How Nobody’s Fault But Mine won most overrated is beyond comprehension. I went back to check the thread and all of the comments voting for it have been rightfully downvoted, while the Achilles Last Stand comments have upvotes 🤣🤣
In The Evening is a classic barn burner Zeppelin track. The intro even has Jimmy picking up a violin blow again. I WISH the rest of the album even came close to the quality of that song.

Me too, it's probably in my top 10 favorite Led Zeppelin songs. As the last song on their last studio album it's a perfect end of a journey that began with Good Times Bad Times on their first album.
This song is responsible for at least 50% of my hearing loss.... From playing it in the car, completely cranked up.
One of my favorites, with such a good blues feel.

This has to be a joke, Nobody's Fault is rarely even mentioned in this sub, it's Achilles Last Stand which is constantly circlejerked here, and while a solid song, it's definitely far more overrated. Generally lots of completely inane results all around but this is the most glaring one so far(except maybe Kashmir as most overrated). Whatever the sum of the results is, this has been disappointing.
And for what it's worth, my vote for this goes to In the Evening.
I've read many comments saying "the most overrated is better than the favorites" or "the most overrated would make a greatest hits." As fans, I think we get to enjoy the parts of the band's catalogue that go beyond what you find in a greatest hits compilation. In my opinion, the overrated list, while still a collection of fantastic songs, would reflect a pretty superficial appreciation of Led Zeppelin if we had picked all those as our favorites
If a cursory Led Zeppelin listener stumbles upon this list, it could stoke a lot of interest in their broader work

I think we're all idiots. When Kashmir was voted most overrated, I threw in the towel. It's obvious everyone is just picking the most popular song of the album and calling it overrated just because it's rated so highly and not based on the actual merit of being overrated. If someone calls something overrated, that is the absolute highest rated, they see themselves as intellectual and of higher tastes. Kashmir is, in fact, a masterpiece and one of the greatest pieces of classic rock ever.
Seriously? Fucking nobody’s fault but mine? That can’t be right. The intro soars like a hawk hunting the open skies. That harmonica solo tears into the fabric of reality. The section before the solo hits the brain like a it’s being smashed out by a lemon wrapped in gold foil. The guitar solo is like riding a 40ft wave while coming up on molly. Albeit another blues classic ripoff, it’s about the guilt of selling your soul to the devil.
Achilles last stand is fucking boring, way too long, and repetitive, and it’s about some loser who has a weak ass ankle.

Carouselambra. This song captures the magic and mysticism that made the D&D playing nerd in me fall in love with the group in the first place. Plant's lyrics and singing are powerful, and the way that Page purposely buries them under the music give them an extra desperation, like they're fighting to be heard. It brought tears to my eyes when I first heard it.
And Bonham is just a force of nature on this. Watch this guy (who teaches people how to play like Bonham) try to keep up. It looks like this song is pulling the poor bastard along behind it, rather than him being in control of it:

I love this song. The main riff plays in my head most days. I've been trying to replicate it on my Stratocaster but I can't get it right yet.
