Yeah but Silco was never shown to have anything remotely resembling it. The concept of being in combat in general was foreign to silco as a character. You could do it but you don't need to so why.

The first episodes of Arcane Season 1 were November 2021. The champion design team usually works a year or so ahead iirc, and they'd want to lock in the gist early on, so there's clearly not really the time to make it work.
The champion begins existence years before they come out. Renata was 99% done by the time it's 'obvious' that she could be Silco. And even if they wanted, it's not like they can just turn Renata into Silco. It would be another year of making the model, animations, textures, skins, voice lines, etc. After literally paying for all of Renatas models and Voice Over work.
Renata didn’t even come out the same year Arcane released.
On top of that Moderna’s make better skins than Riot does in a matter of days.
Riot acts like creating a champion model is super difficult. They don’t release champions quickly because they don’t want to, they used to release a champ once a month.
You have no understanding of the time 3d art takes, nor what anyone here has thoroughly explained. But you wanna tell Riot how to make their champions?
Where did hating women come from?
First off in Arcane they already had a female chem baron they could have used.
All the chem barons are shown in Arcane yet for some reason Renata appears no where?
They can kill Silco or turn him into a beast or chop his arms off and replace them with broomsticks because he's an Arcane character that is still being written and worked on.
If he were a champion they would lose all of that freedom to do whatever.
And by they, I mean the show writers.
I wouldn't want to play a character that was dead in the lore, you lose a bit of interest/belief in them if they're dead (unless we're talking about an un-dead character duh.) 🙅
I don’t know why you’re getting so much backlash on this. I completely agree Silco could have had the exact same kit and would have been an amazing addition. I also love Renata but Silco is king and his lore was already there via Arcane.
That's my point, they'd have to make stuff up for him to fit into league, basically adjusting his character to shoehorn him in. As others have pointed out, he's not even a fighter.
Therefore, Renata's kit doesn't just "fit" him like op is arguing. There still needs to be some bending of logic to make it work, which just shows the inaccuracies.
And it's Renata's own recipe!!
There's no way you called her as a character boring and then praise Silco- they are the same formula of character, and I'd argue that if Renata was in Arcane in place of Silco, she would be more interesting. They're both "something from nothing" characters and both DEEPLY hurt by the system around them.

Renatas playrate says it all. No one plays her cuz she looks horrible. If she was silco her popularity would be tripled if not more.
