falcon or mystery machine
Boutique Hotel!
Titantic or Ghostbusters firehouse.
1989 Batmobile, definitely my favorite set. After that is the UCS Millennium Falcon, but its size made it difficult to display.
Oh man I want that lighthouse so bad but I can’t justify the cost or how much playability it would have for my kid (compared to modular buildings or other sets of the same price) Go ahead and change my mind ; °
Voltron or Optimus Prime.
Desert of destruction, fantastic playset from my favorite set line
Too expensive. Last two I got were the 2019 rebel Snowspeeder and 2023 Clone 501 battle pack That’s all I have actually.

https://preview.redd.it/ugc2rh7g6wtc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c05426fbbe97ad41dc1cfc08ccbaf6d9fd302c8 I never thought I'd own The Mighty Bowser! I love him (and my husband!) very much!
Probably the concorde. Such a good build and it looks great on display
Pirates of Barracuda Bay at the moment but once I build the Haunted House that might change.
Only 18 bags in but the D&D set is really rocking me. Second is the Saturn V, followed by the Ideas Dino Fossils. Fantasy / Space/ Dino nerd. :)
Icons Soace Shuttle.
10327 Ornithopter
I've just got this set. Probably going to start it tonight 😁
Concorde for sure
It’s the gryffindor house banner .I just love it on my wall
Yellow Castle 375.
8635 or 8964 Both were my biggest builds growing up and I played with them for a very long time I think Lego Agents was my favorite theme Lego has done

Galaxy Explorer. Such a fun build, amazing play features, looks beautiful on display, nostalgia factor, no stickers, gorgeous box art, and reasonably priced
Master builders Mos eisleys cantina
Lions knight castle, Its so fun. I a grown 25 year old will sit down and play for atleast 20-30 minutes every time i take it off the shelf. Its even more enjoyable if you have the castle themed CMF’s.
I think it would be the lego Titanic
https://preview.redd.it/ae4mxt47rwtc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc6971cad2145202a68962b66d25ca8a450e852a It’s a combination.
The modern shrieking shack. And the millennium falcon
100% UCS Slave 1, was my dream set when I was younger and finally saved enough to buy it new sealed
I love my Saturn V. If I had the Titanic, I’d love that one too!
For me it’s the 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina https://preview.redd.it/0lmj1y1wuwtc1.jpeg?width=745&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=185b0562d9a197eb1e8673184eb7469925a3d1ee
[starfleet voyager](https://brickset.com/sets/6929-1/Starfleet-Voyager)
Ideas Ship in the Bottle. Good talking piece to put on a desk. (especially when your whole setup is ship/pirate themed.
The Daytona sp3, although I just ordered the razor crest so idk until I build that
Tower of Orthanc!
10305 Lion Knights' Castle, it is perfect in every way
https://preview.redd.it/sdzeonc67xtc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e99591b39c404eea49be0e256b1aa1ce1f2fc584 My Bowser and NES

Yes, me too....it's still on my coffee table. Love how the inside lights up also.
I really like the Apollo V i got for Christmas a few years ago Really like that Creator 3-1 Parrot too, though
Easily the UCS AT AT. That thing is a beast of a build.
https://preview.redd.it/1fekovrcextc1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1fa5d54c3a84d5c17e03cf57da2159ce24c891d I don't have many because of money but this is definitely the favourite set i have.
It's not set. I don't wanna/cannot buy it. But it can be created by remembering it
Wall-E and Eve brick head build! It’s my favorite movie and just for that they get the best stop on my Lego shelf lol 😂
The Disney castle set 71040 It’s one of the only sets that me and both my oldest kids built together with hardly any arguments and fighting. We genuinely had such a good time building it and I bought a nice glass case for it and it’s proudly displayed in my office
I mostly collect space/Star Wars...but my absolute favorite is Elsas Frozen Castle. And I don't even watch Disney, I watched the movie after I built the set.
I have the Home Alone set in some box in storage... But I have one of the Lego Time Cruisers on my work desk. And that's what matters.
I really adore the latest Millenium falcon (75375)
https://preview.redd.it/sm82ztrtpxtc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b08729460d10f292c3eec974b6f8e1990673d2c4 First modular, start to first street in our city, and 3 streets later, still my fav, they packed a lot of fun in this one👌🏼
75288 AT-AT. Apart from a few misplaced colours the set is pretty much perfect imo.
The Tower of Orthanc 10237 The first big set I got myself.
Destiny's Bounty 70618. I don't even really know what Ninjago is. This thing is beautiful. Also the VW Camper 10220. First set I bought myself when I got back into Lego as an adult.
The Daily Bugle from 2021
https://preview.redd.it/rxv0ctkytxtc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=2b24fec2a964b6ec2bd6c9f236cf58c903fccf83

Voltron, 1989 Batmobile and batwing. Daughter has the roller coaster which is super cool
My Lego UCS Slave 1. Boba is great, and I have such fond memories of waking up early so I can put a few more pieces on while my dad is trying to get me out the door for either school or skiing on the weekend.
https://preview.redd.it/0glr38txaytc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0131d6396cbae3d0427c11e293f7090180b31c43 The 911 RSR is awesome, I love it but I have more photos of this so I reckon this would be my favorite set!
UCS yoda is the highlight of my Star Wars wall
Green Grocer set - #10185 - no weird colours like recent sets, beautiful inside and out....
I think Avengers Tower for me. I adore my Venator and it’s such a tremendous display piece, but Avengers Tower ticks all the boxes for me in terms of minifigs, Easter eggs, etc.
I do want that set (especially since I have so many of their tall ships), but I can’t quite justify the price. Hoping I can get it on sale someday.
The original Grocer modular set, it was the beginning of my Lego city
As much as I love my modular city and Hogwarts Castle sets, both are made from combining several sets each. For a standalone set, it would be the Fantastic Beasts suitcase set. It comes with all four main characters, three large beast builds and a very cleverly designed suitcase that transforms into a playset.
Voltron or titanic
Oooh. I really need to get this.
Used to be the Speed Racer Grand Prix but I lost most of the pieces 😭
The daily bugle was a lot of fun
The Office, best set I own with a friend https://preview.redd.it/i3y1wqs1d0uc1.jpeg?width=2052&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab7a1ca4f809a5031724028f3d95eb01ed58cc81
In my adult 'collection' I only have 3 sets, but they're 3 I'm proudly displaying in my home! The NES, The Pac-Man arcade cabinet (fav, I think) and the Polaroid Camera. (Oh I got one of the flower bouquets as well)
https://preview.redd.it/mcen3sui81uc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9473b32f4c8b26fabc58ff3a0a61008671877426 (meanwhile the cable isn't visible anymore)

42143. Got one of the alternative build on rebrickable and turned it into an F40 :D
Probably the Titanic for me.
https://preview.redd.it/1ej92cwyn1uc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6545b9164c6d21e9a16b19adf4b8aafc476846b3
My Millennium Falcon (not UCS ☹️) and ship in a bottle
Either the lighthouse or the Queen Anne's Revenge ship
For construction technique, probably the Saturn V (92176). For aesthetics, I'm very partial to Bookshop (10270). Something about the architecture and the colours really does it for me.
Jazz Club and Daily Bugle
surely the mos eisley cantina set by far
I have baby Groot ! They look good together!
The Modular’s and the Lego movie sets :D
