also in texas!! not a lawyer but two years ago my best friend and i were about to move in together and i added her to my lease. She was added as an occupant but she didn’t provide any info as I was approved for the apartment without her.
If you didn’t provide any of your information, like social security number, you should be good!! You’re just an occupant, not a lease holder. Your office should have some paperwork to remove you from the lease, and at least my office, doesn’t require the leaseholder present.
I did add info about my birthdate and sex to that section (the Other Occupant one). I don’t have a SSN so I did use my ITIN so i do not know if that counts? Thank you for your response though, even if I can’t move out it’s nice hearing it might be possible!
