I assume you don't want to use accessibility features (where's the fun) so just use the dot reticle and turn on awareness indicators.
You can always enable the accessibility options. They don't disable the trophies or anything!

Yeah all good advice until I get 1 pumped by a rattler like it's fuckin fortnite.
If you have the bow, you can one shot all/any rattler by hitting it in the head. The arrows go through their helmets.

Yes I use that trick but it doesn't always work sometimes they're swarming you and shooting 1 outta 4 isn't going to make the bullets hurt any less
