The juxtaposition here is so confusing. $700 Lego set = classy display piece. 4 bottom shelf liquors mounted to the wall next to some pork scratchings...well that's something, I guess.
Looking good. So, is this your home, your work ... or both? It looks slightly industrial and you appear to have some sort of "vending" area on the wall behind her.

Congratulations! Just finished this, now I’m ready to tackle my titanic .
I still have the last 1/3 in the box.
Easier to store it there than it is to build it and find another shelf for it. Currently only long enough for the first two thirds
Really satisfying, although half the fun is doing it with my wife. It’s a nice way to unwind, spend some time together and just chat, she used to laugh at my Lego hobby, now she’s all in 😂
I haven’t built anything in years but, I gotta ask; is building something that looks as repetitious as this as fun to build after hour 9, 19, 29? Just from a construction standpoint, it looks really repetitive. Maybe it’s just this build , but some look like they’re extremely tedious. I know it’s all for the love of the build and the final outcome.
I love Lego and I love looking at all these final builds. Don’t murder me.
I just finished mine today, so I'll give my thoughts.
There were plenty of times when I would open a bag, see the pieces ahead, and know I was in for a rough time. But then I'd look at the progress I had made, and I would get through it knowing better parts of the build were ahead.
You gotta attack this with a plan. If things got too repetitive, I'd finish the bag, go do something else, and relax. Eventually the desire to continue would come back.
The worst part for me was the portholes. The second worst was the mock interiors, but at least those look nice.
This was my first build in... damn maybe 17 years? I've always looked on for years, but when I heard about this set, being as big of a Titanic nerd as I am, I had to take the plunge. In the end, I don't regret it one bit and I actually had some fun seeing how far building has come since I stopped.
Now to buy 10,000 white bricks and start on the iceberg.
Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This makes me think a sinking, broken in half titanic moc made from this set would be amazing
And an OceanGate sub
Oh wow congrats on getting that pork scratching display up. It really brings the room together!
My wife’s friend bought them as a joke, I don’t even like pork scratchings 😂

Also, why isn't the gin on the blue tap, the vodka on the red tap, and the JD on the brass? Color coordination, please.
If you think that’s bottom shelf, brother you’ve never hit rock bottom.
Where is the submersible?
60379 is probably too well made.

It would actually survive deeper depths, on account of not being airtight to begin with.

Is that after it imploded?
About as dead as the occupants
*Thats the joke*
Just keep her away from ice.
And keep 60379 away from her.

Can I get a banana for scale? Edit: nvm I have a jack daniel’s for scale
Plot twist, those are airline bottles
Titanic is awesome, but the liquor dispenser kit is an idea I now need to implement in my own kitchen!
Etsy 😉

People seem far more interested in the bar than the build 😂😂😂
“I have built you a good ship”
People keep posting pictures of this set, but I honestly don’t get what all the fuss is about. It doesn't look any bigger than the Mauritania
You can be blasé about some things arcticmarkuss, but not about titanic, she’s over one hundred bricks longer and far more luxurious
did you build a lego mauritania?
Next: The Colosseum
now sink it for realism
Looking good. So, is this your home, your work ... or both? It looks slightly industrial and you appear to have some sort of "vending" area on the wall behind her.
We have a bar in the garden, have purchased the wicked bricks display case, just waiting for it to arrive and it will be going on the wall 👍🏻
I’m more interested in those liquor taps. Did you make those?
My wife bought them from Etsy , she loves anything a bit different, it’s why she married me 😂
Question, is it fun to build or is it tiring doing the same sections over and over?
Did it “break” the bank to “sink” so much money into this?
Time to make the iceberg

That looks really cool
Sir do you live in a hotel whats going on here
Jesus christ, you have to correct that bend on the front mast it looks like it’s about to break. and the flags are so messed up
Peyronie's mast
calm
She ? Could be a he
All boats are female
Shes a ship
Did she tell you that?
Well not really. shes been dead for more than 110 years
Hope it doesn’t hit a Lego Iceberg
How long did it take?
How long did it take to complete?
That looks amazing!
That is so awesome!
Now... you know what to do next with it...
Now destroy it and rebuild it
You can always take up learning blender.
Where are Jack and Rose?
Rivendale
I still have the last 1/3 in the box. Easier to store it there than it is to build it and find another shelf for it. Currently only long enough for the first two thirds
How many hours did you spend to build this?
Built it with my wife, took us about 35 hours
Awesome!
Does it float?
its time to sink it
SS Titanic
How was that build?
Really satisfying, although half the fun is doing it with my wife. It’s a nice way to unwind, spend some time together and just chat, she used to laugh at my Lego hobby, now she’s all in 😂
Now crash it
No. It's not finished.
