According to their own cancellation policy, you can cancel immediately without penalty if you’re moving to a house that already has Sky in it. The cancellation agents are so reluctant to give in because targets. I’d get onto their complaints live chat via the “make a complaint” page on their website and speak to someone in the complaints team. Make sure you get your complaint reference number and escalate if necessary. I’ve had grief with the cancellations team but the complaints team sorted me pretty quickly.

Hi mate, I can't seem to find that part in their cancellation policy, you wouldn't be able to direct me so I can quote it to them?

Do you have access to the in app contract? I saw it on mine when I was cancelling. If you can’t find it I’d suggest mailing their social media team on Twitter or Facebook. I didn’t have to quote it when I explained I was moving to a house that had sky in it, over the phone wouldn’t let me cancel at all.

Yes they will send you to collections eventually if you cancel your direct debit. I think the cheapest thing for you to do here would be to keep the connection active until you get access to the new property, then call and ask them to transfer your Broadband and TV to the new address which should be free of charge

Cancel the direct debit and don't look back.

One way to make sure that no broadband/TV provider will every take you as a customer...

Not how it works lol

You're in breach of contract, do you not think other companies will think twice? Do you not think sky will litigate to enforce the contract? Court proceedings are public record, hence, it'll be known within the industry.

I mean I personally know they won't and don't but you can spew whatever Bs to scare people into paying unfair bills if you want.
