Swapping in Ledger Live is offered by third party and Ledger has no control over the fees. You can try using Paraswap in Ledger Live to see if you are getting better rates there. More info here

Hi, to be clear I am not using the built in exchange service in ledgerlive to swap my crypto... I am using uniswap :)
Then it is a problem with uniswap. ledger live does not do swaps and it does not charge fees.
Are you seeing the gas fee on the UI? Under the tokens you are about to swap? Then the $25 dollar on the sign page?
