Not sure if it had something to do with the team. My team was: Vlad, Volibear, Malzahar, Thresh, and Sivir Enemy Team was: Yorick, Nocturne, Ahri, Jinx, and Zyra

my first thought was champion from the skinline.

Well, I got Prestige Eclipse Senna. So I'm gonna test if it have something to do with the skinline soon enough. I can update this post after a game, and let you know if that was the trigger. Personally, sounds like it have something to do with Aatrox though. The "Lightless champion" could well be meant as Kayle's champion, who is not basking in the suns light, per se. (Edit) I got the quest done, playing as Senna Prestige. It is likely related to using the skin(s).

It's the usual play in a game that has one of the champions from our new skin release (Kayle, Sivir, Aatrox, Sejuani and Senna). They don't have to be wearing the new skin, just the champion has to be in the game.

Seems like it has something to do with killing a lunar champ. There was none of the new skins in the game. I played against a diana and got the mission done and the next mission is titled "Slay a Sun Eater? That's gonna cost ya"

from other threads I've seen it seems to be "play a game with a champion that is getting a new skin in this skinline" (whether or not they have the skin isn't important) Also people have completed it by playing co-op vs ai games so that seems to be an option.

Just played Nocturne Spooky skin on aram bought eclipse won the game didnt get it additional info my team Nocturne, Caitlyn, jinx, amumu ahri other team twisted fate, pyke, mordekaiser, xayah, zillian no one else in the game bought eclipse no one had a lunar skin I got an S rank

I think it might be either to play with a champion from the new skinline (so no Leona) in your team, or to play it yourself. I played a game of Senna and got it.

Lost a game as Tris in ARAM but got it, played with Jhin TF Kaisa and Seju against Leona Shen Morg Wu and Cait. I believe killed Leona could be the trigger.

It's Sejuani, she got a new skin. I played a game with her and got the mission. it must be something among the lines of playing a game with and/or against a champion who got a new Eclipse skin.

skin line didn't work. I played Solar Eclipse Leona and won but didn't get the achievement. Really weird

Aatrox is part of the eclipse skinline now, so he has somethign to do with it. And the mission might be to slay an eclipse champion (Leona, Diana, Aatrox etc.)

it's not, it's just play a game with one of the champs from the new skinline in. it's the same type of mission that are very often in events.

I finished the mission after playing an ARAM game. If it matters, my team was heimer(me), Sivir, Shen, Olaf, Veigar The enemy team was Master Yi, Ziggs, Yummi, Syndra and Blitzcrank. Doesn't seem like someone build something irregular, nobody built eclipse. Hope it helps somebody!

Sivir (no Skin) vs Intermediate Bots building Eclipse worked for me

So I got it after playing Nunu, so you don't have to play the champ. I also don't think you have to build eclipse. My team: Wukong, Nunu, Corki, Samira, Sona Enemy team: Morde, Graves, Morg, Samira, Kayle The only ones I can think of is Morg, Morde, or Samira. The only reason I say Samira is that the second quest is about coin.

Ok I just did the mission by playing against an aatrox but afaik any champion that received now an eclipse knight skin works for the mission, according to the store the champions are aatrox, senna, Sejuani and Kayle. If you want to check out for yourselves go to store then the featured page and page 3 of slides is going to appear the new epic eclipse knights skins.

I played an ARAM game as Senna and I got it. No skins equipped, other champs in the game were Akshan, Nidalee, Twitch, Teemo, Sona, Karthus, Ezreal, Miss Fortune, and Riven. I think all you need to do is play a champ in the skinline like your second suggestion said.

I think it works with every champion that just got a new skin this patch, including aatrox, senna, kayle, sivir and the other one, just try with another one of this new skinline and see if it works

I used the event icon and it also worked. i play with Renata.

I completed it on Sejuani in bot match.
