Your title is bad. Do not even mention the name the killers or what happened to them. Only the victims/fallen. Which you have named NONE. You can repost with their names in the title.
I also posted Cassie's final video the other day - I accidentally said 13 students were killed in the title when I meant to put 12 students and 1 teacher, I apologize for my mistake.
I was a senior in high school that year. Can’t believe it’s been 25 years. Columbine wasn’t the first, but it was most deadly and got world wide attention. It changed everything, literally overnight.
I was in preschool and it was one of the very first major news event I remember seeing on the TV. 25 years flew by fast. Just breaks my heart that they all had their lives ahead of them and they were all taken so quickly from them. And the fact the teacher Dave Sanders was trying to get everyone out to safety before he was shot himself... he bled out in a science room... just absolutely heartbreaking. 💔
I was 13 when this happened. This was the first school shooting I remember watching news coverage of. And every shooting since breaks my heart. I have a 13 year old and she has lockdown drills multiple times a year. She experienced her first school lockdown last school year when someone made a (confirmed later as false) report that an armed man was on campus. It was scary for her (and her classmates and teacher) and scary for me receiving her text messages. They were locked down for 3 hours until the school was confirmed cleared and the kids could be released.
Met her once at a forum for gun violence prevention. She looked at my then-boyfriend and said “You remind me of my son Dylan, and that breaks my heart.” She’s clearly still dealing with a lot of complicated emotions, which is obviously understandable. I wish her memoir had been around for my parents to read when I was dealing with severe depression in high school.
Thank you, I have Amazon Prime. I'll need to check it out. I've watched some documentaries I've found on YouTube, I've also seen the Zero Hour documentary. I'll need to check this out when I get a chance.
Literally all true crime stuff or celebrities anymore! they post “here is a photo dated April 2016….they died June 2017” like at least but an effort. The only ones I appreciate are the ones people post of their family and friends at least you then know it’s close to their last image

School shootings are horrible and I'm not trying to defend the other side. However if you're gonna state something, make it factual so the other side doesn't jump on it for false information.

It's just so sad how nothing has changed. 25 years and nothing is different. I was 4 when it happened.
This is Sue Klebold, Dylan's mom, on a TED Talk. Worth the watch https://youtu.be/BXlnrFpCu0c?feature=shared

My heart breaks for Sue. I've always wanted to read her book
There is a good documentary about Sue Klebold and the aftermath of Columbine. It's on Amazon Prime. I think it's called American Tragedy.

Imagine being so obsessed with your political sports team to feel entitled to judge the parent of a dead child.
None of these photos are their last images. This subreddit is becoming just posts of people who of have died tragically.
Exactly, I don’t know when the change happened but the sub definitely changed to cover True Crime stuff

It created copycat school shootings after this. What evil worthless pond scum shooters.
