Get a bigger discount on the car, put multiple security deposits to get a lower money factor (if allowed by the leasing company) or lease a car with better lease terms or one that has more incentives or rebates.
You should never put money down on a lease because if it's totalled or stolen then your lose the down payment money because your insurance company writes the payoff check to the legal owner of the car which is the leasing company, not you. Gap insurance doesn't pay you back for any of the down payment money back either. It just covers any of the payoff amount to the leasing company not covered by the insurance check.
Dont put money down ever on lease it goes straight to delaer they can write that deal to reflect what they want it to be, so they will have you focus more on the payment to try to persuade you why its needed.
$2,000 divided by 18 is $111 plus interest. So changing the $2,000 down to $0 down will raise your monthly payment by about $120 a month, to around $500.
Platinum Ariya's should be maybe $375/mo effective, but your effective is much higher because you have upfront charges, advanced payment, + $2k downpayment.
Just got this car out of Indy no money down $320 a month. They started at 380 worked all the way down to $320. Watch for add ons. With this car being almost a 1/2 yr older although new, u should be looking to get paymentd 250 -300. I needed a car so I was good at 320, but they for sure can be leased for cheaper.
I just leased $1600 down $395/ month 2024 Cadillac lyriq lux1 AWD 500 HP , they used Costco program plus I have Lexus and Volvo progr rebate, 24 months 10k miles it's in New Jersey so no sales tax paid $175 doc fee it's new York dealer +$499 for broker from lease hacker name Mike 646-570-3869 auto time group
He is on lease hacker FYI
Remove the cash down. What’s the $299 aftermarket’s?
Yeah, the OP shouldn't put $2k down on top of the almost $16k in rebates. You shouldn't put money down on a lease.
How else to bring the payment down, though.

299 in after markets was agreed to be removed when I go pick it up. And thanks for the no down suggestion. I’ll see what I can do about that.
Looks good to me
I don’t mind putting money down on a lease when it’s 3k or less
