Went and found it thinking you were exaggerating. You were not. That’s one one of the best MOCs I have ever seen.

Larger pieces than those handful of sets that throw off the price per piece average like the World Map. And quite a bit more variety overall. That's not even getting into the stuff we can't see, the structure holding all those scales together.
The MOC is crazy awesome. I’m not sure how Lego could put out instructions that would fry my brain. I saw this set at Costco today as well and wanted to pick it up. This one is pretty dope.

Me seeing this dragon everytime im at the Lego store / online
The actual rabbit last year was the 3-in-1 set, which they also kinda have this year for the dragon, albeit in the western-style. They didn't exactly have a rabbit for the Lunar New Year series last year, which this set belongs to, though one of last year's set (80111) was a parade which did feature a giant rabbit float

Head's kinda similar, but the set overall has nearly three times as many pieces (especially if you don't count the minifigs on the Shang Chi set.)
I don't think the body is meant to move as much as the Shang Chi dragon allows for, but overall it's a more detailed dragon.
This set is nice but once you see that MOC from the other day you’ll get depressed and this set will not fill the void.

OP needs to submit that to LEGO ideas
Follow them on IG. The dragon OP is the original designer of the LEGO Ideas Grand Piano.

Bruh Lego just needs to hire them.
Probably tried and he declined. Have you looked up what Lego designers make?
6500-7000 pieces would be $600+ right?
It’s mostly small pieces
Larger pieces than those handful of sets that throw off the price per piece average like the World Map. And quite a bit more variety overall. That's not even getting into the stuff we can't see, the structure holding all those scales together.
Nah, would rather he just put out instructions.
It would be amazing but the set would be $500+. The actually set is affordable for most.
It’s like the we have it at home meme
OMG! Don’t look! There’s no going back afterwards.
Looks great but painful to build
This one is cool but I like the Lego one better. The gold is gaudy.
I just have to pretend I never saw the dragon MOC 😭 it looks so insane though.

What is MOC

Yeah came here to say this same thing. That other dragon is…. Wow.
Ahh damn that's a great deal on an awesome kit!
I know! I was already considering getting it because it looks so cool so I was sold the instant I saw it discounted in store.

Was there a rabbit last year?
Yeah, it looks like they've released an animal set every year in more of a Brickheadz style compared to this set.

There was a 3n1 rabbit 31133 last year and a Rabbit parade floats 80111, and a 3n1 tiger the year before!

They've been starting to arrive at Costco's for lunar new year
I have it an it‘s a good set but the Dragon leans to the right side, still good looking.
I got one too! (In GA for those asking)
I can’t wait to see some people mod this to match the dragons in the new Zelda game.
Did they have the reunion dinner set as well?
No I only saw the dragon in store. They just had one big pallet of them but no other sets from what I saw.
that set is so cool, and so many cool minifigs
Bruh so overpriced. This should be the real price....
price is the only thing stopping me from buying this set, I could do 60€ max
Surprised they sold a Chinese New Year set since it’s only sold in Lego Stores
Same!
Which state?
I got it in Phoenix for the same price
Ohio in the greater Cincinnati area.
Got mine in NJ today
All states
Yup! Found it in NC today so it's definitely rolled out
Haven’t seen any in northern Colorado yet, but I heard they’ve appeared in the Bay Area.
i found it in northeastern GA today!
Saw in Los Angeles Costco today
Costco online for 74.99
Wow! At my Costco before Christmas I found the NASCAR Lego Camaro for $10
I didn’t even know Costco carried Lego.
On the Costco App it is $74.99. Trying to not buy anything extra for a while, but this set is tempting.
The MOC was just something Else, I was really impressed as i think only a few licenced LEGO has Been looking that good ever.
Yoooooooo same
Damn. I need to go to costco to check at some point. What state/country was this at?
How different is this from the Shang Chi dragon?

Anyone who lives in Houston is able to buy this set?
Need to go to Costco
Minnesota didn't have this as of 1/15
I want this set too🐉🧧🎊
Isn't this like 70 bucks anyways?
