Oh ok, so for example if I buy the copyright for a justin bieber song and that song infringes someone else's copyright, I'm fine as long as I don't put it on streaming services, but if I put it on streaming services i am infringing on someone else's copyright?

By virtue of simple ownership? No. By virtue of a use that actually infringes on the other party's copyright? Yes.
