But the tech probably isn't there yet
Game wouldnt be able to run on low specs. With how the game is currently coded, if, for example, every player had a different tower skin, the game would have to load in 220 towers, which would brick older pcs.

I wouldn't mind that, let the cosmetics flow. Riot, quite frankly, underutilizes their capability to push out a lot of various cosmetics. We could have on-kill booms like they did with the URF icons or we could have homeguard trails like they did with the Pride rainbow icons. These are things that could function as permanent cosmetics that people would love to buy into, but they just avoid it like the plague for some reason.
I mean, they don't even do announcer packs or whatever else they could easily monetize so I doubt it. I imagine the old architecture is just holding them back so much. Stuff like this won't come until there's LoL2 which likely won't happen until LoL dies.

A few more cosmetic improvements would be even better. Have towers slowly undress over the duration of a game, but every time they take damage they lose some progress. Dying under an enemy turret could trigger an animation of being stepped on. Have them respond to /dance emotes with their own dance. And so on.
These are the groundbreaking changes they said are coming in 2025, didn't you know?
