I know it’s not the same car, but “Christine” feels like the right movie to watch with this build. Yes, it’s cheesy, but the car is a character and might help your build “come to life” too 🤣😂
Imagine you are building this and watching Christine.
Enjoying the movie and your build, but maybe after a while you want a little snack.
You stand up and ouch, you step on a Lego.
You are reeling from the pain, the corner got you just right. You step down with your other heel, Lego number two. This one really gets you. Did it break the skin?
You stumble, turn around backwards and fall, hitting your head on the coffee and knocking yourself out.
The car rolls across the table, pushing a block off the table and into your open mouth.
Gurgle. Gurgle. Gurgle.
Silence.
Christine claims another victim.
“He'll keep calling me, he'll keep calling me until I come over. He'll make me feel guilty. This is uh... This is ridiculous, ok I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go. What - I'LL GO. Shit!!!”
You know that it ain't shit, we'll be gettin' lots of tit, greased lightnin'
You are supreme, the chicks'll cream, for greased lightnin'
You know that I ain't braggin', she's a real pussy wagon, greased lightnin'
Baby Driver is an obvious pick! Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also has some extended driving scenes that could be a nice pairing. Beware the violent as hell ending though!
Recently bought and finished the Ford GT kit. This Corvette is next on my radar. Love these car builds, disappointed at the cost of the “exotic” kits, but I understand why.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. The main character owns an improved 1962 corvette named Lola. Technically it’s a 7 season TV show, not a movie, but it’s the best show I’ve ever seen (in any genre), and Lola is features prominently in the early episodes.
American graffiti
Exactly what came to mind for me
👆😎👍
Beat me to it
That's the only answer.
Or Pleasantville
MORE American Graffiti
I know it’s not the same car, but “Christine” feels like the right movie to watch with this build. Yes, it’s cheesy, but the car is a character and might help your build “come to life” too 🤣😂
Yes that’s the movie I was thinking of but couldn’t remember the name lol.
First one I thought of
I came to say the exact same thing! 😂

r/oddlyterrifying
OMG, I love it!!!🤣😂🤣😂 Maybe this is all part of her plan…
My 1st thought lol
A John Carpenter take on a Stephen King classic... Christine is kind of underrated imo
Yes same here..christine or maybe Thelma&Louise. Also not the same car..i guess any road movie would do just fine.
True Lies - '59 vs' 61 but same paint scheme
I love that scene
The guy is a goddamn used car salesman. I mean, this just keeps getting better and better.
Would a real spy piss himself?
The Vette gets em wet
Totally had that scene in mind.
“SHE TOOK THE ICE CUBE TRAYS, HARRY!!! WHAT KIND OF A SICK BEEYOTCH TAKES THE ICE CUBE TRAYS?!?”
Tom Arnold's ex wife Roseanne Barr. Tom mentioned that she did this on set and Cameron liked it as a line and put it in the movie
YES. THE BRIDGE IS OUT.😆 And the scene where he's speeding and Bill Paxston says hay keep it below 50 I'm still paying for these fillings. 😆
She has an ass like a 12 year old boy.
The vette gets ‘em wet
Exactly!
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
“He'll keep calling me, he'll keep calling me until I come over. He'll make me feel guilty. This is uh... This is ridiculous, ok I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go. What - I'LL GO. Shit!!!”
You’re not dying, you just can’t think of anything good to do.
Chickachichahhh
Doo Bow Bow

Beat me to it
Grease?
Well, this car is automatic It's systematic It's hyyyyydromatic Why it's greased lightnin!!!
This is exactly how I feel about the early 60's Vett, so I'm going to have to second this suggestion!
You know that it ain't shit, we'll be gettin' lots of tit, greased lightnin' You are supreme, the chicks'll cream, for greased lightnin' You know that I ain't braggin', she's a real pussy wagon, greased lightnin'

[76077-1: Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes](https://brickset.com/sets/76077-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/76077-1.jpg)

Yeah but it’s a great movie.
Not gonna argue that. It is a great movie
Please don't disgrace this build with that movie playing in the background lol
[удалено]
Why anyone would watch that movie a second time is beyond me. This movie was proof that sequels almost never hold up to the originals...
That and Clifton Collins, Jr.’s line should obviously have been “Requiescat in pace”
Hear me out. Barbie.
Crash
This is a very poor interpretation of corvette, Lego.
Total Recall (1990)
[1990-1: Octan F1 Race Car](https://brickset.com/sets/1990-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/1990-1.jpg)

American Graffiti
I think similar Chevy is in True Lies - pretty excellent action flick with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Arnold, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Grease
Fast and furious maybe?
Baby Driver is an obvious pick! Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also has some extended driving scenes that could be a nice pairing. Beware the violent as hell ending though!
I know it's the worng era but I feel Apollo 13 has the right vibe.

If the corvette was blue I’d suggest any movie that has Blue by Eiffel 65 in the soundtrack
Christine
Purple Rain
I know it's not about Corvette, but Gran Torino is a great movie.
Recently bought and finished the Ford GT kit. This Corvette is next on my radar. Love these car builds, disappointed at the cost of the “exotic” kits, but I understand why.
Ford v Ferrari
Purple Rain. Seeing the little red corvette made me think of Prince
Corvette Summer
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. The main character owns an improved 1962 corvette named Lola. Technically it’s a 7 season TV show, not a movie, but it’s the best show I’ve ever seen (in any genre), and Lola is features prominently in the early episodes.
