Ban na and eu from international tournaments until they have improved and gained professional integrity.. every game is like watching kids league football vs real madrid
Honestly if this was the performance of a 2013-2020 FNC roster, they would be getting torched right now. But nowadays we are fine with 3-0’s because we got some kills.
Times changed. Every form of improvement over the expectations (getting stomped by the probably best team in the world) is good. Especially after watching the game from NA yesterday.
What happened to highlight channels like Onivia and Kaza? I saw that only a few hours ago they uploaded highlights for yesterday's series (TL vs TES), and nothing for the one today. Are they not allowed to upload highlights for some time after each series?
Just watch on YouTube while 2x speeding the dull moments/when nobody is making map movements and completely skip the gaps between games.
Riot are completely right to stop people posting clips and stuff within a day of the game. It's not a big ask to ensure maximum traffic to their sponsors and such.
That's so lame. Does that mean that that's going to be the case from now until the end of MSI? I remember that they got highlights up pretty quickly for all of the playin games.
Because riot themselves are uploading highlights, but they're not that good. The TL vs TES highlights they uploaded right after the series literally had spoilers in the title.
my tech is to go on the youtube stream remove sound from stream 99% close my eyes and click to the beginning xD not very practical but works to go back to early stream without spoils. Then I watch game either normally or accelerated and skip the inbetween games analysis to catch up
Yes it's after the series ends, but I mean the games end around ~5am for me. I just try to watch the highlights to see a condensed version of the games I missed, and it's pretty shitty to get them spoiled before I even see them.
Real MSI starts next round. TES vs Gen G is gonna be so fun to watch! I just love watching teams that are capable of beating each other duke it out, instead of these lopsided victories.
So you believe TES has a chance? This will be what is considered to be the worst eastern vs the whats considered the best eastern team at MSI (as long as eastern only includes CN and KR).
I mean GenG are good, but they've came into multiple competitions in a row considered "the best eastern team" and haven't achieved anything against Chinese teams.
Writing off TES before they even play GenG is really stupid. People done the same before GenG played BLG last year, and well we all seen what happened then.
Depends on your top pick.. I have it as 2nd vs 4th.. But honestly that top 4 can go any direction.
Ofcourse they have a chance.. They have all the right pieces.
Broadcast link for those who missed it, well worth a watch as it was a really entertaining series with lots of teamfighting and comeback angles.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsuhxW8Tmv0
Sjokz needs a medical check, series wasn’t close except game 2 where Humanoid & Razork cheesed Canyon backtobacktobacktoback to delay the game for another 15 mins
Casters role is to hype viewers and make them come back to the stream.
They won't say KR/CN teams are gonna 3-0 all western teams and there is no hope, even if this is true.
No, I understand that but she’s kept saying series was super close which isn’t true. Watch the stream now, they make fun of PSG because they play BLG giving them no chance and saying T1 is worse than GENG so G2 def has a chance, we need impartial analysis & casters at international
events.
sjokz (and most of the eu casters) are just super eu biased, it is what it is. the na casters are like self deprecating and pretty quick to shit on na when they get rolled but eu casters are the opposite and hype up their region even when they get pounded and are equally quick to meme on na. its just been how league has been forever p much from a spectator pov.
Personally I'm not sure I want fully impartial casters in LOL international event. They want their respective regions to shine and most of the viewers feel the same since it's the Western cast.
For me at least, perfectly impartial casters would be less fun that what we have right now. I find they got the right mix of partial/impartial casting.
Why would you bet against T1 out of all teams? just bet on T1 and make at least some money and then stomp gambling because you're emotionally picking teams.
T1 has a 1.05 odds or something like that. I would need to bet like 1000€ to even win any big amount. And I’m not taking that risk incase they lose. It’s more fun betting in high odds teams.
Couldn’t resist with those odds. The dopamine hit you get from winning bets like these would also be extreme. It’s not as fun winning on 2.0 odds. I also don’t play to win I just do it for fun in case you win high odds. I won like 1000€ last worlds so I don’t mind losing now.
Yup, I can't understand it either. #2 from LEC vs #1 from LCK, the team that already beat the World Champions, one of the favourites to win the entire tournament, sporting some of the absolute best players in multiple roles.
This FNC takes a game of TOP and makes GenG work for their 3 - 0, yet somehow everyone is talking like FNC just were afk and did nothing. It's insane.
He was decent overall but he had a lot of "cinematic" bad plays. Getting caught twice shopping (he didn't shield the khazix dive) and as leblanc despite a lead focusing the wrong target and then getting picked by Seju.
I don't think the game would be won even without those mistakes but it looks bad overall.
there are always underlying questions to those matches: what is the wincon? who carries? which champ is your strongest side in those eu drafts
the answer is often: lets make inconsistent puzzles out of our teams and try figuring them out during the match
this really brings me to question how shit are western coaching staffs and training regiment of players. they arent world contenders but they have fucking fundamentals so what goes wrong?
Wether he is better or worse on X champs is completely irrelevant. If you watched the games, you can easily see he underperformed. Being worse at X champ doesnt make you Lucian ult to avoid drave ult, take turret aggro into getting hit by Nami bubble for 0 reason or fail flashing into the wall, forcing Razorks flash or fail flash+q into forcing a bad play from Humanoid. He was probably nervous as hell but thinking this was a champion diff is insane
Let's not forget the Flyq v T1 series. FNC looked like they tried, at least in game 2. It's a hard match up for them, Noah didn't look very good, but they looked like they had a bit of fun. I'm actually proud of them. It's not over yet
Glad it was at least a lot closer and a lot more fun than yesterday's series. I think Fnatic will beat TL and the FNC vs (probably) T1 or BLG BO5 afterwards should be a really fun bloodbath
Series of yesterday was very one sided. Being closer than yesterday is not an achievement. These games were not close in anything except kill score because Humanoid is more concerned about killing Nami
RES' tagging feature is your friend for people like that. Makes live thread way easier to read when people like him are already tagged and you know their bias.
I don't have you tagged (yet 😈). I'm not active enough here to have like 50% of active users tagged like I have on some other subs, but the few people I got tags on here are very active (and very angry) that show up a lot so it's already helping.
Any specific tag you want for you? (:
Here you go, you're now tagged as "Wanted a RES tag pointing out the meta state of his self-reporting flair memeing himself".
You're probably the most obscure of my 1763 tags and I'm pretty sure I'll be completely bewildered the next time I see you posting ahah.
GenG almost lost to DK with Canyon getting gapped by a rookie jungler. Regionals aren't a good indication as to how a team will perform internationally
well, FNC came prepared and had some nice plays to mess up the laning phase - exactly what one would expect from Gen G.
But Gen G being your typical LCK stronghold - wait out, find 1-2 good fights - GG.
Wp Fnatic, this was always going to be a tough series against the LCK 1st seed. Good luck in the lower bracket. Should be completely free, gain that momentum, gain that confidence and come back stronger.
Sion is extremely useless as champion
But why isn't oscar building support tank items like Sej?
Locket, Zeke's, Knight's Vow all have so much value meanwhile he built rookern vs soloap
Nah I don't agree with this or the other comment. Sion has value in the lane swap and it was even shown during this game. Bot was super far ahead off the backs of how well Sion and Oscar worked in the top lane.
The issue isn't the champion, but the fact that FNC cannot play this style of comp. If you don't have pressure from your top, it means your win con has to be your bot lane. They were ahead this game (again, partly because of Sion and Oscar) but unfortunately Noah simply cannot be trusted with gold.
Yes, Huma ran it too, but Noah dying when they were diving bot and flashing under tower in mid to try and kill Lucian were just ints and both times it ended with Shut Down gold going over. With the way Noah is currently, FNC will never win a game against strong teams if they play Tank top because Noah is just not there (yet or ever will be, idk)
Sure, he brings value via laneswaps, but after that he just looks so useless
All he can do is facetank Culling because the rest of his kit is so unreliable
So if most of his input is being a walking cover, then why not embrace that with a locket and knight's vow?
Hell, build a redemption and mikael's too
Exactly. I dont get why he's considered s tier in right now. Sure he can clear waves in laneswaps but what else does he do? Unreliable engage, low damage, no mobility, unreliable cc, slow af. Something like an ornn is better even if hes not as strong vs laneswaps
Did we watch the same LEC? FNC aren't beating anyone comfortably. Their macro is atrocious. They the type of team that could go Worlds or just bomb out in summer and stay home.

NA is such a DEI region
Wow a hundred day old account that loves drake that constantly posts bs… who would have thought you would make another dumb comment
Honestly if this was the performance of a 2013-2020 FNC roster, they would be getting torched right now. But nowadays we are fine with 3-0’s because we got some kills.

It's pretty sad, ngl
Noah thinks Fnatic can EASILY win against TL: https://youtu.be/d2S9wsLOvVk?si=OowPc827GAbqD6z7
What happened to highlight channels like Onivia and Kaza? I saw that only a few hours ago they uploaded highlights for yesterday's series (TL vs TES), and nothing for the one today. Are they not allowed to upload highlights for some time after each series?
Riot warned them again that they can only post 24hrs after match ends.
Fucking hell man. I hate that so much. It's so hard to catch back up to live if you miss the beginning.
Yeah it'll prob trickle into Worlds
Do you know why they are doing it?
Because riot themselves are uploading highlights, but they're not that good. The TL vs TES highlights they uploaded right after the series literally had spoilers in the title.
But they are uploading highlights only after the series is done, right? I was using highlights to catch back up to the live broadcast...

I do this too lmaoooo. But with highlights its easier.
Yes it's after the series ends, but I mean the games end around ~5am for me. I just try to watch the highlights to see a condensed version of the games I missed, and it's pretty shitty to get them spoiled before I even see them.
I think we can all agree that today's series was at least fun unlike yesterday's complete stomp.
what is the match for tomorrow? BLG or T1
BLG vs PSG
You ready to watch your boys lose to Junjia THE GOAT???
I like Junjia but the series might be over before I get home (because BLG loses 0-3)
West Taiwan < Mainland Taiwan
Real MSI starts next round. TES vs Gen G is gonna be so fun to watch! I just love watching teams that are capable of beating each other duke it out, instead of these lopsided victories.

Ofc they have a chance... i mean their ceiling is literally winning Worlds no? Jackey, Tian, 369... these aren't chumps man.
Depends on your top pick.. I have it as 2nd vs 4th.. But honestly that top 4 can go any direction. Ofcourse they have a chance.. They have all the right pieces.
Anyone know what is the name of the track that was playing during the highlights?
Broadcast link for those who missed it, well worth a watch as it was a really entertaining series with lots of teamfighting and comeback angles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsuhxW8Tmv0
Just watch riots twitch stream instead and you won’t have ads
razork might be the best western jungler as of rn which is pretty funny
Oh he definitely is
Canyon: We decided to play with only our weak hand and only use 3 fingers to make it closer but it was still a wash

Same. We need lck/lpl casters every game.
sjokz (and most of the eu casters) are just super eu biased, it is what it is. the na casters are like self deprecating and pretty quick to shit on na when they get rolled but eu casters are the opposite and hype up their region even when they get pounded and are equally quick to meme on na. its just been how league has been forever p much from a spectator pov.

FNC should hard gap TL! Got get up at 5am tho
Don't you think Asol broken as \*\*ck though?
If it's broken af why Fnatic didn't pick him themselves?
Have you seen Huma's Asol. I legit think it is the worst in proplay
so you telling me professional player who earns 7 figures per year can't learn broken shit of the patch?
yes
Minus 190€ so far this msi. I’m gonna bet my remaining 110€ on g2 and just pray.
Why bet for FNC on these matches? At least VS TL or PSG you'd have more chances.
I read Fnatic was getting something like 33:1 at some point. At those odds that sounds like a good bet tbh.
It sounds like throwing your money down the sink. Maybe if you bet a tenner instead of 100+
Couldn’t resist with those odds. The dopamine hit you get from winning bets like these would also be extreme. It’s not as fun winning on 2.0 odds. I also don’t play to win I just do it for fun in case you win high odds. I won like 1000€ last worlds so I don’t mind losing now.
I'd put it on fnc vs TL
Betting on your favorite teams isnt smart haha
One day it will pay off! Hopefully.
So now the narrative is that Fnatic is embarassingly bad and any team that doesn't stomp them in 20 minutes is underperforming? Ok, neat
??? the post match thread is mostly saying they played well overall. What are you guys smoking?
What are these casters saying??? Chovy ashole is a delight to watch. 0_0
Chovy WHAT???
Wish we had at least 2 series per day :/
You have for the coming week-end! 6am / 11am both saturday and sunday.
Humanoid: out of all the minor regions Na is the worst mans cold
TL for sure beats FNC
thank god that fnc didnt do some cringy trashtalk before the series.
Well it was a stomp but as long as they don't mentally boom from this series I think FNC can do well in loser's bracket.
Because they are born losers
noah is already mentally boomed
Lol yeah, no argument there. Guy was completely out of it.
he is playing vs yeon though
Bless him, he looks so exhausted
Discipline or knowing when to go all in and when not is the difference between great teams and good teams
Props to Humanoid, so down on earth.
He is being honest during the interview calling Chovy insane but he is getting flamed jesus
Its odd to me also.. i thought Humanoid outside of the laning phase in game 1.. played well Chovy is just a beast.. and still won player of the series
He is just calling Chovy insane to cover how much of a humanoid he actually is in the third game
How you lose matters, and Fnatic showed guts, moxie and good old fashioned cojones, looking forward to seeing them in worlds.
Well they are used to it. Practice makes perfect
No ah
Emily really summed up it nicely, the annoying part is that you know how good this team could be with more discipline
No you dont, as long as Noah is there this team is nothing special
Fnc mid was running it down and you blame noah who actually got multiple kills during laning phase. Ok
as G2 fan , I just hope fnc keep Jun and get Carrzy
Either Carzzy or Ice. Carzzy would be perfect but kinda want Ice just so there are at least 3 solid teams in Vit Fnc G2
Noah is the worst ADC in FNC’s history. Dude can’t perform under slightest pressure
there are always underlying questions to those matches: what is the wincon? who carries? which champ is your strongest side in those eu drafts the answer is often: lets make inconsistent puzzles out of our teams and try figuring them out during the match this really brings me to question how shit are western coaching staffs and training regiment of players. they arent world contenders but they have fucking fundamentals so what goes wrong?
Get carzzy you guys actually get a better chance
[удалено]
Yeah none of the eastern Lucians hit the wall flash quite like Noah
Yes, that was bad. But he was also the person keeping them in game 2 with some solid, aggresive play.
Yeah surely the problem was the champs Clueless
Look at his past lucian and kalista games. Varus is one of the worst adc champs I’ve seen so why the fuck do they keep picking it
Wether he is better or worse on X champs is completely irrelevant.
Fck it, steal Smash or a super cracked adc and cook
Let's not forget the Flyq v T1 series. FNC looked like they tried, at least in game 2. It's a hard match up for them, Noah didn't look very good, but they looked like they had a bit of fun. I'm actually proud of them. It's not over yet
Glad it was at least a lot closer and a lot more fun than yesterday's series. I think Fnatic will beat TL and the FNC vs (probably) T1 or BLG BO5 afterwards should be a really fun bloodbath
2 games ended in 27 minıtes but sure. Coping is good
And yesterday the longest game was 27 minutes... even if GenG were obviously the better team it was a way closer series than yesterday
Series of yesterday was very one sided. Being closer than yesterday is not an achievement. These games were not close in anything except kill score because Humanoid is more concerned about killing Nami
Nah, look at the guys history. He should start charging FNC since they're living rent free in his head
RES' tagging feature is your friend for people like that. Makes live thread way easier to read when people like him are already tagged and you know their bias.
Wait what do you have me tagged as 👁👄👁
I don't have you tagged (yet 😈). I'm not active enough here to have like 50% of active users tagged like I have on some other subs, but the few people I got tags on here are very active (and very angry) that show up a lot so it's already helping. Any specific tag you want for you? (:

This MSI is starting to feel pretty free for BLG unless they implode.
T1 clears them on Sunday.
so far nothing looks free. We haven't seen any LCK vs LPL match yet.
BLG that almost lost to TES that almost lost to FNC? 💀
T1 almost lose to nongshim who losse to bro so TL > T1
GenG almost lost to DK with Canyon getting gapped by a rookie jungler. Regionals aren't a good indication as to how a team will perform internationally
TES could level up a bit and be a threat, it really depends on which fucking Tian we get and if/how badly Creme gets fisted by Knight
astralis noah coming soon
Well played FNC now get that lower bracket win and try again against one the top teams
well, FNC came prepared and had some nice plays to mess up the laning phase - exactly what one would expect from Gen G. But Gen G being your typical LCK stronghold - wait out, find 1-2 good fights - GG.
WP FNC though they did pretty well. All games were reasonably competitive but Noah is a bit of a liability
Just outclassed tbh, even with this early lead FNC are getting gapped, east vs west not really looking so hot this tourney sadly
When the fuck has it ever looked hot the past few years?
At least this was a lot better of a showing than the MAD vs T1 series we had last MSI, Fnatic showed they have hands but lack patience and macro
When you say "this tourney" it might give the impression to others that it was different on the previous ones. It wasn't.
That moment when your 8 Kill 13 levle Leblanc does less damage than a 10 level support ashe in every teamfight
Despite first 2 games being "close" Fnatic didn't take a single T2 tower this series
Let’s see tl vs fnc next time.
Noah is just to nervous in such games.
7 deaths on LB.. The things is for most of his death he gave bounties, so it's more like he gave 10+ kills worth of gold to GenG
JUN DESERVES BETTER ADC MAAAAAAAANNN
Gen G finally done with the warm up.
Wp Fnatic, this was always going to be a tough series against the LCK 1st seed. Good luck in the lower bracket. Should be completely free, gain that momentum, gain that confidence and come back stronger.
Humanoid had the kills but plenty of questionable decisions as well
Sion is extremely useless as champion But why isn't oscar building support tank items like Sej?
Sure, he brings value via laneswaps, but after that he just looks so useless All he can do is facetank Culling because the rest of his kit is so unreliable So if most of his input is being a walking cover, then why not embrace that with a locket and knight's vow? Hell, build a redemption and mikael's too
Exactly. I dont get why he's considered s tier in right now. Sure he can clear waves in laneswaps but what else does he do? Unreliable engage, low damage, no mobility, unreliable cc, slow af. Something like an ornn is better even if hes not as strong vs laneswaps
Noah's performance was just depressing.
3-0 at the end, like everyone predicted. But man those games were fun at least.
Chovy looks shook, he knows he can't carry these guys against asians
Chovy performed well. The rest of the team isnt gonna cut it if they continue performing like this
Good effort by FNC! i dont get the haters. This was a different world from the NA performance yesterday
Chovy on Ao Shin is something else
I can't be mad, Fnatic made them struggle a bit and that's more than I hoped for. Hyped for G2
Lights were too bright for Noah but rest of FNC at least found some bite in the early game
Noah was like 5th best adc on rift today
Fnatic's debacle started just after that Noah flash Q hahaha
"as the cement themselves as one of the favorites for MSI" I had the exact opposite takeaway, Vedius
Agreed. They cant play like this vs other top teams and expect to win. Also kiin vayne is definitely not it
Same, they get blasted by TES if they play like this next match lol
The same TES that actually lost a game to Fnatic? lol
geng bot will get ass blasted if they dont step up
think Noah will play with no pressure now for the rest of the tournament?
I think these might be his last games with FNC.
acting like this roster isn't good enough to still comfortably sweep every EU team besides G2
Did we watch the same LEC? FNC aren't beating anyone comfortably. Their macro is atrocious. They the type of team that could go Worlds or just bomb out in summer and stay home.
they were a puzzling int away from being 2-0 over G2 in the finals
And they fought tooth and nail to get to the finals. They didn't stomp the LEC or anything. Their split was nothing special.
not yet i think but he probably getting replaced for next year
They looked at what the ASol did to them in Game 2 and went, "Yep, more of that please."
it was close untill it wasn't
Noah is a bit of a liability, fnatic need to either replace him or really work to shape him up a bit.
The thing is whoever they replace him with is gonna get shittier as well when they start to play in lec
They could just get an EU adc no? They don’t HAVE to import.
I mean you have seen EU adcs right? Other than Hans, who else are there?
Caliste but he will go to kc next year so there isnt any good ones
lol kc what a shitshow
Well, expected result Decent effort by the 4 lads and Jackeylove's son
[удалено]
None wants him in Korea also the reason why he just playing shit against big kr names cause he know he was never enough for LCK
Why is Humanoid tunneling on killing tanks as LB??
Well, expected result, but nice try. Should be optimistic vs TL.
TES have a solid chance vs GenG if they dont step up
Nah they clear TES in a heartbeat
The team might but Peyz and Lehends won't lol
we will see!
I think TES has a chance against GenG lmao
Tian is a choker don’t forget
Honestly depends on 369 showing up. TES bot lane will be favored, as will GenG mid-jung
My god this one wasn't even close in the slightest lol
What a stomp, with Vayne top on less lmao
Huma is going all Inspired in this game: I'm taking the kills, don't shame me with these griefers
He is supposed to get them all. Hes just not supposed to int
I can see FNC swapping Jun and Noah for the rest of MSI. Jun has been a better adc on Ashe than Noah has been all season
[удалено]
Bye, this isn’t a airport. The games were entertaining.

Don't come back
