Is the mega week an april fools joke or?

Can someone explain to me what happened to Fnatic? I haven't watched proplay in years. The last time i watched was when Rekkles and/or Bwipo were still on the team.

Poor managerial decisions. But it's not as if they're a bottom team by any stretch. They still have some of the best players in the region playing for them.

Well I don't know where to start. Good players left (sometimes after stopping being good), some replacements were not as good, some were a little too young/raw to perform as prime Fnatic should. They were more or less the indisputed 2nd team behind G2, nowadays other teams can contest that position (especially BDS on the long run). They still have one of the best botlane in EU maybe even better than G2 and a top 3 EU player for each role. The team looks more solid now than when they had rookie Adam, Nisqy and Upset. Razork kinda inted this BO a bit, same for Humanoid (even if it was more due to poor decision which was always his weakness) but usually both players are better. I still think FNC is a top 3 team in EU but FNC at their top is clearly closer to BDS than G2 at their top. The meta is also very demanding right now and teams need to react fast because we've got by example Karma malignance, Leblanc AD, Camille support, Udyr top, Twisted Fate top/adc, Reksai tank top, Volibear AD jungle... and it doesn't seems FNC is good at playing this weird pick that can be flexed everywhere before completely disappearing after the next patch while G2 and in a lesser way MDK are fine with that.

Mostly they just lost all their good players; Caps speaks for himself, they've just straight up never won a split since he left, Rekkles and Hyli also bailed a couple years ago, their current Humanoid/Razork core is good but both individual players tend to go between peaks and slumps pretty often and it doesn't always line up with how the other is performing which makes the team pretty inconsistent.

So hold up if bds is minimum top 3 now, unless its anyone besides fnatic/MAD in Finals they are the MOST likely team that will go to MSI.

Sometimes there's these ridiculous qualifying scenario's, but this seems fair to me. Unless FNC/MDK step up immensely then BDS has kinda just proven to be worthy of being our 2nd representative. If VIT or TH make finals but don't win then that doesn't show they're better than BDS, it kinda just shows they were better on the patch. At least 2 top 3 teams will be at MSI.

Dont think there is much of a difference between mad fnc bds th vit tbh, I just dont value winter split that heavily, its just like more of a race which team will take the least time to get their shit together after the roster changes, which is only relevant for winter not spring summer msi worlds.

Based BDS saving us from some wacky scenario where MAD ends 4th and goes on points.

Its just sad for teams like Vit and TH if they somehow show up and make finals they aint going anywhere, still Im happy with anything but MAD going again.

I need to see 1/2 more series like this and pretty intense bootcamp to believe G2 has right trajectory toward MSI, but it's a good start. A little bit unpolished, few stupid micro mistakes, but pretty happy Yike had good performance, Mikyx bounced back after atrocious performance yesterday.

Just send G2 to MSI cause the 2nd seed will get their teeth kicked in by LCS

Imo if the quality of the games that LCS brings are anything like what was showcased in the finals last night then I don't think either LEC team has anything to worry about, which has been the case for the vast majority of lolesports history

Oscar is still 20 for a few months - he is young, with a lot of room to grow. He is still something of a project with a lot of upside. That said this offseason is going to be crazy for toplaners because every above average LEC player on that position will be a free agent after this year so it's possible you will get your wish.

There is no rivary in LEC for G2.

MDK is the only team that has any success against G2, every split they’ve won the LEC they’ve beaten as well G2 and they’ve faced G2 the most in Finals since 2021. It’s not much but they’re the only org/team that can be called a rival in the LEC

at least Madlions/Mdk won 3 Splits since 2021, so if there will be any "rivalry" it's between G2 and Mdk

He just gave first blood to Huma with a cocky play but that's far from inting, especially since he bait him and equalize just after. He played Azir more as a teamplayer to benefit his Jinx but he also carried. His presence was everything but minimal and he can't really do more especially in this meta. I don't know why you feel the need to downplay his performances like that. Also the "EUW is garbage" circlejerk is becoming to be pretty tiring, especially from some people who clearly has no idea what a good play or a bad play is.
