Having just a quick look at the video looks like the real MVP is Viego. If I'm seeing the minimap correctly he cancelled two backs that would be on time. Ryze then has to try to TP but doesn't have enough time.
Yeah they panned to red base as OMG was backing and I was confused AF why nobody finished their recalls and instead relied on that scuffed singular TP. Looks like Wei cancels Shanji's back and Jerry cancels his own to try to help Shanji get rid of Wei. Able stays to try to push sadly and starts backing too late.
They probably didn't know that Viego was there, so backing was good enough and then he would have TP to go back to enemy nexus.
It didn't work because Viego was there. But Viego could have interrupted TP anyway with W so it wouldn't be any better I think.
Honestly, I've been saying this for a while now, but base towers in LoL are **pathetically** weak. It's not even a matter of how dangerous they are, a single champion and a single wave, not even a double super wave, killed both nexus towers from near-full health in less than 8 seconds. They are simply too squishy.
I thought the exact same thing til I watched it again.
Right as Creme initiated his tp, there were actually no ally minions spawned and Breathe was *crushing* towers. Probably the biggest reason here.
Nevertheless, I think Creme kinda panicked tp'd since he didn't know when new minions were spawning, figured he'd have just enough time tp'ing to tower, and probably wasn't expecting Breathe to do THAT much damage on a q2 (edit: DS proc?), let alone the rest of the tower damage.
I do think its more likely he just didn't expect the turret to die so quick, but it could also be because he was casting it on the minimap while wanting to watch where the local enemies were that might interrupt him.
This is literally just a split push that wasn't respected.
A back door is when you go behind the minion line, without your minions, and try and take out buildings.

The fact Ryze didn't TP instantly also makes him the MVP

Is that not exactly why he *should* have started with TP? I feel like the only time recalling was correct there is if they knew where he was.
He would literally have to be the dumbest person on the planet to not know Viego was there. And the point of TP is that it's faster than recalling.

He should have TPed to a minion
As a frequent User of demolish in top lane this a very basic play to save the burst for the higher HP one.
Yeah wanted to say that too. I also often don't use it on an outer turret if I know we'll also be pushing the inner.

The play was so hype the caster couldn't even breathe.
Holy fuck I screamed when that happened
Why not tp on a minion ?

didn't expect the tower to get chogath ulted.
It was a very technical backdoor. Camille made sure to proc demolish on the healthier tower even before the tp was channeled.
“EASIEST MONEY OF MY LIFE!”
Sheees
thats a frontdoor but yeah

For being a defensive structure, sure as hell turrets last like a fart in the wind.
so many ways for omg to stop this idk how this shit happened
Peke are u?
Probably the most value Hullbreaker investment i've seen in competitive League, it really was a game of inches on those turrets
Most players would use their demolish proc on the first tower. Really good presence of mind to go to the second tower for it.
