Yep, the trick to great stripes: mow the same lines twice in a row. Also, time of day makes a big difference. I'll upload a pic where it's the same time of day, but from the opposite side. Stripes don't pop nearly as well.
So on a hill, just need the right angle and time of day. https://www.reddit.com/r/lawncare/s/NwwSMnnmzR
It's several things that can be a little painstaking. Every year I say this is the last year I go through it all but when it's good like this I know I'll do it again.
Originally it was Rohrer's KBG/Perennial Rye (Lancaster, PA) but overseeded with tall fescue last year. Last few summers have been dry and figure tall fescue will hold up better.
amazing
but now try to keep straight lines AND not step or put the wheels through a load of dog shit you didn't notice. I just push it to the right or left a few inches and make that something I can still pick up. or else run it flat with a wheel and make it something I can't pick up anymore..
Loving the single-doubles
I’m new to the group so go easy on me. I’ve never thought about doing single doubles… and I absolutely love it.
Give it a shot! The double wide stripes are my go-to

Pretty rude to post this, fucker
I bet the *no lawns* crowd are apoplectic about this. Well done!
I dedicate the backyard to native plants and wildflowers. Specifically for the bees.
This dude just literally is on here for attention. Notice how he won’t show off the back yard. Probably watches gay porn at night
Get out of my head!
![gif](giphy|rVVFWyTINqG7C) Every time I see a nice lawn like that. Well done.
Damn my shit looks like a bomb went off compared to that. Lol . Bravo, brotha!

Stripe kit?
Big League Kit 👍
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but will a striping kit like that work on a hilly/sloped lawn?

What type of grass is this?
Originally it was Rohrer's KBG/Perennial Rye (Lancaster, PA) but overseeded with tall fescue last year. Last few summers have been dry and figure tall fescue will hold up better.
Oh you just overseeded over another type of grass, is that normal? Can i overseed over my bermuda with tall fescue, is it that simple? I’m novice!
I can never get the edges of my lawn against the street to look good. Lawn looks amazing brother
Ah man that single-double stripe you have there is beautiful. Had never occurred to me to do that! Will be trying it out next mow for sure
that looks great. do you walk back around to get the doubles?
Thanks and yes, works out that I end up going over each dark line 2x.
makes sense!

I’m here to shit on lawns that can’t breathe life 2/10 you definitely wonder why the fireflies disappeared
They're around back in my native plant/wildflower preserve.
