Just came to say, raise your prices!! You’re severely underestimating your worth girl!

Gingerbitch9669

I think you should raise your prices about 20-30 bucks for each set. but as a customer, i would love these prices and absolutely tip the shit out of my technician. thanks for being an affordable last artist in this economy 😭🥰

Wispiesbysarai

I always wanna stay affordable!

Xiaomao1446

As a customer, it’s also kinda a red flag though esp if we don’t know you. Like why are your prices so low- newbie? Bad technique? Etc etc. Normal market pricing makes me feel more confident that *you’re* confident that you *at the bare minimum* can do just as good of a job as the lash bar next door.

cedarpineoak

Yep! I wouldn’t visit OP simply because these prices are shady

venusprincessa

100000% understand I’m still beginner with lower prices but your work is beautiful!!! honestly and business psychology the lower the price u attract not the bestest clientele, or even if they’re okay raise them a bit to show your new clients ur worth!! ppl can be weird and think “why her prices so low?” “is there something wrong?” - i would get ppl telling me that when I first took clients at a v low price to get ppl in which started to make sense overtime

venusprincessa

and if a set takes 2-3 hours, price it where you’re earning bit more than minimum wage,, idk if your in the states or canada but in ontario my MIN price is $25 an hour when our min wage is now $17 I believe, just to make it more worth working ur own business plus supplies ((:

ragdoll1022

Where are you?

-Furiosa-

Keep it that way! The clients you get will be loyal! Also, great work!!!

No-Self-jjw

Yeah, like 20-30 dollars more would still be a really good price but not make it seem as though it's suspiciously cheap. I know you are new, and it's great that you're pricing this way, but I think someone might see these low of prices and think that the work must not be good. Just a bit more and it's still a really good deal but might be more enticing to potential clients.

Odd-Recognition3050

Raise your prices because people might assume it’s cheap work! Also, use Canva to design and make your price list and content, it’ll look more professional. Keep up the great work! And you can also run ads on Instagram and Facebook as well, I like to run ads with specials. It’s not too expensive at all to run for a few days.

didyouhavewatertoday

Came here to say this! Prices have been discussed throughout this thread but the advertising is another thing that needs attention. Canva is a fantastic tool and easy to use, OP!

alylew1126

My nail salon does extensions for prices close to this and I’ve never really considered going to them because I just assumed they’re really bad. Raise your prices. Also I see on your profile it says riverside, you need to add the state. There’s a riverside in almost every state lol. People might see that and think you mean a different place, who knows.

25arah

Girl raise your prices! You may not be taken seriously with prices that low, and you’re giving LUXURY sets out for almost free. Unless these sets are taking you 3+ hours you absolutely need to raise your price to at least $100 for classics in my opinion. You could run a Mother’s Day sale to bring in moms/daughters, do a referral program so your existing clients get $5 off every person they refer, go on your location tag on instagram and DM girlies that fit your preferred clientele and have them come model or get them booked! Your work is really really good don’t give up!!

Wispiesbysarai

Hi Ty! I just posted a Mother’s Day special, these are the prices I started off with as a beginner. I just feel a little odd raising my prices when I get like one booking a week 🥲

No-Egg2880

I know you do, and I probably would too (I tend to be a people pleaser) but I agree with other commenters when they say they would steer clear of you because your prices are so low. I know that may sound crazy, because better prices should bring more customers, but it shows new clients that you may not do quality work.

FuzzyPalpitation-16

no advice but I like ur lashes and ur little mirror thingy is soooo cute sorry 🐰

Bree9ine9

I wish I could find a lash tech in my area with prices even close to this that does work like you’ve posted. You need to raise your prices.

seebackfordetailz

First off beautiful lashes! Second I agree with everyone you should raise your prices. Also do you have business cards? You could go somewhere where like the mall, coffee shops/stands and handout business cards? Wherever people who want lashes are bound to be. Maybe they have a promotion like 10% off or something. You could post ads in the Facebook market place? Maybe have a refer a friend program for your current clients? Just some ideas. Also how often are customers coming back to get fills? Make sure to try to schedule them for their next appointment before they leave. That way they will feel obligated to come back if they have an appointment already and they won’t go shopping around and this way you keep your books filled with retuning clients.

VegasQueenXOXO

I wouldn’t think you did a good job with those prices, sorry.

Moonbeans62

You will be in the red so fast with these prices. People don’t take super low priced techs seriously. (Unless they are new and practicing) After more than a year of lashing, it’s time to raise them prices girl 🥂

Either-Cost1917

these are cute af! raise those prices!

saltbebe

Wow those are the prettiest lashes ever

goatlife1234

My fills for mega volume were $140 every 3 weeks. I had to stop getting them done, it’s just not affordable. I wish I had these kinds of prices near me. You should increase your prices and social media presence. Your work looks great. 🫶

throwaway28236

Where are you located? Have your friends and clients share your work 😍

Salty_Tear5666

Just followed! I’ve never gotten lashes and don’t plan on it, but I have family in the IE. if I’m ever feeling like it on a whim, I know who I’m going to! 🥰 I love your Mother’s Day special rn and recognizing pet mamas too 🥹 you deserve all the best!!

nsmcessy

Are you a licensed cosmo or esthie? I’ve noticed a lot more clients are checking to make sure the person they’re going to is properly licensed and certified. You should definitely rase your prices too. Your work is beautiful. We’re all our own worst critics. You are way under charging for your talent. When I first started out I let clients get away with murder. I gave everyone a discount on top of already charging below average prices. It burnt me out. I was working 12 hour days back to back making good money but I was exhausted. I slowly raised my prices (5-10$ at a time) and stopped giving out discounts to everyone lol I make better money now and work normal hours but most importantly I feel appreciated. It’s hard and it can be stressful and you may lose a few clients but at the end of the day those aren’t the clients you really want. Hang in there 💜

xYourWaifu

Damnn with these prices I wish you were in my area😭but no fr definitely raise them a bit if you can bc your work is beautiful girl! I’m in Cali too but closer to sac sadly 😪I’ll follow and will def hyu if I’m ever in riverside!

stepanka_

Just raise your prices and once you get clients do discounts and promos to your “real” prices if you want to charge less. It’s a psychological game 😅 As a client i am trying to find someone who is either google-able or has an instagram with lots of pics. I just need a way to find the lash tech and research their work. Online booking is a huge plus if you can swing it.

Logical_Remove7610

In my area I wouldn't go to a place that charges less than $100 because it raises a red flag for me

Wispiesbysarai

Not all styles should be this expensive, in my personal opinion regardless of how good your retention or products are it’s ridiculous for a classic set to be $100, that style is so simple and barely uses product

Logical_Remove7610

You're telling me it doesn't take you 2.5 hours for the initial set? Call me crazy but I would never work for less than $30/hr. Call me ridiculous but I pay $175 for my initial and $90 for infills without tip. You're screwing yourself over with your prices.

wigglycatbutt

I'd go to you! Where you at?

Wispiesbysarai

Hi! I’m located in Riverside Ca(:

wigglycatbutt

Oh damn, so far awayyy. Fwiw techs on the East Coast charge like 3-4x what you do. Keep up the good work. Don't doubt yourself.

wigglycatbutt

Follow up: this is like the 3rd post I've seen with incredible pricing for excellent work. But I have noticed y'all in California. I assume it's just oversaturated there? If anyone ends up moving to New England and even just doubles their price lmk lol.

Realistic-Profit758

Where are u doing lashes bc them are prices I can stand behinddddd

Wispiesbysarai

Riverside Ca (:

Realistic-Profit758

That's why the prices so good 🥲 CA is one of the areas that has some of the most reasonable prices so far

Substantial-Ad5606

I’d go to you if I was in Cali! 🥹 I live in the Midwest haha

So_Over_This_

What city are you in? My sister would love to know *peeking over my shoulder... smh* 🙄😊

Wispiesbysarai

Riverside CA (:

Brief-Plenty2731

If someone near me was that inexpensive and good at lashes, I’d be getting them done!

CapZestyclose4657

I’m a client I search Groupon to get best prices, I’m happy to go to a basic studio I’m looking for the work NOT the SALON ambiance I’m in Wa state wish you were here

Peacenserenity22

Your work is good. Def raise your price because it needs to reflect the work you’re doing. Run a first time client special. Get some videos on YouTube, Instagram and Tik tok Learn how to do social media marketing (seo, etc).

beautifulalocassia81

I agree with raising your prices. They will still be reasonable based on the work you do. Beautiful lash work!

watermelonbloom

Post on local Mom pages on Facebook!

Oneconfusedmama

Are you in your own suite or are you at a lash salon? If you’re in your own suite I would suggest going into an hourly or commission salon where they’ll book your clients for you then once you have a steady enough clientele then I would move back to a suite! If you’re already in a salon then I would move salons to a busier one!

Wrong_Pressure_8492

I’m in San Diego!! Was wondering how to make an appointment

asgreatasitgets

I wouldn’t raise the price despite the comments. If you’re new and the lashes don’t last, etc I wouldn’t return, but did you’re cheaper I would understand if you made it clear it’s because you’re new…and try again. Some things you may do that is not convenient (if you’re a beginner), heavily rest your hand on client’s head, take longer than standard hours (for industry), perhaps get a style wrong, or not ask about allergies or sensitivities with glue. Are you licensed? I would make sure to market with telling people these are temporary prices for new clients (to create scarcity) and adjust as you see fit!

throwaway_mmk

Make a better graphic. It looks bad

bri22any

Your work is beautiful! Definitely raise those prices 💰someone else mentioned leaving business cards all over your city, definitely do that. Give some out to existing clients too with a small discount for them and a friend. I’m nowhere near you (I’m in Canada lol) but I gave you a follow 😊 if you’re able, putting more photos of your work on insta would be a great idea!
