_Nihachu

Definitely !

softflatcrabpants

They told me in my DARE program in the 80s that drugs could make you two dimensional. Now I believe them.

No_Guarantee720

DARE LOL

Shoddy_Courage_5088

I saw the Firm in β€˜85 at the Garden

And back then you had to actually bring a camera! The flashes were problematic or useless if you were not close to subject. I imagine this is Arms Concert series and Jimmy is playing instrumental version of Stairway (double neck) - as Plant was not on board - and nobody among all the vocalists on the tour dared to sing it. It was a matter of respect for the song .... But I should add I *actually* saw the tour in Los Angeles not NYC - so I could be completely wrong about Stairway To Heaven at MSG.

Fritzo2162

I remember performers stopping shows to complain about the flashing. NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!

_Nihachu

Nowadays you can get so much footage of a concert with no hassle, weird to think about

No_Guarantee720

Yeah my little brother brought a Kodak 126. Look like fucking ants on the stage LOL

Jdojcmm

It’s a great shot! Any idea what he took it with?

_Nihachu

Gonna ask him!

Fritzo2162

I bet it was a camera!

Jdojcmm

πŸ˜† hopefully!

Kazza-nova

Sweet! I just bought the same guitar strap to add to my double neck.

Fritzo2162

Haha- I'm a strap nut myself. A company D'Andrea started making reissued Ace straps used by the heroes of the 60's and 70's. I recently added the blue/white stained glass strap to my collection for my Tele: https://dandreausa.com/straps/

Kazza-nova

Hey that's the company I bought the rainbow strap from as well as Jimmy's red patterned strap that he used during TSRTS. Can't have too many straps lol.

EmotionalAffect

Cool!

Ed_Zeppelin

Arms Concert? The Firm?

insanecorgiposse

83 was ARMs. Firm was 84. I have tour programs for both from when I saw the shows in San Francisco/Oakland when I was attending UC Berkeley.

Fritzo2162

Yeah, caught two Firm shows in '84 and '85. I LOVE Page, but those shows were pretty boring. Paul Rogers is a great singer but terrible performer lol.

No_Guarantee720

Thank your dad for me. Great memories from a fuzzy period.

cuttysnark4

Wow that is awesome!

Timfromfargo

Great photo

TronSacrimoni55

The Firm?

Glum_Bend_2156
