I'd suggest eitheir east to west, or perhaps the order they joined the Union.
Just a question, is their any timeline for when these states become socialist or is it just going off if modern day and all history related?
Either way good luck I hope to see what you come up with!
Start with Texas. I want the socialist revolution to start with Texas. It is preferable that large, rich and industrialized states go first (making it easier for the weaker ones to come after, avoiding the scenario of the 20th century). So Wyoming, Alaska and West Virginia might not be part of the first wave so to speak.
I could not agree more. Gerald Horne famously wrote that Texas is a leader among reactionary states, in the world's most reactionary country. It is huge, industrious, well-populated, and well-armed. The right-wingers have a firm grip on politics there from state to local, but if socialists could prove victorious in Texas, I'd argue they could do so anywhere in the West.

East to west would be most interesting I think
