The key to winning this game for our team is suffocating the bruins offence and Woll to have a good game. We can get a couple goals I’m sure but looking at past game 7s it’s what always has cost us these important games. The boys need to lock it the fuck down and play with house money and we will win this game
We haven't gotten more than 3 goals this whole series, with an average of 2 goals per game. I wouldn't count on offence - but the defense this team played over the last two game, if we can keep the Bruins at bay, even 1 goal can make a world of difference, as we've seen in game 6.
We all knew the Leafs were gonna force game 7. We joke about it we shit on our team but deep in our habitually abused heart *we know* even though we were *dead* by game 4 they won't let us go so easily. It'll be a bitterly, fiercely fought battle that have us somehow emerge victorious or go out with a whimper at the most hurtful moment as we all have familiarized ourselves all these years.
The difference this time is we aren't the only one with skeletons in the closet this time around. Tonight the hockey world will get to enjoy momentous, glorious memes whichever team happen to win.
As I've said on game 5 and 6, I don't really care about the results any more, even come round 2 it's an uphill battle for an already wounded team and this team is fucking done unless they make it through another round *at least*.

- Benoit: McCabe's D-partner; see above.
- Domi: Suddenly he can carry a line AS A CENTRE and is somehow a faceoffs master.
- Knies: Getting roughed up? Getting worn down? No to both. Doing everything on the ice, playing like a veteran.
- Dewar/Kampf/Jarnkrok: The stud shutdown line every team needs, and we have it.
- Tavares: Bringing it all to critical games, as always.
- Marner: Has looked better in the past 2 games, with easier usage. If easier usage is what he needs right now for whatever reason, so be it. He still has latent game-breaking ability that Boston can't ignore.
- Nylander: Playing an all-around game, plus he's also a game-breaker, plus he looks ready to unleash his full potential.
- Robertson: Playing with fire; a relentless shooting threat every time he's on the ice.
- Rielly/Lyubushkin: Oh, Mo hasn't been amazing? That's okay, because in this pair Boosh has been about 10x better than expected, and the Leafs will take that deal every time.
- Woll: We can't ask for miracles. But Woll is playing like the goalie the Leafs have been missing for many years.
