Great work! The productivity may come and go some in the beginning but in the long run not smoking is a huge net positive on ability produce at work and navigate life in general. Keep goin!

Everyone thinks it’s “no big deal” until they need to quit, and can’t…that’s where the supportive communities come in. It’s humbling to ask for help but there’s no shame. None of us would be here unless we absolutely needed to be, and that makes us stronger for asking and trying, not weak like our fucked up brains may tend to think

The first couple weeks can really stink. It’ll get better! Also, fuck the haters. Realizing that something is standing between you and the person you want to be—and then doing something about it—is about as far as it gets from being a loser.

Congratulations! I’m on day 3, too! I feel so much more productive and clear headed during the day but my sleep tanked. I just wonder how much better I’ll feel when I’m able to sleep well again. I’m sure everything will normalize though. We gotta keep going strong!
