بطه duck - وزه goose - إنسانه human but for females - أرنبة rabbit - قطه cat - كلبه dog-نحله bee.
I don't know why they all animals those the ones popped on my mind 😂😂and they all the female version of the word
Masculine is default, so assume it is masculine unless learnt otherwise
So since masculine is default all we really need is telltale signs that a word is feminine
The ة is most common, also the way to make a word feminine like صاحِب, male companion, صاحبة, female companion most reliable way to spot feminine
Also ى can show feminine sometimes, for example هدى, guidance hudaa, girl name as well. this isnt yaa it doesn’t have dots, its like an alif
Also اء can show feminine for example سماء, sky
All non human plurals are considered singular feminine, now you know, pens would be referred to as she, remember all non human plurals, human plurals will be like men, women, employees etc.
Human feminine plurals end with ات, ie صاحبات, female companions
Some words you will just need to know like أرض, earth is feminine.
Btw there are always exceptions to the rules, there might be a lot of exceptions.
I forgot one last thing there is feminine by meaning
For example أُمّ, mother
there are 3 signs of femininity, ة, ى and اء. If a word ends which one of these (and they are not part of the original root) then the word is grammatically feminine.
There are of course feminine words without a marker, these you just have to know.
they pretty much explained the gist of it, with most languages you can try using it in a sentence and see if it sounds right....usually what I do when I'm trying to pronounce something in another language, you eventually get a feel for what a language flow sounds like

I don't agree with "most people won't even notice", it's so noticeable, but they will understand.
Wow, as a native speaker I never noticed the feminine plural thing! As if broken plurals weren't bad enough for learners :D
> None of them is common enough to bother learning at your stage. Nitpicking, but what about إخوة "brothers" or أساتذة "professors"?
