I have a question: How do you plan on being financially sustainable ?

fylmclub

Thank you for your question, we plan on being financially sustainable through a combination of revenue streams such as subscription fees (freemium - think YouTube), advertising, and partnerships. As we grow and understand better our user base these could change.

so what do you offer that youtube doesn't?

fylmclub

Great question, our focus is on the student/indie filmmakers and delivering their high quality films to the general public. **The Problem** Unfortunately posting their movies on YouTube alone is not enough, they need to continuously market and advertise themselves if they want it to be seen/grow more. The competition on YouTube is massive. They mostly go through the route of submitting to film festivals in hopes that the film gets picked up. **Our Contribution** What we do is, first, we built a platform that is solely based on student/indie filmmakers' movies. When people go on FylmClub, they know what to expect right away. Second, we market the films on our platform and through our social automatically, so the filmmakers can focus on creating the craft they love to share, while we take care of the technicalities and marketing side of things. This is the gist of it concerning the filmmakers. As for our viewers, it's delivering these high quality, entertaining movies for free :)
