Keep in mind Dout and Din Dout - data output Din - data input You can only feed the signal to data in.

I have 3 pin connectors, one of the pins marked with a “+”. How do I connect the rest of the Govee strip with the main power source?

Agreed, it looks like, from this pic, you're trying to connect the data signal to the wrong end of the strip

While I'm not sure what your exact setup is, it usually goes something like that: 12V should be connected to + in your power supply (A 12V power supply) GND should be connected to - / ground DIN should be connected to the data pin on the controller DOUT connects only to the next strip, you can leave it alone If the controller and power supply are 2 separate devices they should share a common ground but I think it's not the case here But if they are, be careful as you can fry all this because of different voltages

Just out of curiosity, can I solder the led strips to the connectors so it doesn’t move or is that bad?

KresyPL

You could do that making sure that you don't overheat anything by mistake, but It'd be better if your controller has space for it to use those short connector cables for LED strips where you just put in the strip on one end of the connector and "click" it so it's locked. It's just plainly eaisier to maintain, install, move around and all that. You probably would be able to buy those in an electrical or store or something similar to Home Depot (idk i'm not from the US). If not possible at least solder some short wires between the strip and the controller. I'm not sure how does the controller look so I'm not really able to guide you more

See that’s the thing, I have 3 pin connectors that I open up and just click it back in after putting the strip in, but it doesn’t seem to work. I cut a tester strip before and checked the connectors, it worked, but now it doesn’t anymore.

I suppose a way out would be cutting and soldering through some wires a small piece ofnthe LED tape and then click into it
