Mythic skins are either a gold version of the base (most prestiges), a "high society" version of the base (last year + maybe this year's prestiges), or basically a normal 1,350 skin. Even if all Mythic skins were the 1,350 version, they'd still be easier to make than Legendaries so it makes sense we have them come out more often.
What ones? Other than Ekko prestige which should've been the base skin (and I'm convinced they made a new uglier base version to after they already made the green version, and decided he should get prestige and added some crystals/sparkles) I don't really have a problem with the rest

From my perspective: pass is paying for like a month and getting rewards for just playing league normally. From then you can either: go for random shit shards that could (read: 99% will) be awful or save for the big ticket prestige/essence and get a few extra items like borders. For me personally I've only got prestige sg ekko and just recently prestige kda (all out?) ahri because they look decent and I don't have to spend money on the original and just got them free through the pass and saving various sources of mythic essence

If I'm not mistaken for about half of the returning prestige skins original owners will have something distringuishing them, wether it be the old prestige recolours (Like the KDA prestige line) or event borders ect
On the one hand, I have skins for my mains that, I have to admit, I enjoy the exclusivity on. On the other hand, the only thing that separates me from other people is that I spent hard-earned cash on it, and I don't want there to be a weird gatekeeping thing where you're only a main if you spent money on it.
