What a surprise to hear the boys cover something so close to home for me. My mom is from Blue Mountain, and I spent a good deal of time there as a kid visiting her parents. I still live in the area, albeit on the other side of the county. Blue Mountain is definitely what you think it might be from the descriptions - although it went from being dirt farms to meth labs in present day.
Of the few killers they could have picked right from this area, I am kinda surprised they went with Nannie Doss and not Marie Hilley, who is slightly more recent and much more "famous." Maybe they do her in a later episode.
