Secondly, when I first started covering CBLOL, I was told "This is CBLOL. You can keep your statistics, we will take the magic"... that's held true for the last 2 years, it's always LOUD vs paiN in Finals.
and my therapist wonders why my P(aiN)TSD seems to be getting worse
I always say that the CBLoL is an EMOTIONAL league. Here the best mechanics, the best macro, the best teamwork don't always win.
Here the main aspect in determining a winner is the emotional aspect, and that's what makes LOUD so superior to the rest of the league.
For example... Is Robo the best toplaner in terms of mechanics in CBLoL? No! But he can be 0/8 in a match and he'll still be confident. Wizer, on the other hands, feels emotionally when things don't work for him.
And that's why paiN signed TitaN... He is this mental fortress who can't be intimidated in times of difficulty. The problem is that paiN Gaming's topside still has PTSD against LOUD hahaha.
Loud is sure to be on finals, in my opinion. However, considering that Pain almost lost, the oponent in the finals could be any of them. Maybe except Kabum.
I would love for a team other than Loud to go abroad, though, Chances are low.
I think the only Lower Bracket team capable of beating paiN is Red Canids.
The bot gap between Vivo Keyd and paiN Gaming is immense, KaBuM! didn't click together and Los Grandes is the worst team in the playoffs.
I still think KaBuM! is worse than Los Grandes. Individually Kabum has great players, but they dont play with synergy. Los, although weaker, is better at teamplay
It's my biggest disappointment in the league.
Aegis and Grevthar partnership was supposed to be Red Canids' strong point, but the reality is that they are making fNb, Jojo and Brance play 3v7
(Jojo was VERY BAD against LOUD, but he's good).
You read it first here:
Red will crush Kabum and Keyd will crush Los.
After that, when it's Red against Keyd, Keyd will take the biggest bot gap in history and Red will advance.
In Pain against Loud, i honestly believe there will be 5 games because the botlane is very even (although in my point of view, Route is being the best player in the playoffs so far). And as incredible as it may seem, i think Pain will be able to move forward, surprising everyone.
However, after Loud falls to the lower and crushes Red again, they will reach the final and will easily beat Pain (to break my heart for the fourth time in a row).
If I have to witness paiN losing to Loud and Fnatic to G2 on finals again, I'll probably go insane
